This is a beautiful temple in Bajranpuri, Patna. This temple is goddess Kali.....Kali’s name derives from the Sanskrit meaning ‘she who is black’ or ‘she who is death’, but she is also known as Chaturbhuja Kali, Chinnamastā, or Kaushika. As an embodiment of time Kali devours all things, she is irresistibly attractive to mortals and gods, and can also represent (particularly in later traditions) the benevolence of a mother goddess.Mahakali is a symbol of destruction and dissolution. She destroys evil and ignorance, maintains a balance between good and bad and blesses and frees those who strive for the knowledge of God.
