I will give you one honest advice, never ever put your foot in Lithuainia and under no circumstances should you apply at this university if you want to keep your dignity and mental health.It is run by people thinking about one thing only - money. The country itself is a typical eastern european country where nobody smiles. People will ignore you if you speak English and not Lithuainian.Teachers are extremely rude, many are sexistic, unproffessional and unmotivated to teach. The years I spent in this university and in this awfully unfriendly country, are years I will never get back.Look for another option. Dont let yourself fall so low that you decide to study here. Medicine or Veterinary medicin, doesnt matter, just dont do it. Most classes are not serious, you will not gain enough clinical experience, and sometimes they will make you do things twice if they are in a bad mood.I have nobody to say thanks to after these 5-6 years. Im happy I made it through.

Very good medical university

LSMU is a university which has its roots of medical education firmly stuck in the 1980s. LSMU has given me a chance to be a doctor (for which I am gratefull) and having gone through the whole system I can safely say that this university has done a huge injustice to its international student body. The international students in the nursing and occupational therapy faculties have been neglected and robbed of their money. The medical faculty has let down the trust of many international students by providing educational opportunities to local students which are on par with univeristies else where in the world, whilst forgien students (who bring in most of the universitys income) get little to no practical expsoure nor acedemic guidance or aid to help them excel as potential future doctors.Blaming the language barrier has become a cliché excuse given by the management of this university as the reason for this divide but how can a univeristy be granted the legal right to teach medicine in a forgien language if it cant provide equal standards for both courses. I believe LSMU has a lot to prove still and requires a top to bottom shake down and needs tomove forward with a stronger drive to see all students as equals. Thank you to all the professors and other staff members who have noticed these injustices and tried thier best to make the educational experience whilst in LSMU a little more bareable.

I’m not sure if the University supports the homophobic attitudes of their professors, I would think not. I’ve reached out to LSMU regarding the homophobic email an assistant professor wrote. I’m hoping action will be taken to sensitize such people. No one should ever be made to feel less than. I just hope none of his LGBTQI students face discrimination.

I never recommend this for university. These people are quite unprofessional and just lying and they want money and will put you in trouble. One of the worst and very greedy employees. They do not just offer education to sell. Lithuania is a poor and small country and the university is in the city of Kaunas. Like the village. Russian origin and the worst people. Cheating and greedy and worst and illiterate staff.

It is one of the fraud universities in Lithuania. I will not recommend anyone to this university at all. Warning is not a fool.
