Okay food, Not the same Indo Chinese taste…Its not proper dining restaurant, more like take away and 4 tables for folks who wanna dine in here. Not very fancy, just like regular Chinese takeaway counter. So at times, it can be crowded. You have to order/Pay at the counter and if you check-in on FB, its 10% off.Food options are plenty including Indian cuisine and Indo- Chinese. We ordered Chicken Hakka noodles and a chicken lollypop. Now who is total familiar with chicken lollypop back in India, it was totally different. It was more like chicken deep fry without batter. So I was disappointed with that. Even Hakka noodles came with same chicken pieces. Taste wise it was okay. The portion was enough for 2 people.Price was its bit expensive now ( they have increased it by $3). Chicken lollypop’s price is same as goat fry/shrimp fry. Never seen anywhere. We did not try Indian cuisine. Overall okay. Can go once.

HAPPY FRIED-DAY! I had to get something fried on this most beautiful day of the work week to celebrate the approaching weekend! I pass Carrot all the time and wanted to give it a try today. I decided on the Chili Chicken since Im not shy around hot and spicy foods. I used Grub Hub to order online and the order tracker was way off so the restaurant was kind enough to try calling me to say the food had been ready for a long time. Next time, Ill just call my order in. That doesnt factor into my review because its not, to my knowledge, the restaurants fault. The food was still hot (temperature-wise) when I picked it up so I am not sure if they kept it warm for me but if so, that is very much appreciated. The dish is actually an appetizer but the portion was enough for a more than modest lunch. I wish Id known about the lunch specials because Id have probably ordered that instead (you get more bang for your buck- all lunches are served with flavored basmati rice and include a bottled water or soda for $9.99...not a bad deal!) Anyhow, back to the Chili Chicken, which is deep fried chicken sautéed with onions, bell peppers and green chilies. If you like it hot and spicy, this is your appetizer. I wasnt quite aware of just how spicy it would be. My tolerance is pretty high, but just be warned its close to five alarm, in my tastebuds opinion. The flavor is great though and as I said, its a sizeable dish! The fact that the restaurant is very small and bare bones somehow gives it more authenticity, maybe because to me, it means they are more focused on the quality of their food than the frills. For you vegetarians out there (I was veg for nearly 8 years) they have a nice selection of menu items! I look forward to my next visit. There are many items on the menu that appeal to me. Just make sure you call instead of ordering online or just order at the counter window when you get there, and youll be set. This place is definitely more of a takeout joint. Cool little spot here!

I love the food here. although not Indo-Chinese, it still is unique and tasty. Try the fried rice if you want Indochinese, o get the biryani if you want a traditional Indian meal. They provide a wide selection of foods, suiting every taste there can possibly be. Reminds me of restaurants in India. The package may be small, but the goods never cease to please!

The food in this place is delicious and loaded with flavor just the way i like it. The service is sometimes slow during the weekends but when your taste buds are satisfied it is well worth the wait! The staff is warm and welcoming and can make changes to your dish when you request for it with respect to the spice level which is important. This place is a must visit for its lip smacking noodles, fried rice and flavorsome appetizers. In short, a good experience.

I wouldn’t deny saying that I ordered quite a number of times and the thing which got me to repeat was the quantity and location close to my house . But I regret my decision as everything comes later and first is the quality , I don’t recommend if you are really a health or hygiene conscious and moreover the item you ordered and what you get wouldn’t be what ideally you look for but still you end up eating thinking taste is ok and quantity is good .Only when I realized that how much harm will the wrong food pattern or unhealthy cooking will cause is when I put a direct full stop to it . I don’t mind paying 2 to 3 $ more as quality comes at a cost . I leave your experience and decision to you but another reason for my negative remark is if you try to pass on feedback thinking it’s fairly new and will appreciate it doesn’t work .

First off, this is one of the best decorated take-out style restaurants I have ever seen. With faux brick walls and laminated, rich wood tables, it is as cozy as a pizza tavern and very clean. The mountain of schezwan style chicken fried rice Im mining away at is equally fresh - not oily or salty or burdened with fatty meat. The rice is delicate long grain, the dry seasoning is peppery and satisfying, with enough veggies to hydrate the dish. And I dont know what the orange smoothie had in it (papaya, mango?) but it was earthy, fragrant, and fresh.Im glad this is on the way to work right off 287. I will Make this a ritual for (and then dinner) here often. Awesome!

Dont try it.~Fried Rice- 4/10 They had used frozen veggies in it and some of them were raw.~Hakka Noodles- 4/10 The noodles were overcooked. They were white in color. It looks like the chef forgot to add soy sauce in it.#Staff- 3/10 It a self service restaurant. The staff had charged us $10.99 for Gobi Manchurian where as the price for Gobi Manchurian was 9.99 in the menu. When we enquired about the price difference they confidently said all the Manchurians have the same priceWhen we showed them the menu they said okay, and rudely gave back 1$ which we refused to take.**They served us food in chipped plates and bowls. -**#Ambience- 4/10 Nothing Great. Was fine initially during the take outs , seemed reasonable price wise and taste wise was OK.Few days back , ordered 2 sets of noodles and the next day while i took it out of the refrigerator , was smelling terribly.Seemed STALE and Spoilt !!. I called them up right away and got different arguments . First one guy comes on the phone and mentions that they prepare the noodles the prior day and used it by next day. Then the next person says that other restaurant folks are spoiling their name. Excuse me , I am speaking to you as an individual who got served stale and spoilt food not talking of other reviews here!!. The worst is yet to come .Then the person on the phone says that he has contacts in Google and he got to know who put bad reviews for him. REALLY !!! Google are you listening .Looks like some special privacy setting exists for Carrot from Google!!The worst KICKER is yet to come . He then puts me on the phone to another person who then tells me that if we picked milk from COSTCO and Shoprite and go home by Food standards , we should not drink them and throw them away . And by the same argument it is not surprising if the food i just picked up got spoilt .Then he tells me that my cars A/ C might be bad and hence in the 10 mins i drove home the food would be spoilt . WOW !! I never had this experience with ANY restaurant and such lame excuses, vehement push backs with really dumb and defensive arguments. Then he tells me that maybe some spoilt cabbage got mixed in the Veg noodles and is hard to weed out all the veggies.WOW whatever happened to Food standards. This seemed like a Hole in the wall restaurant , but never knew the quality was this bad that they serve spoilt and stale food To prove my point I drove up to them and showed them the food which was barely touched . Rather than being a bit apologetic, they argued with me and turned me away. Glad that we did not get sick by eating it, but got the taste of a real experience of what a BAD customer service is along with some spoilt Food. Also noticed that they have a fairly elaborate menu but most items are ready in 5 Mins. How ? my guess is that they are all pre cooked and ready to be mixed and served and hence the lack of freshness. Also noticed that the chicken in noodles seems like pre-made breaded chicken and not freshly cooked strips .- Points to ponder ?? May not be that everyone faced this and feels this way, but, the way they dealt with a regular customer really made me feel that I should never go to this place again. They just lost another customer and would never go there again. Some serious lapses in food safety and absolute lack of customer service.
