The Patiala zoo is a major attraction for children. It houses a wide variety of animals. There are different species of sparrows, monkeys, alligators, peacocks, rabbits and deers found here.One can explore the Deer Park. It is a haven for the bird watchers. The park is situated 5-6 kms away from the main city and can be visited between sunrise and sunset.The zoo is the best place to get closer to nature and enjoy the greenery, shady trees and a long water body. There is a small cafeteria for refreshment.

Nice zoo but not at good location.it is not big one so it is good for short picnic with family , friends , kids. Here you must take your own meals because there is no management for this.There are no much animals although it have many birds , deers as well as crocodile and some other species.Its ticket is reasonable . However , there is *lack of greenery* .If you visit here beware of monkeys that are roaming here.

Its a small zoo but there are many different species. Its a good place for children. Zoo is not too big. There is a RO drinking water supply and washrooms are available but I didnt used washrooms so cant say anything about it.

Deer Park in now Patiala Zoo Patiala. Sambur, Black Buck, Pahra, Neel Gaus and peacocks n many birds are kept in cages and partitions. Canteen offers some eatables and tea etc. Parking lot is good. The zoo is small and has little variety for visitors. Entry tickets are priced at Rs 20.00 per person.

Its good spend some time, but only few varities of deers and birds.

The place is quite small according to a Deer park but I guess thats acceptable because Patiala isnt a big city in itself . Overall they have good collection of some birds , many variety of deers , a crocodile and much more . Couples come often here 😅 so thats a plus point too .

Deer park is not easily accessible, u need ur own vehicle to get there conveniently (I recommend). But the environment inside the park is very good , u can go with kids , family freinds . As the name depicts u will get to see a large variety of deers there and some birds species like parrots etc. There are not so many type of animals but though the place is very pleasant u can spend 3-4 hours there without getting bored. Try to bring some food on ur own if u r going with kids and family there are not much options available for pantry .

A decent park having various varieties of Deers. Monkies are wandering everywhere but the are not dangerous and doesnt harm anyone unless someone teases them. There are some lovely varieties of sparrows which really are eye catching. A crocodile and some peacock are also worth watching.If you visit Patiala, you must go there.

A mini Zoo for patialvies nd nearly residents. Good place for mini picnic with children but there are a lot of Jungle Monkeys so beware of these.

Park is OK. Situated on outskirts of patiala, near to shish mahal. Not so big. In fact its too small. Few cages full of deers. Park is surrounded by small forest full of monkeys. You will have to take care of your vehicle because of monkeys , specially if you are visiting on bike.

The Deer Park is situated on the Dakala road. It is just 5-6 kms away from the main city. It is open on all days except Saturdays. By paying a small fee anyone can visit the park. The best time to visit this park is between sunrise and sunset. The park has lush green grasses, shady trees of many varieties and a long water body. It is a fine place to find peace because it is situated well outside the city and is pollution free. Children simply love the place, especially watching the wild animals in their enclosures.
