Stopped in for dinner. Had to move inside due to a short lived rain shower. The food was outstanding! I had the Salmon and my friend had the rigatoni. The service was poor in a country where food service is an art. We had to flag down a waitress for a second round of beers and I couldnt get second wine or any water. But the food was good.

The place looks amazing, the staff is very friendly and nice and the music was pretty good. However my cocktail (p.rnstar Martini) was terrible and I felt like throwing up on my way home... My friends seemed happy enough with their cocktails though.

Pricey for similar selection elsewhere, but good food regardless; I had the burger and was impressed beyond what I would expect from any other burger in Paris (or even the states for that matter). The pasta with shaved truffle was exquisite as well. Seemed kind of dead at dinner time, but maybe it was just a slow night. Our waiter was excellent, professional, and very kind to us as well. Overall an exceptional Dining experience.

So my friend and I decided to check out there area not expecting to spend more than one drink at the initial bar. Then we met Camille who made me the single best Expresso martini and Amaretto Sour Ive had in my life. He was both friendly, spoke fluent English and was a reason to stay. One of the best bartenders in Europe IMO.

Disappointing. Food was mediocre except the ceviche. Service was very good. I feel that this restaurant is somewhat pretentious and I felt it from the moment I got in there. A place with good food doesnt need an unusual sculpture in the center of the restaurant, it has the food to speak for itself. I think that because the restaurant is owned by a renowned chef (whom Ive never heard of) it gets too much credit, one of which it does not deserve. Will not recommend.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good. Green beans were a surprise hit with everyone, including two kids. We ate late night, and had carpaccio, sea bass and the pasta.

A good upbeat brasserie .Meal was okay. Steamed salmon was forgotten, but very nice waitress did her best to hurry the kitchen, it was over seasoned but friends who had fish and chips said their food was bland

Really good food and ambience, steak tartare is really good, goat cheese croquettes and the entrecot are also really good.

Germain is definitely a must visit in Paris. The food is delicious (on the menu youll find dishes from cheeseburgers till scallops), the service is fantastic and the interior is incredible!Drink mojito’s with your friends in the lounge upstairs (and discover the face of the huge sculpture Sophie), have a memorable dinner in the restaurant or plan a business meeting in the luxury private cinema.

You won’t be seated unless you are going to eat but the bar is quite cool and the music is nice

We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and thought this place looked inviting. Initially enjoyed the food, even if waitress brought salad, tuna Tatare and cheese plate all together ... poor timing...but food tasted great. Asked for 2nd glass of wine, never came, 3 requests for water!last straw? My husbands sirloin steak was supposed to be medium RARE came med well, loaded with FAT and ultra chewy- still cost 28 euros... mature d did not care! Go anywhere else! Paris has great food! Waitress and management could not have cared less!

It is not my first time there and i like the place nice deco, nice ambiance, good food. However tonight I was slightly disappointed by a) the food the food was lukewarm b) both of our fish dishes were under cooked c) we waited for ages for the desert menu despite asking for it 3 times d) we waited also fo a long to pay eventhough they had brought the check. This is on a thursday... It is still a nice place but they need to get their coordination together a bit more and cook the fish as it should or ask how you want it.

Fantastic service by friendly staff, great steak and dessert was beautiful! Atmosphere is lovely here, good music, comfy chairs, open light decor, we really enjoyed our evening at Germain.

Very disappointed by the service which was very slow, the food was cold, the waitress was rude.. the club is very weird as well.. it’s a small place where it’s super hot.. you have to check your coat for 2 euros and if you have two pieces in your coat be careful they will charge you 4 euros! Anyways waste of time and money over there !

Im a regular in this place and I must have missed the change of owner, tonight it was a disaster, a deplorable card, a catastrophic service from amateurs to a kid clientele.
