The only thing good about this property is that it offers a good view of the snow clad peaks. The rooms are pretty basic with basic upholstery, the washrooms are too small and cramped. The restaurant and is also very basic and the food is also okish. One has to walk uphill for about 20-25 minutes from the parking at the start of village Tosh to reach this place.

Located in pristine, lush green baradari gardens, in the heart of the Patiala city is the majestic red-tiled and tilted roofed building of the club, Completed in 1890s, it resembles the pavilion of the Oval England, and its exotic architecture is the reflection of the royal grandeur of erstwhile Patiala state.It was Maharaja Rajindra Singh who was a pioneer among the Indian princes to take on the game of cricket in the right earnest. Although only 14 years of age the young Maharaja showed great zeal and aptitude for it. The Maharaja and his young brother, Raja Ranbir Singh used to take up their position as rival captains on the field, eager to inflict defeat on the other side. After the completion of the cricket pavilion, Maharaja Rajindra Singh established a regular club of Cricket and named it Patiala Cricket Club. Also Squash was among the earliest sports initiated here in the late 19th century..

One of the most royal places of Patiala to visit. It contains many amenities ranging from Sports which includes Swimming, Gym, Tennis and other Games. Very good Restaurants and Bars, but only members can avail the facilities. Ambiance is very good, food is good, Sports environment is very good, a lot of networking opportunities with eminent people of the city. In the centre, it contains a very big lawn, were you can dine and sometimes watch live cricket matches also.A must visit place if you are visiting Patiala or you are a from Patiala.

It is EXTREMELY UNSAFE to stay with your family in the maharani club. Their staff is ill mannered and they do not respect the privacy of their guests. I would not recommend anyone to spend even a single Night here.

A very elite place to spend an evening. Entry is restricted to members only. Founded by the royal family of Patiala. It has a Gym, tennis court and many other sporting facilities. Fine dining that serves sumptuous food and a Bar with a generous menu to offer makes the evening even more pleasurable. Do try this if you know someone who is a member.

The place is beautiful and very lively, I visited on a Saturday evening and it was a Tambola night so the place was over crowded and finding a seat was also difficult. The food and drinks are nice. Overall, the place is good if you visit on a non event day.

Nice clean place with beautiful lawns. It has resturant bar. But one needs to have its membership to enjoy all the perks. Occasionally when events are organised from a third party, people who are not even members may visit. But parking inside is only for members. One may park outside if not a member here. There is adequate space. It has cricket ground and some of the national cricketers emerged after training from here. People feel proud to have membership for this club actually.

Right now the club membership is the luxury symbol status and this club is trying to keep upto the status by regular upgradesWhether its children park, the new cafe or the garden , minor upgradations keep adding value. The food is also quite decent. I wont rate it extremely good but its quite decent and given the price of menu , it wont pinch u. Infact u will mostly find it a better deal.
