This technically is one the most well-known heritage food joints in the city. It does boast of its glorious past and somewhat lives up to it.Moving away from nostalgia that this place carries, a lot has changed. The quality of the food remains the same but the quantity has been reduced. As it opened after the lock down this month I felt The food portions have been reduced significantly and it will leave you a bit unsatisfied. Its location, menu options, arrangements everything has lots of stories and history attached to it. If not for anything else Its a must visit place for a piece of history it holds.
Worst quality foor I ordered dosa and for 1 week I faced indigestion and acidity tland the taste was also worst
Always a favorite since childhood.... probably the best place to have south Indian food in patna
Clean and especially for those who loved masala dosa... Believe that.. 😋
Nice place, food item was tasty. High quality higene. Rasgolla is superb
I dont really like dosa but sambhar is the best

It is not very hygiene. They dont clean the table properly.Dont have enough waiters.Quality of ice cream was very poor and price very high.
They take a lot of time for preparing a chocolate shake
Its shake quality is worst ,thn after consuming I am feeling so unwell
I personally have great trust on soda fountain. Recently we visited with our kids and reminds them about my hostel days when we come in group to watch movie in Mona and have milk shake in soda fountain 😊
My favourite south Indian restaurant in Patna. I have been visiting this since 2004-05. The food is delicious and the ambience is good too.
Food is ok ok typeSamosa chat is not upto the mark while dosa is of normal taste
Rasmalai is my favourite dish while I visit here... Quality of snacks is so tasty and well spiced...
Choose any food in the menu and youre good to go. However if you pick the South Indian foods, get ready for your tongue to be surprised. South Indian foods here are better than those in South India. Location is awesome, service is fast and pleasant. One of those best places to eat.
Dosa was okayish.
Food was awesome I tried Chinese starters it was delicious and amazing. Recommend everyone to try.
Quality of food and service is good.
This place reminded me of my childhood days when I used go out with my parents to eat. That fragrance of mouth freshner with old school tables and chairs. Dosa was superb. Sambar was top class and same was chatni. A must visit place if you want to get that old school feel with awesome taste.
I visited this place after shopping . I ate dosa , gulab jamun and Rasmalai . Dosa cost -150 , sweets - 70
Please visit for more and more delicious food
This shop is old one and making very tasty lassi and bhaang
Verry bed test of dhosa ,Its totally waste of money,I never ever suggest anyone to go there.
Food quality needs to be improved. Prices also needs to be checked. Stop wasting money on attires of the servers
My most favourite place for masala dhosa and ras madhuri
Product is good but rate is too much expensive.
At this place one can get south indian cousins and soft drinks
Excellent in food taste and quality but need to improve staff behaviour and services.

Tried Rava dosa. It was very crispy and nice.
The food is good but the waiters tend to expect tip and keep on roaming around which is a lil uncomfortable

Poor Service and Rude staff. Food just average.
Best place to have south indian
This used to be a brilliant place to hangout and get tasty food items at reasonable cost. So I visited Soda fountain in March 2019 to relive the memories but this time the food items were below average and costs were really high. No taste, no flavour left.
Good
Very bed dhosa totally unsatisfied
Nice place to have a quick bite of vegetarian and south Indian dish
Good place to eat South India dishes. I am rating this with 3 stars due to an average quality of the food. Its a pocket friendly restaurant .
Very old South Indian restaurant.. It all provides which you can eat at a reasonable Price.. With historic view..
Love the place for their south Indian delicacies.Quick service.Quality is good
Good for medium budget...
BIG CHEATER! They packed only one Pie of rasmalai instead of two in each cup . No hygeine, rude behavior of staffs and poor quality heavy costs.
Nice
Nice
One of my favourite restaurants for the sake of old good times. You can enjoy crispy Dosa and Dessert Items. Its air conditioned and waiters are humble.
Good place for light food
Food quality poor
Best place for Chaat, Idli and Dosa lovers
Nice and one of the oldest restaurants of Patna. Good place if you are planning to have a quick Chinese or South Indian Meal. Shop is divided in a sweet shop with a non AC dining facility (Good for Students and tourists) and an AC restaurant. Both offers takeaway. If you are not need to sit and relax in AC, go for the Non AC section, it is economical and faster. Chinese thali and South Indian Thali are a must try here.....
Love the food here, closely resembles the ones served in south. Ambience is exquisite.
Best South Indian food.
Service was too slow for meI ordered chowmien and they took 30 min to pack it. No sitting arrangements 😞
Good South Indian food
Haha...they serve me mixed sattu insted of coconut chatni with dosa
A good well maintained and clean place for the people who loves South Indian, Chinese here Indian traditional sweets are also served.. when I feel hungry the first place I remember in mind is the soda fountain and Milk bar.. because its so hygiene
What to say about this place.. It was so in front of my knowledge yet I had the privelage to visit this place recently...although you can have plethora of choice to choose from especially if u r looking for No risk--budget friendly--hunger curbing...then you can have any dosa... It is so in the posh locality yet it completely awe you with its price without compormising with the quality.A big thumbsup to this place...
Wrost dosa i have ate yet in my life.
Very nice shop for quality buyers
Neat and clean...And quality of food also good
