Kurji Holy Family Hospital was founded by the Medical Mission Sisters(MMS),a group of women religious in the catholic church, through the inspiration of their founder Mother (Dr.) Anna Dengel who first came to Padri Ki-Haweli, Patna City in 1939 and it functioned there till 1958. It was shifted to Kurji and formally inaugurated on November 19, 1958 by His Excellency Dr. Zakir Hussain, President of India.As the years went by, MMS needed other like minded religious groups to continue the healing ministry of Kurji Holy Family Hospital. Thus, in the year 2000 it became a joint venture in which the MMS and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth (SCN) came together to further its mission of healing. This mission is continued with several women religious groups, the Jesuits of Patna and the dedicated staff of the hospital.Alert and responsive to the signs of the times, the hospital endeavors to respond to the various health needs of the community. Nurses may behave harsh but they are highly experienced. Pathology is very good. Highly recommended for maternity. Normal delivery is the rule. Charge for normal delivery Rs 14000 to 15000 (varies with patient). My both kids born here & through normal delivery.......

Now this hospital is one of the meanest hospitals in Patna city. It is just thriving on its old glory and wont hesitate to take a pound of flesh from its patient base just like any other Private institute in patna.They have a very low moral values towards patients and their relatives. I think they have buried their self objective on which it was standing so long.If you are looking for a delivery then believe me it used to be a good hospital; not anymore. You can have more good options in Patna than this jail ward.Update: I have suffered enough from this hospital and the deed is done. You cant reverse all the pain and agony I faced in your hospital. Getting a baby delivered is a beautiful moment for any persons life and we always try to cherish those moments. The hospital Nurses and other staffs ignorance made it a nightmare and kept me crying all night/day for my family member.Instead of giving frustrated comments try to work on your staffs and doctors attitude towards patients. They are human beings and are in weak moments when they come to your hospital.

This is a reputed hospital for chikd delivery and no emergency treatment is available in need. They hire doctors and doctors here give a lot of tests and medicines.They deliberately keep the patients in the ward admitted to make billand usually discharge the patient after 12:00 noon so that they can charge for the whole day.I recently visited this hospital but found none of the nursing staff supporting and caring.Moreover they experiment much on the patient with the enterns.this should not be done. Overall average hospital with average facilities.Only maternity patients they can treat well.You can go there by Auto , bus or your personal vehicle.It is present beside Ravi Bharti, near kurji more 800010.

My both kiddo born here. Doctors are very co-ordial and good thing is that they always insist for normal delivery. Costing is always less than the other private hospital. God bless you for your kindness towards humanity

If you are planing to deliver your baby here, i suggest please find any other private hospital. operation charge are almost same, room are little costlier than others and the most important nurses are so rude except some of them.it feels like a jail. if your patient cant move on themself and you have to care of baby too. then you will thik why i came to this hospital (one person policy). who came at 4.45 for injections? nurses came early morning and ask to eat something quickly. how can a patient do any work quickly?they make me to think to go any other hospital after 2 days of operation of my wife. i know it is not safe to move any other hospital but it came to mind after experience the behaviour of nurses (exception present everywhere)dont advice any one to be here for delivery. they make your beautiful moment hilarious.please choose any other option.

Best hospital for safe and normal delivery in bihar. I dont have idea about cost of other hospitals but as I think, Kurji family hospital taken reasonable cost w.r.t any other pvt hospitals in patna.Yes they have lot of pressure due to crowd so they need to be strict.Please keep serving public in same manner & please enhance & increase waiting area acc to admission(crowd) so that patients & attendents can feel good.Charging point was of 1960 era (quality of every materials in hospital are extremely high thats why still everything in good condition) in room,was unable to use chargers. Canteen quality(food) is poor.Thank u KURJI hospital & team.

Very bad environment and behaviour here. The guards are rude, Drs are rude. They let pregnant ladies stand outside the building for hours and give excuse of covid19. Standing outside in huge crowd is not safe and these people dont know that. Additionally, for consultation 4 drs sit in a row without and social distance. They let 10 patients inside for consultation. How save it is in covid 19 situation? These people have no idea how to deal with this situation and what is a pendamic. They are just some brainless creatures creating their own rules. They are so shameless that they dont even think before making pregnant ladies stand for hours, even if they are 9 months pregnant.The main issue is the medical infrastructure of bihar that there is no place to go. And because of this, these government as well as private medical centers are taking so much advantage of someones misery.

It is very good hospital for pregnant ladies and child care. Management is good. Except few nurses rude talking. Also atleast one guardian shld be allowed with pregnant lady, I know its for our safety but exception can be made with pregnant lady. Facilities are also good with affordable rates.Recent update: they ll do antibody test, or other covid test before admitting. It may take 2-4 hrs.

Neat and clean, well maintained with all the facilities. Qualified doctors and well trained nursing staff. Nicely managed and nominal charges. Way better than any private clinic for obs. & gynae. Highly recommended for delivery cases. They wait and try for normal delivery unlike private clinics.

Doctors are good...if you are going for consultation ,try to reach counter around 7 to 8 am and your doctor will see you around 10 to 11 am as there is a long queue....Rs 300 for first time visit....inside hospital you have medicine counter and canteen....

KHFH is managed by Catholic Nuns and it is known for its Nursing Service.I have done a voluntary service here in 2003.Many poor people of Patna and different parts of Bihar used to get treated here.Dedicated service was offered by the administration.

The hospital is only good for nursing otherwise inefficient doctor and OT staff. Patients and their families are kept in dark. Who did the operation, what was the complications, nothing is shared with the family and patients. It will be only known after getting the registration/record book after discharge. Dr on emergency duty was completely inefficient and misbehave with family of patients to hide their inefficiency. Daily visit to the admitted patients was done by such Dr who dont have any idea about complications of the patient. Hospital charge for such worthless Dr visit.As a personal experience I found Dr Bhawna on emergency duty a highly inexperienced Dr and trying to hide his inefficiency by misbehaving with family of patients.Hospital charge is not less as compared to other private hospitals.

Today we came for vaccination for our baby.total 4 vaccine has to give to our baby that costs Rs. 250 in normal but they said 1vaccine is not available, so either pay 3700 or come to next friday to take the benifits of government schem of vaccination that costs only 250.Really horrible.These kind of hospital also started making money under the name of missionary hospital.It is one of the worst hospital for maternity.i would never suggest any body to go for tratment here.It will almost cost you equivalent to any normal hospital if you are going for cesserian section delivery.Always crowded and very poor management.This hispital is surrviving just because of their old reputation of being missionary hospital.These hospital also started pofit making hospital.you will not find any nurse with good behaviour and proper skill.very pathrtic.

Very pathetic service here.now this kind of missionary hospital also became money minded.i am going to tell you internal things now.what exactly they do inside labour room is that they will totally not coperate in normal delivery,nurse will laugh and make you scared of it so that you only will ask for ceserian operation, and thats how they have working model.Even nurse use to say like agar 15/20 operation nahi hoga to itne bade hospital ka maintainace aur humlogo ka salary kaise accha se hoga.my wife thought to capture all these things but they did not allowed mobile inside labour room.

Very bad behaviour by nurses. First they would frighten you in order to sign for caesarean delivery telling that your child would die and they would not take responsibility of normal delivery. Besides my wife and my sister in law both had very terrible experience of getting beaten and abused by nurses when on delivery bed. They do not attend properly after delivery and even men frequent the delivery chamber staring at women lying naked... Pathetic handling of neo-mothers...

Very good experience about health worker and upgradation in technique of delivery in delivery room required.But I am very much disappointed with arrogant behavior of Guard on entrance of hospital during noon time on 29&30th Nov 2020.

Hospital is good but staffs are rude...Nurse behavior is soft but security guard and other staff behavior is very very very bad ☹️In a delivery rome , they didnt announced updated information of patients.They always take 2-4 days for delivery and not allow more then 1person with patients.. u hv only choice wait wait wait wait...... For latest info. They prefer surgery for delivery if labor pain is not coming back to backPatients and guardian feels misguided here.Specially guards always treat like a president bodyguard .

My elder son was born here it in 2011. That time nursing facility was very good. Now this time i took my wife for her second delivery. Now I will not suggest anybody to go there. Nurses and nursing facilities are worst. Nurses do not know how to behave. Talk like illiterates. Most ill mannered nurses. You will not get any update regarding your patient. One doctor will say something, another will say other thing. I will not advise anybody to go there.

I was admitted to the hospital thrice this year(2016). I found nursing staff to be prompt, professional and largely courteous. Doctors too visited the patients including me at regular intervals. i wish there were more expert doctors around and less number of freshers. In terms of food and hospitality the hospital is fairly good.

This is one of the worst hospital in Patna. My wife was admitted in this hospital for delivery. They did not let me or even her to see the report. The lab tests done, medicines given to patient, doctor prescription etc. reports will not be given to you even after discharge. The nurses are rude and they do not even allow family members to meet patient. The doctor does not spend much time to the patient and most of the things are done by under trainee nurses. As they do not provide sufficient report, it becomes really difficult to get the insurance money as you do not have discharge summary report, lab reports and the medication given to patients in the hospital. I will not recommend anyone to get admitted to this hospital for delivery.

Wrost service no any staff and nurse listen to the patient issue. Its a private hospital but its just similar as other government hospital.

Very poor service, dark blue color dressed security guards are very rude and noisy to talk, completely gunda type. They talk loud to hide the truth and does not answer any query. They just shout on you so that you go away. Nurses are rude, they comment by saying we are not your servents, as we are still paying the extra service charges for nurses Rs. 250 per day. Very bad experience. I would never recommend anyone to reach out such low quality hospitals. Please find a better options before you choose a hospital.

Doctors are good but it lack very basic facilities. You wont find a clean washroom anytime in the hospital campus. The hospital admin do not maintain a basic hygene. Nothing will happen even if you complain. Nurses are also very arragont. My wife informed them about the bleeding at 2 in the night and they did not change the bed sheet until 7 in the morning, that also when I started shouting during the visiting hours which is 5 to 7. If your patient is in general ward they will not even allow you to stay apart from the visiting hours. It is very hard to get a private room as they do not have have any system in place to allot rooms. I would not suggest anyone to go for this hospital if the doctors confirm that baby can only be delivered by cesarian. Go for this if this is your first baby because they always try for normal delivery.

I would not suggest anybody to go there. Most inhumane treatment.They dont give chance for normal delivery and force people for surgery ,let alone suggesting. They treat patients really bad and keep them empty stomach denying them food and water. They scold the the patient and makes him feel as it is all his fault. Hospitals environment is too hostile, nurses are having PHD in misbehaving. Even without informing anyone from patient side , they do all preparation of operating and create a big whoop and pressurize you for cesarean.Please dont risk your unborn childs and his mothers life by going there.
