Wow, it was jam-packed tonight!This has been so far the best all you can eat Korean Buffet Restaurant weve been to. If Koreans eat here.. it must be to their approval. Reasonably priced for everything they serve. Underground Parking available.

You pay for everything in unlimited the samgyeopsal, side dishes, vegies and even other viands. So if you want to indulge its the place to be. They refill everything asap so no one has to ask anymore that an item is out. The staff are friendly and assists well. We were just a little lost in finding out way up to the resto. They also have korean icecreak that you can indulge after the heavy eating though this is boughy separately.

According to a blog one of the best samgyeopsal buffet in Metro Manila.My first and second time eating in Matgalne, there are only a few customers in other tables but my recent visit, the restaurant was full and even after 8 pm there are customers arrived to eat.I am very thankful I had my reservation for two near buffet area because other tables are sharing with other customers but dont worry they have their own grilling pan. You can still go there as a walk-in customer but I advise that you have your reservation if you will eat there as a group. If you went in Matgalne few years ago you know that there are only few customers during weekdays.When it comes to food, I like it more because you dont have to ask anymore to have a sliced meat from the waiter because they already have buffet table for meat and there are lots of choices of ready to grilled meat, like pork belly (liempo) and marinated pork belly.My only problem here is the air ventilation, expect it that if you go to eat before you go to work (if you are in a graveyard shift) everybody knows you ate samgyeopsal because of your smell 😂😂😂. Compare to one of the buffets in a mall that you can still go shopping after eating and grilling meat. In addition, I had a problem when other tables had a lot of foods grilled at the same time because of the smokes that stays inside that affects my breathing.

I love this Korean buffet restaurant. It is always not crowded! Foods are good, yummy and so affordable! Unli pork for only php 350 at lunch! Whenever I crave for Korean food specially veggies, my friends and I go here! One of my faves!

What I love about Matgalne compared to the typical unli samgyeopsal restos is that they have korean buffet offering lunch or dinner, and cooking on the (table) grill of either beef or pork is just one of the options of the buffet, you get more value with varied korean dishes for almost always the same price! And yes theyre yummy to the tummy!

Since the renovations, the selection has decreased and the format has followed the trend of most mainstream Korean barbecue restos. I used to love going here with their wide selection which was more than your moneys worth. Thats kinda gone now.

Food is good. Nothing out of the ordinary that makes it stand out from other Korean restaurants though. The venue has no exhaust and has poor ventilation as we (my companions and I) walked out smelling strongly like smoke and grilled food. Also, the built in stoves did not have ample covering under the table as my companion kept on accidentally hittting some hot surface underneath. Overall, it was a neutral experience. It satisfied my craving enough though.

Its not exactly a trip to Seoul, if you know what I mean. At best, it is a place to stuff yourself.The food itself was quite satisfactory. Ambience was utilitarian, to put it nicely. For a Korean grill, its ventilation is poor. Our eyes stung all throughout our stay.There were certain corners that cast doubt on the cleanliness of the place (try not to look up at the ceiling in the middle of your meal), and the overall worn look on its furniture attests to many years of bellies being filled. Why the owners never spruced up the place is anyones guess.

Its affordable and super yummy! Yes, youll smell like smoke and barbecue afterwards but who cares right? ^^ you get to eat chicken, prok and beef, different cuts and different sauces!

Korean Buffet for only 550 pesos at dinner time

I have been eating at the Ortigas branch for more or less 5 years now and I was very dissapointed yesterday when we had our company lunch the whole setup and place changed. No longer is the buffet island on the center so I can make my own bibimbap they completley removed it and it is also no longer self service. albeit there is now better exhaust for the smoke above the grill but that was the only plus. The place has lost its charm with the new changes to the interior it no longer feels like I am in a charming authentic Korean buffet. The new look tries to emulate all the other unauthentic and fake samgyupsal places poping up all over the place now that its really trending but it is also trying to be a classy joint which I really hate because I come to eat at a buffet not to be classy but to get my moneys worth stuffing my face full of food. its not meant to be classy!!! The staff was noticably having a really hard time keeping up with us the food they kept coming in tiny plates they only gave a small plate of a single side dish for a table of 6 people so having to get food from the other end was a real chore and everyone was digging in with their own spoon and chopsticks that was really akward the selection was poor unlike before and a lot of the side dishes that I really like were just no longer being served you have no choice they will give you what they want and what they only have. The time we went was 12-1 in the afternoon It was lunch time and the place was empty asides for 2 other tables it used to be always packed during lunch time. It makes no sense they also removed the bigger tables and can now sit less people. Whoever came up with the idea of changing your once perfect buffet setup should be ashamed of themselves. I am sad to say that I will no longer be returning or recommending your place anymore after the new changes. There is another place closeby that is inferior in quality but not a huge difference it retains the old style I will be going there instead.

The service and meat qualities have been changed since i tried it last October.. Also they are trying to play games after the first or second serving of the same plate.. Example.. oh beef slices out of stock from the supplier.. Or they delay the serving over the normal time

Food is great. I always come back because of the variety of good meat and the side dishes available. Definitely a little pricey compared to other k-bbq restos I have been to but worth it.

Had to ask 4x to refill the meat, was only served 1x of marinated meat, even if we asked for numerous times. Not well ventilated. All servers are in a hurry, its like a marathon inside. Although there were a loooot of sides, still a no.

Although a bit pricy at 500p a head its hella worth going to. Lots of choices in terms of meat and side dishes. Be prepared to have a difficult time getting a grab taxi though at peak hours. Recommend driving and parking there.PS come through when youre hella hungry and its more fun witha big group of people!

Food is okay , the place not crowded. The smoke coming from the barbeque can be irritating in the eyes though (mahapdi na). They do not have vacuum funnel to suck the suck (what normally korean barbeque resraurant should have). They also do not give birthday discount unlike other buffet resto

Food is okay and the meats for grilling are fresh. (sukiyaki cut beef, pork cutlets, marinated beef, pork and chicken). Vegetables for samgyosal are fresh as well. The variety of dishes available are good as well they have tender pig trotters, korean fried chicken, fried meat and fish, korean rice sushi, soups (fish cake and Korean miso kimchi), egg roll, sweetened potatoes, porridge, seafood onion pancake etc. If there are things to improve here I would say its the air conditioning and the cleanliness of the rest room. There are some annoying flies as well though the buffet area have some lit candles for repelling said bugs. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are craving Korean food.

Visited this place last month after a couple of years ago and i did not like the beef and pork bbq i thought i was chewing on a rubber i was very disappointed for the fact that not only price went up but they are using poor quality of meat to maximize their profit i was amazed that locals eating there did not complain at all i will not be going there any time soon thats for sure
