They are a big scam. They will take all your money and will not provide you with anything. Especially if you are from South Asia. You wont learn French and you will never get even an internship. They will use covid as a reason to ruin your future. If you want to come to Paris, please please look for another college like Esmod. If you look carefully you will see most of the reviews are from people who never ever been to France. IFA is great at marketing but let me tell you the truth, we live in bigger houses in our countries in South Asia than this school. There are like 5-6 roooms and they call it a school. Also no one will give you job based on IFA degree in Parecognised anywhere and God forbid there is another lockdown, they will not give you any internship letter. And in France you cant get any internship without the school letter. Please choose another institution m IFA is a big scam

If I had a choice I wish my family and I had absolutely nothing to do with this school! My daughter studied here for a month in January and due to extreme health issues for my daughter, and a family death we had to fly her back to America. The school has been extremely uncooperative with even offering a partial-refund. This school cares about money that is it! We now have wasted thousands of euros, only for my daughter to not be able to attend due to circumstances we could not control, just for the school to refuse to help us get back the money in anyway. They offered her a chance to come back but that will not be possible with her health issues. Staff is rude and unfriendly. If I could I would tell as many people NOT TO ATTEND! Save your money because they do not care if a crisis happens! Never have dealt with a ruder school!

I am pursuing MBA Luxury Brand Management from IFA Paris and the environment of the campus is quite international. The teachers are humble and well experienced and the lectures are not just theoretical but practical as well. The school is very good concerning the learning atmosphere and the relation between teachers and students. You always have the impression that the teachers really want to help you in order to succeed in your passion. An other point is that the lectures are real professionals and often have a huge knowledge about the industry and how thinks are going on at the moment. Also most of the students are very open-minded and welcome so that it is good environment to learn and life at the campus. It is a bit sad that IFA is not that high ranked by the famous fashion websites.

IFA Paris is much more than I expected, with its diverse classrooms and amazingly selected lecturers that bring so much knowledge and passion for their respective courses. Its really quite infectious. I am already very amazed at how much I have learned in just one month, and Im definitely looking forward to the next 15 months!

Maybe I am asking for too much but all I can say is the reputation claimed by the school is ONLY applicable to the Paris campus. Notice that even the students works in the Shanghai campus is not really exposed as to compare to the Paris campus. I may not be the best student there is but I think I still deserve better considering all the name and fame the school claim to have on the internet. With much dismay and disappointment, I am really appalled by IFA Paris Shanghai and how your organisation managed the graduation show that was held on the 14th June 2018.Let me introduce myself, I moved from Raffles Design Institute Shanghai to IFA Paris with hopes that this school is better in managing the education system, together with the well-being of its students knowing the amount of school fees that we pay. However, after what happened to me in the fashion show and the way school treated me, somehow I feel that IFA Paris in Shanghai IS A DISSAPOINMENT and with the series of events that happened, I am embarrassed to recommend this school to anyone from the Shanghai student communities I am in, EVER.From my knowledge and understanding, the graduation fashion show that IFA held in Florentia Village at 14th of June 2018 is NOT A COMMERCIAL SHOW and it is indeed a GRADUATION FASHION SHOW as its written in the board, meaning all of the students get the right to show their work or contribute more to our show since it is our show and the school show. I thought all of us deserves to show our work to the guest for at least one garment and what happened to me is NONE OF MY GARMENT WAS SHOWED and SCHOOL DIDN’T EVEN LET ME KNOW in advance nor no notice has been given before the show so I can be prepared if my garment is not up for the show.I am mortified and angry by how IFA’s lecturer treated me ( and mind you, IFA Paris website clearly state *quote* ‘To enable students to achieve their best results, the IFA Paris faculty addresses the individual needs of each student. Beyond sharing their extensive experience and teaching students the requisite theory and technical skills, our lecturers also pass on invaluable personal traits which are enthusiasm, passion and confidence.’ )yet from what I saw and experienced yesterday, it was nothing from what IFA’s website claimed. I was called by one of your hired staff/lecturer, that I was being dramatic for ASKING ABOUT MY GARMENTS AND MODELS when Emmanuel (PMD Teacher) said that he stayed up all night to organize the whole show which I really truly appreciate. After the realisation that my garments were not on the rack, I went around looking through every single list I can find to make sure I have the model card BUT IT WAS NOT even on the list ( where the school didn’t even bother to let me know during the model fitting session so that I can be prepared. ) I confronted Emmanuel about my garments but he said he doesn’t know where it was despite STAYING UP ALL NIGHT TO ORGANIZE THE WHOLE SHOW.This fashion show is such a MESS which shows how bad is the quality of the school, the show was not ORGANIZED and didn’t even include the student to be called up to the stages to show that we are part of IFA. I am feeling embarrassed to ask my family and friends to come all the way from Indonesia with hopes to be able to see one of my collection.In conclusion, I feel I should’ve not come to IFA and continue my study in Raffles instead because Raffles is so much better on managing this kind of problem and they wouldn’t not show their students work even though it is so bad. A school should be proud of their students work but this doesnt reflect in IFA. A school should guide their students with a lot of participation not just leave the students without any further information.Best regards,

Ive only been here in Paris for a month, but Im already incredibly happy with IFA and the city in general. I expected a lot before I came here, and the school has already exceeded my expectations. All the lessons are taught from the beginning, and although its quite fast-paced and theres a fair amount of workload, theyre extremely enjoyable and the lecturers guide us students very well. The school is in a convenient location, close to metro stations, bus stops, and supermarkets. Its also by the river so the environment is calming. The campus is great—its not so huge, but thats what makes it feel more energetic, and you already have everything you need in there. The school helps us out a lot about everything, especially about life in Paris. My classmates really come from all over the world and I love how were learning about fashion while getting to know each other as well. Also, its currently PFW and the IFA Student Office has already put us in contact with lots of companies for internships. Im going to intern for Elie Saab this season, and Im over the moon. I feel so lucky to be able to be here.

I graduated from IFA Shanghai campus in 2017 with Bachelor of Design and Technology degree. I really enjoyed my time studying at IFA and I learn a lot there.I felt like I got the best teachers ever from the first year until my last year. The students in the school are truly international and the professors are indeed industry professionals. Paris is a great city to explore and learn about fashion and there are many opportunities if you speak French. Having done my undergrad in a top private, liberal arts college in the U.S. where a lot of the schools services/departments were catered to the students (because of the hefty price tag), IFA offers a more laissez-faire atmosphere where you gotta be in control of your studies to succeed. In respect to the MBA in Global Fashion Media, I think the course as per term 1 goes, aligns thoroughly with the course objective on IFAs website. This year, we are a class of 9 and its quite fantastic as we have already gotten an opportunity to lead a communications plan for a international fashion initiative which is amazing and aligns with our course. Also, the school is partnered with an agency that helps you to settle down into Paris (phone, bank account, accommodation), so you have someone to hold your hand when youre this close to pulling out your hair due to the French bureaucratic process and love of paperwork!

As an IFA graduate (Bachelor of Fashion Marketing, 3-year program), I can say that the teachers are true fashion professionals that are able to give real life examples which made learning very practical and useful. Especially with applying this knowledge for our internship that we undertook. Do note that the university requires us to find our internships on our own. Throughout my time at IFA, the administration and organisation of the school was lacking a certain level of professionalism. There were times when classes got cancelled an hour before class was supposed to begin and the administration was unable to answer questions concerning this somewhat unpredictable class timetable. Most recently, the university administration made a mistake at my expense. I flew to Paris for my graduation, only to find out that they forgot to put me on the list of graduates and told me that I was not welcome to even come in for the ceremony to see my fellow friends graduate. To my disappointment, the administration put zero effort to support and help me in what should have been a milestone moment in my life. I do hope that they will improve their administrative professionalism in the future because IFA has really good teachers and I’d like to see the school go far.

Personally, I really love IFA paris, the courses are very intensive. Wich for me is great. If any boby were to come I would definately recommend them to try at least to inform themselves on very basics about fashion. Because the courses being so intensive they will not spend tiime on basic aspecs that you should pretty much figure out yourself if you are somehow interested in fashion.One of the things that surprise me the most about the school methodology is how open the teachers are and how truly interested they are on making sure you find your true space in any fashion context, they will never set rules that are useless or unreal in the actual work. They really will not force a student to adopt a maniere rather they push you to do whats the best for you. For me this is splendid.And then what is REALLY awesome is how dedicated the student office is to help you develop experience riht from the beggining. In our case fashion week came 2 weeks after we began our academic first year, and right two weeks after begging me and most of my classmates were already working at some internship in fashion week. I did Rick Owens my self, I can say with my hand on my heart that Im not close to be the same as I was before this experience. Its so inspiring and eye opening. At least from what Ive heard from other raduated designer friends and fashion students, other schools dont actually help so much with the internships.

I really like the reviews of this college and i would like to ask if i apply for a scholarship and i dont get accept, can i still apply for a normal program?

After being in two different fashion design schools, I am really happy to have chosen IFA. The place is open and the layout is refined which gives less the impression of being in class.
