Lovely South Indian Restaurant, They have outer door sitting , Indoor and underground sitting arrangements. Very nice ambience and delicious food. I loved the Platter combos it’s cheaper and tastier. Here are some dinner combo set I had for 159 ! It was a amazing experience

Nice place in Stockholm for Indian vegetarian foods. Specially south Indian dosa that I eat was awesome 👌. Delicious Sambhar, Coconut 🥥 Chutney and Dosa is worth eating. Ambience in the down stairs was nice with pleasant fragrance of heritage Indian Agarbati. It will give you a nice spiritual and pure feeling to eat the food you order. Service is good, people are friendly and good. But the Food is Okay Quantity is quite low as per the price. Wouldnt want to go there again. Very basic food, presentation of food is also not good. Too pricey according to the food quality and quantity.

Really awesome food and nice and helpful waiters. The food comes within 10 - 15 minutes and in generous portions. I would recommend the masala tea as a drink too. The restaurant space has seating areas upstairs and downstairs although with there is only one toilet downstairs. Its a nice space for small groups and is really cozy. Totally recommend

It was the worst experience, I had ever had sat for 1 h after giving order and no food. After asking they said they are preparing and it will come in 5-10 minutes. After that also nothing came. Then a guy came and said they forgot our order and asked if we can repeat whatwas our order.No value of time , no politenesss, I am surprised how people have given such nice reviews.

If you are craving for good South Indian food then this is the place for you !! You will get different types of Dosa here..we tried Mysore masala dosa and rava masala dosa which was good.

Good place for trying an authentic South Indian fare.The sambar which is made up of a mix of spices, vegetables, lentils made like a soupy broth, is a must have.Their Saravana experience is a must try if youre visiting. But bear in mind youll have little space left for more.Their filter coffee or Madras coffee is a must have, but make sure you mention to get the sugar separately, and not premixed.Pro-seating-tip: dont sit next to the window as your food and youll get very cold as the windows are not double glazed.

Good place serving authentic south indian cuisine ..Excellent taste!But, telling me that they have run out of idlis and coffee powder for the day ...when I wanted to eat idlis and have a cup of coffee ..dampened my mood a bit ..but the cup of tea ...really made up for it ..smoking hot and just as tasty & refreshing !!

I would give zero star if I could. I’m surprised with all the highly positive comments . Food has absolutely NO flavor. If you expect this to be similar to the Chennai Saravana bhavan, run in the opposite direction . Don’t be fooled by 4.1 stars. You will be disappointed quickly .

Classic Sarvana Bhawan, those who know they know.This one delivers exactly what you expect and need and then some more.I had the SB combo that comes with everything ( vada, idli, Dosa and unlimited Sambhar and Chatni). You are going to want more Sambhar as it is spot on, flavor and spices are just so good. I topped it up with Filter coffee which had just the right about of sugar. I loved everything here.If the food was not enough, the service is even better. I met Rakhel who is just so charming and will take great care of you. While I was there, I saw him chatting with all the guests and share so much info. He was constantly aware of everyones need in this small and very cozy joint.10 out of 5 stars, this place is just amazing. I have just arrived in the city and I was ecstatic when I found out that there is a SB in stockholm.I would be a regular here.

We tried a bunch of food, I dont remember what half of it was. I much enjoyed the Chilly paneer which I thought was the best dish. The Palak paneer however was really bland compared to other palak paneers Ive had. Smooth spinach soup with paneer sums it up pretty well :( The nan breads are tasty, but also very thin. Overall, pretty average. Also, we recieved one of the starters and then another (five minutes later) and then the next dish (after ten more minutes) and so on. Beware if kitchen is busy (I guess). Its fine if youre a pack of hungry wolves that are ok with sharing tho, lol :)

Ambience is ok. Food was average. Visited first time as I heard too much about them but its just one time visit. Will try something else if I go again not masala dosa. Thats not authentic what we got.

Pretty decent south Indian restaurant in stockholm with good dosas and idlis. The best deal i have found is the saravana combo which should be plenty for one. Ocerall a good exeperience.

This is the one of the best indian food i taste when i am in stockom especially the variety dosha, medhu vada sambar and coconut chutni.Especially Thanks for giving a wounderfull memory surely i Will visit again. Special thanks to the teams and the management.

DONT Go here.. period.. the food was ridiculously costly and coconut chutney had a bad smell.. while complaining they didnt even care.. they said the smell is just fine and no one complained except you..they never took it seriously ... apart from that ambience is good and service was average.. very close to metro ..better try out some other south indian restaurant and i would not go here ever... Very disappointed after going there -We did not get what we ordered. We ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, which was not at all what it should have been. The sambhar did not taste like it does at a good Saravaana Bhavan restaurant.The North Indian cuisine there is terrible and highly disappointing! We ordered a lot of food for take-away, after eating at the restaurant. However, we unfortunately did not verify the contents of it before walking away from the restaurant. It was only when we reached home, that we saw that they had messed up our whole order:1) Kela (banana) vada, instead of Medhu vada (How would that feel?! A sweed vada instead of a salty vada made from lentils and rice!!),2) Daal fry instead of Daal Makhani (I know that most of the Indian restaurants in Sweden disappoint us on this. So, I made sure to ask the waiter if they made Dal Makhani using the black full lentils, which is what is used in the authentic dish. The waiter said that they did use black lentils. Despite that, they gave us the regular daal fry with yellow lentils),3) Baingan (Aubergine/Eggplant) curry, instead of Baingan Bharta. The latter is made by grilling and smoking aubergine, which is then mashed up and cooked with Indian spices. However, they gave us Baingan ki sabji, with hardly any baingan in it,We ordered Chhole bhature. However, the Chhole (chickpeas) curry was very very disappointing!! The gravy for all the curries that we ordered was basically the same.We ordered Saravaana special thaali. In the menu it says Gulab jaamun for dessert, which are deep fried brown-colored balls of flour, soaked in sugar syrup. They gave us halwa (which was not really a halwa) instead. They should have at least alerted us that they would provide with some different constituents than was mentioned in the menu.The curries in the thaali were burnt (they has a burnt taste and smell, although they did not look burnt).To the restaurant: If you cannot serve good and authentic North Indian cuisine, I would recommend removing them from your menu.The chai (Indian tea, cooked with milk) was terrible.The waiter was not very receptive of the orders, and was having a hard time understanding what we ordered!I will not recommend anyone to go to this particular place at all!! Very very disappointed! For a chain restaurant worldwide, such a poor service is least expected.

Overrated South Indian food, average dosas and mediocre sambar (more of general curry than traditional sambar) and chutneys, no where close to authentic South Indian food.One of the worst and racist services, you will get attention if you are a Swede/White or a South Indian and speak the language otherwise be prepared for delayed service and long wait for your orders even if you came early than others and they may forget to bring the refills as well!It has been a trend in general with this kind of staff behavior in Sarvana Bhawan here in general (have had the same experience in Kista one as well, better food than St. Eriksplan one though) .The only plus point this one has is its nice location!!

Friendly enough staff, but they seem to lack a system/method of addressing their customers. My friend and I also found the menu ... cumbersome to read (for a lack of a better word). I noted other patrons not getting what theyd ordered (ex. one drink instead of one drink each, the second one never showing up even after theyd pointed it out).

Overrated as South Indian food destination, tiny vada, ordinary Idlis, watery chutney & badly made weak and milky filter coffee. I make better in my kitchen. Disappointing visit.

Its a good option for vegetarians. We had ordered GheeRoast Masala Dosa and MeduVada. Both the dishes were served with Sambhar and two chutneys (coconut chutney) Dosa was really fresh and crisp, and as the name suggests, it was nicely roasted in good amount of ghee. I found it quite big for a single person to finish. I really liked the sambhar(though they serve sambhar in small portions, but you can get a refill).The place was neat and clean. The decor and ambience at Sarvanna Bhawan will make you feel like you are back in India.

Incredibly good! The recommendation I got of this place from a friend was so glowing that I kinda wanted to disbelieve it, but this is the best Indian food experience Ive had since that trip to India itself. Photos show #156, a mini-menu of sorts, and it was more than enough for even a big guy. Its slightly less spicy than in India, but still with enough bite to be really good; certainly more than normal Swedish Indian food, and youll meet plenty of tastes here that are hard to find in Stockholm otherwise. To cap it off, service is very prompt and friendly (English default language), the venue is new and fresh (Jan 2019) with 15-20 seats on ground floor and about 30 one floor down, and the prices are very reasonable. I can absolutely recommend a visit! 😊

I will rate our experience to the place as below average as food was cold, tasted bad and service too was very poor. We even asked the waiter to change the food as it was not edible to which he declined and said we can give you a take away bag but cant replace or cancel the order. We never plan to visit the restaurant again and highly recommend not to order chilli paneer.

UberEats order at over 600 kr delivered incomplete. Over phone no offer to rectify. Had to physically drive to restaurant to receive missing items. Rude and apologetic reception by the staff, who thought that completing the order in itself was compensation for the fact that the rest of the order was stone cold and soggy by the time I returned home with the missing items.Regardless of the food quality at Saravanaa; with this lack of customer service, and negligent treatment of repeat customers, I will not spend another krona at this establishment. If the management are willing to reach out and make good on our experience, then feel free to get in touch.

Summary: decent food but bad service.They forgot part of our order and there was a loud phone in the kitchen ringing for like 2 minutes which disrupted conversations. But the food was pretty good, shame it was partially ruined by the staff forgetting our bread and drink we ordered and not picking up the ringing phone. Additionally 2 of us ordered the same dish and when they arrived they were clearly different dishes. Additionally the staff had difficulties communicating in both English and Swedish.

Ordered medhu wada, rava masla dosa and mysore dosa. Well presented and tasty food. Enjoyed it.
