Although it seems like a lot of facilities are provided here but it could have been better if it is connected to a good city with all necessary facilities like hotel , restaurant , etc. and there are too much flies in the station. It also provides parking lot, waiting area , help desk, etc. Allover it is a good railway station.

Good place for boarding a train

Small but very nice station. Food court, stall, book stall etc available. Platform is very big and clean with sitting chairs.

Neat and clean station ... Escalators are installed in this station recently ... Waiting hall available here ... Taxi stand outside station ... People generally from Himachal reach here for broad gauge railway ... Nvery near to International border .. Earlier this station called as Chakki Bank. Tourist those who want to visit Kangra Valley , Dharamshala , Palampur , Baijnath left train on this station.

3 platforms and two entries actually,one is typical from main gate when you come from highway crossing busstand,but if you really want to go early to bus stand or nearby,walk though platform and go til the pavement is there ,once you teach the end,go down and you can see the autos available at the left side which will directly take you to bus stand ,this route is better compared to main gate where charges are higher and too crowded.

One of the major railway station of northern railways. Rajdhani express, humsafar express stop here. Majorly meant for the movement of army.

Last time i traveled through train this station is under some repairing work hope for completion before next trip.

Small station not many trains also for boarding the trains you have to go to the Pathankot junction station, ac waiting hall not upto the mark, no cloak room, only thing is availability of autos for going to the bus stand and Pathankot junction. Lack of shade in scorching summer might be an issue.

Good option if you are going to the north! there is a taxi stand right outside and they have fixed prices!

Average railway station, lacking basic amenities though Cleanliness was good. Not even a good canteen or resturant available, waiting rooms were not well maintained.

Visiting in the winter season, its terribly cold, but lovable climate !

Approx every train stopped here except “VandeBharat” and its a bad idea of Indian Railway bcoz its a only railway station which connects Northern HP or tourist destination like Dalhousie Khajjiar and Sach Pass And it is also one of the biggest Base for Indian Army. Overall it’s a good station which is near to NH , cafeteria not so good here but outside of this Station you find delicious food😋👍Okk and last Happy Journey 🙌😌

No cloak room. The so-called AC waiting hall is bad with dirty washrooms. Being closer to tourist spots, basic facilities must be improved.

Very Clean station in punjab, tracks are clean, the platform is shining clean, some construction is going or nay be they are expending it but still beautiful, and quite place as compare to others crowded stations.

I visit pathankot cantt railway station and it looks like abandoned, cafeteria has been shut down permanently, u ll nt get a cup of tea, positive side is it toilets are clean(kaam chalau clean)and a book store is there so u get sm books to kill ur time

I was traveling from Bhopal to Himachal so when I entered in that particular area I was like what some one is there who is maintaining or cleaning that area

As of today, 27-Apr-2017, Pathankot Cantt station is clean, restroom are working. Jan Ahaar the food service at station is providing the quality food. Sitting arrangement are excellent.

All basic amenities missing. All approach roads unworthy. Lot has been promised for upgrading the stations. It will take three/four years for doing the needful.

Its a station with all basic (mind it am telling basic) facilities the washrooms are dirty even are you paying money, and next there is no cloack room, and the waiting hall is for only sitting, and janahar the only reason I gave this station 3 star, food quality is super and prices are average.

Earlier it was known by the name CHAKKI BANK RAILWAY STATION. Due pathankot as its main city many visitors got confused by itz name chakki bank. So a decision was taken by govt to change the name as PATHANKOT CANT instead of chakki bank. So that peoples got their exact location. It is main hub to connect himachal travellers, j&k and punjab with our capital NEW DELHI and all others states as well. There are now two station in this area 1.) pathankot city2.) Pathankot cant. Facilities like BOOKING OFFICE, TAXI SERVICES, JAN AHAR, HOTELa all are availavle NEARBY THIS STATION.Hope u will njoy the journey here. JAI HIND.
