The Versailles of restaurants. The service is on point. All of the food was spectacular. Yet, somehow, the side salad was life-changing. It was so perfectly seasoned and so unexpectedly tasty that I cant wait to get home and try it myself. The signature dish is worth it. Get it. There is some show around it which is delightful. The steak is one of the best pieces of beef Ive ever had. The wine menu is very good. I suggest instead of the coffee which is a house blend and also brilliant you get the Sauternes with dessert and get a double whammy of sweet. The rose macaron is a wonderful take on a classical French dessert.
Sitting here right now… first morning in Paris. Our wedding anniversary. And it is so bad that I am writing the review😒☹️Such a beautiful interior and convenient location. And such awful service and even worse is the attitude to the visitors. Didn’t let people to sit downstairs inside. To wait to be sited upstairs the hostess offered to wait only outside! And was very unfriendly and arrogant. We waited around 30-40 minutes, got the table outside near the cashier desk, no interior, no attention, no paper menu, dirty napkin on the pot handle. Come on! no croissants!!!! at 11 am. And this place is not cheap at all. Very disappointing.
One of the best pastries You can have in Paris.Food in general it’s good also but nothing wow.Reasonable prices.I’ll be back
You will find lots of food options to choose from. For breakfast, I recommend the spinach omelet or French toast. For lunch, the croque madame, and for dinner, the pastry with mushroom sauce is fantastic. Make sure to save room for a wide range of tea options and macaroons. I recommend both the rose or strawberry sugar-frosted flavors.
A great place, wonderful tasteful desserts. Most importantly an incredibly nice staff.Highly recommended
My first love for french food started from Laduree Champs-Élysées, Paris. The seating was outdoors and I had one of the best macaroons, chocolate cake, Croissants and hot chocolate there. The best thing was I had no idea they were so awesome and was just hungry, found them on my way and there was NO wait so I ......How many times does that happen in life!
Average place, prices are high, service and decorations were good. I had the chicken club sandwich, hot chocolate and few macaroons . The sandwich was ok but the hot chocolate and macaroons were really good. I will come back to try more dishes.
Very cute cafe with some really great deserts and food. Little pricy but the food is worth it
I think Laduree over hyped. It’s good don’t get me wrong but it’s not wow. The food is mega expensive just be warned. They have some nice food though. Customer service is on the poor side. They packed our left over macaroons in a paper bag and they refused to give a box. They said you’d have to pay for a box! Seriously?? The macaroons were flat by the time we got home! The seating wasn’t brilliant. It’s was like on this outside bit. Best to reserve a table here if you want to have the nice seating upstairs.
These kinda places are so hard to judge because you go for the picture and to brag and show off you did and the consequence is good food and dining experience but nothing to stand out.Food: it is expensive don’t expect anything less. You don’t come here for the deals, they don’t exist. Food is good nothing to complain about. It’s not even grossly overpriced. The macaroons are softer or less crunchy which is nice so at least that was distinctive.Service/setting: our waiter was great but do expect to wait inside not just outside. They are in no hurry to get you outta there and that’s not a bad thing. It’s crowded but that’s normal for Europe and especially Paris fine dining.
Fantastic experience, the decor is extraordinary and the food was wonderful. Warren, our server, was very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend!
The place looks beautiful and the seating is nice, however it’s so overhyped. I got a hot chocolate and macaroons and personally didn’t enjoy them at all, hot chocolate tasted very bitter. I personally wouldn’t come here again.
This place gets busy but the line moved quickly assuming youre here to buy desserts. The macaroons are delicious. Honestly I thought going in whats the point they cant be much better than cheaper ones elsewhere. Not true. They were completely different than the half a dozen other places I tried. But that comes at a higher price sadly.
The very famous La Durée. Its a landmark right on Champs-Elysées boulevard. There is always a long line, but its worth trying it at least one.The macaroons were good and the price at a little over 2 euros each isnt too far from our local bakery store.Definitely worth trying this out and snapping a few pics.
Visited this location in Summer 2016. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Amazing selections of macarons and other baked good. A must visit !
The “take away” macaroons are the big attraction here. Their claim to fame is that they created the filling in the macaroon way back over a hundred year ago! Who knows, but I do know the macaroons are a true delight. We grabbed half a dozen and headed to the park with a bottle of wine and a Blanket to enjoy the afternoon. Photos May 2018.
In Paris, city of love had to try the famous cafe.Upon arriving for breakfast, the interior is beautifully crafted. The attendee greeted us in French with a smile but as soon as we sat down, we waited 30 minutes for service, mind you there were only 2 other tables seated. Meal came, pastries were spot on crunchy, buttery and sweetly satisfying. The pink latte with rose petals was delicious. Came to paying, not a single waiter/waitress seen, and this time waited 45 mins to get the bill to pay despite telling the front lady attendee. Was a funny situation to be in, imagine begging them to pay for their food lol.
The only reason this isn’t a 4 star is because of the extremely touristy customers. Across from us was a mother and children from America. They were shouting/playing loudly in the dining room and clearly disturbing the people nearby. It’s an incredible place with great food and interiors. All original interior decoration with beautiful details.
I have rated this store with 5 stars. They have the most delicious macaron i ever taste, even in the world. The texture is unbeliveable. It was worth to buy macaron for arround 2 euros each. I have been ate their branch in London, and the taste is also similar..Hopefully i can visit this store again wherever.
Went here quite a few times and every time the service and quality of items was great. They have place to sit inside and out and have room upstairs also. If you are picking items to go, hang a left as you enter, you will see area marked out for lines which do move quick. They have different styles of boxes to pick from especially if you are taking it for someone. They accept credit cards.
Blasted through Paris for a 5 hour stop over and my wife said I had to go here and buy Macaroons! No idea why?... However after making my way there and buying the macaroons and the flan and the chocolate eclair and the profiterols... Now I know why! Wow! A slice of heaven and a slice of history! My macaroon standard will never be the same again! Culinary magic!... and scored bonus points with the wife too arriving home with world famous treats!
The macaroons are very tasty! Every single flavor tastes really fantastic! The quality is great! You will like it.
A must-go place in Paris !Because of corona virus, I couldn’t enjoy my macarons inside but had to take-out.I highly recommend rose macaron, coffee and salted caramel.
If you are in Paris give this place a try. the place was busy but the place is big enough to seat plenty of people inside as well as outside. The location is near plenty of shops so for us it was a perfect stop and relax after shopping around. The first thing we tried was the macarons.Yes you can try them in many other places but this place has them fresh and you can taste the difference right away. We tried their coffee as well as other desserts and you can also take some to go.The server was pleasant and she let us be while we enjoyed the outdoor fresh air. She also spoke Both French and English so it was easy to communicate, and I tried to speak as much French as I can but it is limited. If you do not have time to seat and eat, you can go right in the shop and while the line moves pretty fast, you can pick sweets, coffee and pastries of your choice and take them for yourself.Yeah, I wouldnt want to share, but I did.You will be happy you stopped by this place, specially if you have a sweet tooth like I do.
I really love Ladurée but when it comes to hot or cold chocolate I completely prefer to drink either of both at the Ladurée Cafe at the Dubai mall. Apart from that I can only recommend it as a must go to while you are in Paris :)
Crowded but beautiful and tasty selection of bakery as well as macaroons. Staff were friendly and attentive. However couldn’t dine in with tea and sweets. Only for lunch.
Ive frequented a lot over the years in various locations- however my most recent visit was ridiculous. They made us wait in line despite the tea room being empty. Made a fuss about scanning our sanitary covid pass as well as checking the date and location ( when really all they have to do is scan the QR code to see if its valid) all before seating us. Then the staff was rude and cranky, slow, also very defensive about the fact that they offered no sugar free sweeteners at a coffee and tea shop. Lol
I came here around 2 years ago and loved the place. Today unfortunately was not as wonderful as the last visit. I didnt mind the 20 minute wait because I knew a place like this is popular. Typically, peolpe who go for teas and pastries go upstairs. Anyway, we were placed downstairs but our party was split into two separate tables because of capacity. Took a while to place the order, and even longer to receive the pastries and drinks. I ordered additional food twice and never received it. When the check came in, not only was the bill wrong (on both tables) but when I mentioned to the waiter I received attitude. Not sure if well make the trip while we are still here but the experience left a lot to be desired.
Some Minor glass damage done from last weekends protests but inside was wonderful. We got an eclair and macaroons to go. They speak all languages so don’t be afraid to get after your pastry desires. Yes it’s pricey but iconic.
Cant go wrong with Laduree! It is a must in Paris! but we ready for long lines espically at the Champs elysees location! The food and pastries as always on point and yummy!
When in Paris and want Macaroons & Lattes at midnight. This place definitely surpassed my expectations every time.
Nice place with luxury atmosphere, and expensive as well. The menu is rich and it was nice to see many vegetarian options. Sometime there is waiting for this restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The service is good but I was shocked with below average quality of ice cream, it was like a frozen water with some flavors! And as all French restaurants, the seating are a bit small with the tables are very close to each other.
Delicious macaron, especially the pistachio. Hot chocolate was thick and oozy, some of the best I’ve had. It’s a beautiful cafe and in a prime location; so expect very high prices. It’s worth a visit once in a blue moon.Ordered:-4x macaron-Hot chocolateI think the total was around 20 euros.A good experience, recommended despite the hype.
Good selection of pastries and macarons. We purchased some macarons, but received some incorrect flavours in our box. Quite pricey compared to other shops.
Booked a table for 11 people! Nice private area upstairs where we were seated! Service was quick and efficient. Drinks came first then the meals were served all correct. Staff kept on checking to see if everything was ok!
The food is fantastic. Good deserts. Decent service. I recommend the white omelette and the brute cider.
So below original, staff were good but food was not as expected .
Simply must do while in Paris Champs Elysees! Beautiful place, excellent cakes and desserts and even better personal service! The cakes not only look good, they are delicious! Spent a good afternoon together with my family 💕💕We were totally swept away by the kind and attentive service the waiter gave us. He spoke good English and was truly wonderful. We wanted to use our €500 note which is so hard to use in shops these days. This waiter, went out of his way to help us by going to 3 other shops outside or Laduree to change the note into smaller denomination for us. Isn’t that wonderful service? Paris has left me a with wonderful experience this time. 2 Thumbs up 👍
Considering your paying a premium for the spot and food. The decor and meal was good. Pricey but good
Solid clubhouse. Great avo salmon toast. Good tea. Highlight (not a surprise) were the macarons. We had the orange blossom. Great place to take a pause while shopping on the Champs-Élysées.
Good but doesn’t worth price and waiting time
Loved this place. Staff so friendly and food was sooo good. Just had to buy some macaroons....and just wow. So good
The waiting line is always long but it’s definitely worth it! The place is so pretty with nice ambience on the Champs-Élysées.
Lower than my expectations...Coffee was cold+ I ordered a raspberry french toast and got a strawberry one instead, and when I spoke to the waiter about it, he said that it wasn’t the raspberry season! I believe that I should have been notified of that info when I was ordering in the first place🤗
Made a reservation for lunch (highly recommend or plan to stand in line). Delicious food and they finished our time there down in the bakery for some of the famous macarons. Such a treat.
Delicious omelette, green soup, and eggs Benedict! Dining experience was great and friendly service. Love Laduree!
What can I say about a restaurant that’s opened in 1862, one of the finest places I’ve been too.
Excellent decor, classic bourgeois French ambiance, there are 2 floors, with elevator for disabled. The cakes are delicious, especially the big macaron sandwiches cream, raspberry and lychee. The drinks are all overpriced though. It takes ard 20 minutes wait in the afternoon, but much faster when u are two. They charge a 15 % service charge, when their service is not good, except the friendly hostess. I really dislike mandatory service fee, especially when it is overcharged.
Had lunch under their streetside, heated canopy with our young kids and we had a wonderful time! The meals were fantastic and filling. Their macarons were superb. Their facilities were clean and well-kept. And their staff was very friendly and provided outstanding, fast service, even outside!
Service is non existant, table of 4 all served at different time.portions look like samplesno decoration no effort, 1 macaron on a plate but because of their reputation worldwide my comments will not make them improve as Im quite sure they dont care.
This place is very popular. There is a even long waiting line to just buy pastry to go. It takes 20 minutes to be seated inside the salon. Although, no need to wait if one chooses the outdoor seating or counter table inside. The coffee and pastry taste good as expected from this brand. I have experienced long waiting for everything: ordering, billing, getting changes. Well, I guess that is the price to pay if you have to take a coffee at a famous French pastry place in champs Élysée.
How much macaron is too much macaron in the land of macaron? 🙊 Paris, famous for macaron is a paradise for every macaron lover and places like Laduree only hold a special place in our heart ❤️ A visual treat , mouthwatering and simply scrumptious is what comes to mind when at @maisonladuree ! When in Paris, you cannot help but fall in love with the city’s vibe, the gorgeous surroundings and delicious food ! Like we always say, Paris je t’aime ❤️
I didn’t like the load of people, the tourists, the slow service but enjoyed the casual food which I can experience at any Ladurée. If planning to visit again, it won’t be this location. Food is good enough but not exceptional, service is way too slow.
Decent macarons but not the hyped up glory its purported to be. The service was abrupt but efficient (given the tempo, I do understand the mood). Would I come again? Probably not, but my wife is happy and thats the main thing.
What a special place this is! We had a private room upstairs for afternoon tea. The food was excellent and the service was superior. This is a great spot to unwind after a day of shopping. Call ahead for the private room. Its worth it! And dont forget to bring home some macaroons. Yum!
It is very well-known as the nice patisserie in Paris. The macaron in many favor to serve for the tea time that we must try for your visit in France. I deeply love the taste of Macaron de Rose Glacee what it looks like in this capture and it is damn great and hard working of the chef. It is quite expensive one but it is worth to make our memory more amazing.
You know a pastry shop is good when it has security guards outside.Laduree is located off Champ Elysees and has a luxurious ambiance. Pricey macarons but these are worth every penny. THE BEST!Each one in a flavor bomb. Coffee and pistachio are my favorites. The elephant ear cookie is also so sweet, buttery, and flaky - again, probably the best Ive ever had. The chocolate eclair was decadent as well. You need to come here. You can also stop by the airport in CDG if you want to grab gifts for home.
Oh my goodness! The hot chocolate alone is enough reason to come here every day. Its the richest and most delicious youll ever have. Yes, really. Quiet inside and great place to stop for a mid day break.
On the day that we went we had a 10 minute wait in a queue to get in the front door of the boutique, as it’s known. Once inside it was another 10 minutes wait in a queue to get your order taken, but this gave you time to take in the picturesque decor and see the excitement on the people’s face as they placed their orders and took photos. If you like macaroons it’s a must to go for the experience, as Laduree were the first to develop the macaroon. From a males prospective I think they are expensive, but it’s not about me and my fiancé loved it. One for keeping the missus 👍🏼
I guess I dont need to tell you that anything on Champs Elysees are Tourist traps. Laduree is the perfect example. They have a boutique where you can buy their macarons at an inflated price, and then you can also sit down in their cafe to pay even more money to drink coffee and enjoy the same macarons you can find next door.No wonder you dont find other Parisians come in here at all.But their macarons are darn delicious, though.
A real French experience. The menu offers a variety of choice, the macarons are delicious. The other cakes are definitely worth trying. I would avoid their milkshake.
I would recommend coming here early in the morning. The staff all speak English, they are very helpful. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer for the cafe. The definitive macron!
Amazing but pricy make sure to be prepared to pay some bills! A great place for families especially you ladies and teen girls, my daughter loved this place and Instagramed the place all week we were in Paris 🇫🇷. Alot of healthy options
Excellent service. Even better desserts!
Nice staff at bar side. the main part was full we sit bar side. it was quite and good. tea and macarons were nice. prices alittle bit expensive.
Delicious macaroons! Very pricey but a beautiful venue and a must visit when in Paris! Theres also a lovely restaurant and bar in the back where you can have drinks and relax.
Great place to have a relaxing cup of tea or coffee while enjoying some amazing pastries that are to die for. Also great food choices for those who would rather go for a complete meal. The building is just beautiful allowing the chance to have private events.
Best place in Paris for macaroon lovers. The food, especially the sweets are amazing. The atmosphere is very lively.Staff is also very cooperative and friendly.
It was really a beautiful experience. The building inside is like stepping into a different era. The food was beautifully presented and quite tasty but nothing mind blowing. The macaroons are obviously a must!
Not worth it at all, breakfast was really bad abd taste bad. I came for their French toast but it was cold and they bring it without the syrup and the taste 👎👎
