I’ve come to Paris 3 times previously and to be honest I didn’t see why everybody likes Paris so much.Staying in this hotel Changes everything,If you want to experience the pinnacle of luxury you must stay here , from check in, to spa, to restaurant , they don’t use the word no here, they just say of course and yes sure..The attention to detail is immaculate and I highly recommend if you want to taste Paris in style.Thank you four season
If youre looking for a place to truly spoil yourself and have the experience of a lifetime, there is simply no better place to stay while in Paris. Its beautiful, iconic, perfectly situated, and evokes the true feeling of what it means to stay in Paris. The views of the Eiffel Tower are legendary, the rooms impeccable, the service top notch, and the reception staff couldnt be more accommodating.
Tartelette aux fraise et huile d olive, the most delicious cake ever i loved it.I removed 2 stars because the manager of the lounge was very very d i s respectfull to us
Amazing lunch, super friendly service, location is top notch and prices are more than adequate.Desserts are especially worth it in my opinion but my risotto was also incredibly good. You will really enjoy a great experience,I will certainly come back!Bread and focaccia with extra virgin olive oil on the side are excellent,a little amuse gueule is gently offered together with a little sweet treat at the end of the meal
I just went their Michelin restaurants. I had the good fortune of trying several five stars for dining or sleeping. You can quickly spot the difference that makes this one a true palace (the higher quality of the flowers, the staff, the welcome, etc…).The restaurants are also on another level. See the reviews
Wonderful hotel with amazing restaurants and bars. The staff is wonderful
Stayed here early august for a week and loved it, by far the best hotel in Paris and always a pleasure for us. We can’t wait to get back to be spoilt more
There was a old saying; you may find a better hotel, but you cant spend more money. That about sums it up. If you are a guest at the hotel there will almost always be room for you for dinner; if not your not.
Great hotel but not so great if you enjoy smoking a cigar
Top notch, the only issue were the paparazzi at the front. I think they mistook me for an actor when I got out of my car (Feeling like an idol!)
Excellent service. Christian is a master mixologist
Always the best service in Paris.20 years ago and now, always magnificent.
Cheap as chips ! The room service is okayish. I recommend the grilled langoustine but the Sauterne was kept for too long... will come again eventually
One of the best places in Paris. Amazing Atmosphere.
The best ambiance!!! Good food and great drinks
Beautiful place and the most helpful staff.
Do the tea time!! Cant wait for them to open again !! was wonderful... the chief plays with your tastebuds!!
Just the best place to be in Paris !!!! Amazing FS for years !!! ❤❤🇨🇵🇨🇵
Great location, beautiful decoration and ample rooms
Still one of the best choices to stay in Paris. Always top notch service and great staff. Excellent location and the list goes on.
My favorite place to stay in Paris.
Superb hotel with outstanding staff who truly makes your stay memorable.
Perfect service! Wonderful place! I cant wait to go again.
Trust luxury hotel in ParisService, staff, atmosphere and location
Luxury, perfect service, great location and amazing breakfasts! The staff is very attentive and they care a lot about each and every client.Rooms are cleaned several times a day, everybody is smiling (sometimes maybe too much and it might eventually lose its desire effect) and the whole hotel is flawless. The restaurants are fantastic, pool is great. It would be only nicer to have more kinds of saunas.I especially loved the Japanese breakfast to the room!!! As a big fan of Japanese culture, well done!!Very satisfied!
Can be better for this price ..
Was worth every penny, enjoy the show it kicks off before you’re even in the door. I also like
I loved it here when i visited very friendly management
I absolutely love this place it is amazing has a giant bed food is scrumptious the staff were amazing even helped me take my shoes off (i dont have arms so it was nice). Wow this place made me feel like i was right at home .
Simply outstanding
Best ever
Favourite place in Paris. One of the prestigious hotels in the area. No competition needed
Really one of the best hotels in Paris. You could easily live there and never get tired of it.
One of the best if not maybe the best hotel in Paris. Really amazing staff, always good to be here. Gym is impeccable, rooms super clean and bright, staff very attentive.Food is spectacular and bar service is quite on track. Cocktails are delicious.I visited it for Haute Couture week end of January. Staff was very caring about my injured foot and made my feel at home.
Very good
Amazing rooms and service! The concierge service was fantastic! One of the coolest experiences we had in Paris was getting the hot chocolate here. Just as the concierge recommended it truly was the finest hot chocolate we have ever had. It was amazing in every way!
I absolutely love this place it is amazing has a giant bed food is scrumptious the staff were amazing even helped me take my shoes off (i dont have arms so it was nice). Wow this place made me feel like i was right at home .
For us it’s the best hotel in Paris!!The hospitality, location, the staff!! It is all amazing. One really feels like coming home. And the beds are divine.
We come here for the afternoon tea, and it is great. Food and desserts never disappoint, just exquisite. But their teas... they are either served lukewarm or not enough tea and just hot water or way too strong. They really cannot figure out their tea proportions.Plus, I think they snub people and do not let them in. We walked in with another couple and they did not seat us. I tried to make a reservation for a week away, they said they were fully booked. But then I emailed for the same time/day reservation and got it no problems. I think it was the person with us, he did not have the image that this hotel would approve, unless you are staying there, then they have no choice.
I can only describe my experience here with one word: Perfection 🙏🏻
One of the best hotels ever. Friendliest, educated and knowledgeable staff. Fantastic breakfast variety. Good, stable WiFi. Proximity to stores and theaters. 👍
I have stayed at the George V four or five times over the years, typically for stays of three to five days at a time, and always found it to be a top notch experience.Excellent, customer-focused staff.Outstanding dining.Beautiful, well appointed rooms.Believe it or not, my very first stay at the George V was as an accidental tourist. As a senior in high school I traveled with a group of one dozen or so advanced french students, all 17 - 18 years old, on a two week excursion trough the countryside, cities and even beaches of France. We stayed in very nice hotel, though not as nice as the George V, until...Upon arrival in Paris late one evening for three days of Parisian culture, we found that there had been a fire that day in the hotel that were were booked to stay in and it was closed for investigation and inspection.Unbelievably, the George V came to the rescue and took us in. Try to picture our faces as we, a bunch of teenagers and a few 20 - 30 something year old teacher/chaperones, walked into the lobby of the George V. Instead of rooming two to a room we had to do three per room, but who cared! We had an outstanding three days and two nights at the George V.Because of that experience we have tried to stay there whenever we had the chance to return the beautiful city of Paris. I was lucky to have a father that was an international commercial airline pilot, so what we saved on airfare by flying standby we could put into the hotel. The George V sets the standard for all other hotels, restaurants and any entity that relies on customer satisfaction for their trade.Wonderful place to be.
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris. It is everything one searches in a hotel. The service is absolutely perfect. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Congratulations for providing an exceptional experience.
Exellent
Outstanding. A perfect stay at this comfortable hotel. Staff are polite and professional without being intrusive. Location is unbeatable
Stunning hotel in the former landmark Hotel George V with outstanding service! This gem of a hotel houses 3 Michelin star restaurants and all are amazing! The service is excellent and the design and amenities of this hotel are spectacular! My clients stay here all the time and it’s our go to spot in Paris. Great as always!
The service is some of the best you will ever receive. Polite professional and the attention to detail is amazing. One of the best four seasons in the world. The flowers in the lobby are worth a stop and definitely on the to do list if you are on Paris. If you can’t afford the hotel drop by to see the flowers and have a drink. The staff will treat you as if you were a guest. And being a guest is awesome as well. I would give more stars if I could.
In a word, impressive. We love the Four Seasons hotel chain and find consistent attention to detail and service, but the George V had special features that made our stay memorable. The soft green room decor was just lovely with a gracious chandelier and elegant decorating. The restaurants were excellent with drinks served perfectly. Staff were all notably attentive. Elegant, well located, and everything you could ask for in Paris.
You will find good people here
Pricey, but what the hell, everyone should experience this at least once in your life, dont you think?I didnt stay there. Yet. But the doormen were very nice to me out on the Ave.Looking in, I was floored! God, its gorgeous. Next time Im in Paris, Im going to put on clothes and go to the cocktail bar there!
Beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris. It is everything one searches in a hotel. The service is absolutely perfect. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Congratulations for providing an exceptional experience.
We always love our time here. This trip we requested fresh flowers in the room and they out did themselves. Great service on every level. I really enjoy the pillow service and the size of the bathrooms here. A very attentive and friendly staff. We will be back!
Worthy of the Four Seasons name, this hotel knows how to take care of a guest and give five star customer service. From the valet when you walk in, to the front desk, concierge desk, room service, housekeeping, restaurant servers, and the restaurant hostesses, everyone is professional, polite, warm and welcoming. Eye contact, smiling, calling the guest by name, speaking English, remembering the guess name from day today, truly old school customer service not found in other hotels or venues. It is a true pleasure and Delight to be staying at this hotel. Enjoy and soak it in because you wont find it anywhere else!
Lovely and such a nice palace. The staffs are great and welcoming
In a word, PERFECTION!The Butter Chicken was so impressive not to mention scrumptious, the flavours were unpretentious, uncomplicated, honestly perfect. Bravo! We loved it so much I challenge anyone in the city to make it better then Pukka. From the friendly welcome when we walked in (despite having no reservations) and the restaurant being full, the staff were all notably attentive and gracious.Yes the best dinner We have had in Toronto to date, but it wasn’t just dinner ... its was art, history, craftsmanship and the constant pursuit of excellence that makes this place a must-go.Well deserved 5 STARS
The hotel was very pricey, but the services were nice and literally out of the world 🌎
Nicknamed George V for the street it is on, the hotels always refined, featuring the most exquisite fresh seasonsl flowers arrangements. Hadnt a chance to stay there yet but tried the spa which was divine. Dreamy and spacious treatment room. The tea lounge and lobby bar are beautiful. All three restaurants in George V are famous for all having Michelin stars. Will try next time.
Only came here for the spa. The massage was great but we were not allowed to use the pool or steam room because it’s for hotel guests only. After a 200+ Euro Massage per person it shouldn’t be an issue to let ur guests use the facilities - especially if nobody else is using them at the time.
The hotel is beautiful and well maintained.Highly irritating bar lady that prevents many people from having a quick drink and insists one should wait for 10 minutes max, to then prioritise women that look like they are there to acquire male acquaintances
I think it is the most beautiful place in Paris
From the phone handling to the welcome (despite our late arrival) upon arrival. We kept the menu down to two courses but spent a wonderful 2 and a half hours being gobsmacked by flavours, textures and service. Yes its not cheap dinner, but its not dinner ... its art, history, craftsmanship and the constant pursuit of excellence that makes places like this a must-do. Discovered some new wines I had never heard of and enjoyed the best sweetbread I had ever had. Unpretentious, uncomplicated, honest, perfect. Bravo!
I suppose no one would ever has any complaint of this hotel. Excellent people and their services. Everyone and everything are at almost perfect point. Glad that we have stayed here for our paris trip.
Terrible place to stay. i was not able to sleep for a week because of the constant partying and alcoholics in the area. the location of my room was right next to the toilets of which had not been cleaned in weeks the food was awful and i ended up getting food poisoning from raw chicken. i forced myself to eventually leave and on the way out i was greeted by a who seemed a homeless person who offered me a pack of ecstasy and cigarettes. i said no and went on and was chocked to see staff having a drinking contest and taking pills. Overall i did not enjoy this stay and you wont either.
We has an absolutely fabulous afternoon.I work in hospitality and this place is another level.Remus looked after our ever want.Nothing was a problem. Top class products served by excellent staff under Remus careful management.I will return very soon and I hope Remus will still be there as his knowledge and experience is second to known.Emmett
This is an excellent hotel with very well trained personnel. This place is perfect for having lunch (mostly in spring with all flowers in the inner garden). Everyone is friendly here, they serve you with a smile and they are always there to help your expressed wishes! Also, this hotel is in such a good location, that you can discover Paris by walking!
Breathtaking does not begin to describe this mesmerizing hotel. From the moment you walk in you are transported to Beauty serenity history and awe. Simply put this is how its done. Even if you do not stay at this hotel and you find yourself in Paris do yourself a favor walk through the lobby.
Elegant hotel. Spa is out of this world. Expensive but if u r going to pay these crazy prices you get value for your money here
Absolutely magnificent, though youll pay a lot for this level of service and opulence. The burger I ate was one of the best Ive ever had, but was it worth more than €50? Probably not quite. For a splurge, though, you cant beat the ambience for feeling like a high roller. Get the hot chocolate if you possibly can, its a life-changer.
From the welcome at the door... friendly English speaking waiters; the ambience is breathtaking... the food portions are just right, and oh, the taste of the grilled fish...from a Non-fish lover!
Got to be the best hotel experience Ive ever had. A true 5 star+ hotel. There was never a no response for any of my requests. Thanks for making Paris feel not as bad as I remember.
Magnificent.. Didnt want to leave...Will definitely be going back ❤️
I passed by the hotel because I wanted to have breakfast. I was told its not possible If Im not staying at the hotel. That definitely didnt stop me. I went to the cafe at the hotel and had eggs benedict and a cappuccino. The food was yummy, but what I loved the most was the honesty of the waitress. I asked her about the best cooking class in Paris and she suggested the Ritz! Thats amazing! She was so honest!
I stayed in the Four Season last month on business. We used the conference room which was fantastic. The hotel provided us with screen, multimedia, microphones and everything else we needed. We had two coffee breaks and the food and service was excellent. About the room I have no complaints – beautifully furnished and very convenient. Overall, if staying in this hotel you will have amazing experience.
Beautiful
Wonderful hotel. Favourite one so far. I have visited hundreds
An amazing and ornately manicured experience at the four seasons in Paris. We showed up for drinks and a few desserts and they took great care of us. The macaroons were fantastic and the champagne was good. But if you didnt know, youre here for the service and the atmosphere. Both are in great abundance. Magnificent Christmas trees, ancient tapestries on the walls, grand rugs and entryways... Even a famous face or 2. Price reflects this grandeur.
If you want to experience true European luxury and French hospitality. You need to stay in this hotel. I dont know where should I start from. The service, ambience, food everything is just too if the line. We had a meal in the cinq restaurant and that was an experience - simply awesome. I love the flowers in the lobby and they make the day so special. One more experience - try and make a booking through the reservation department, you will get to know what is true customer service. Its been a while I forgot the name of the lady and my apologies. She was outstanding worth every penny when you stay here. Going back in June again
Lovely hotel in the center of George V street and walking distance to the major sightseeing and top restaurants in Paris. Luxurious and refined, service is great too and prices are reasonable for what we get
Beautiful building with amazing decor. The front entrance staff were very friendly. The food was incredible on a whole other level. The only issue was that despite being a 1 Micheline star restaurant with quite a high price tag on its food (5 of us ordered the 110 euro set meals along with 200 euro of wine), the waiters and wine staff were very slow to service us and didnt seem to be working quite at the level such an establishment would be expected of.
Lovely lobby but I could just not bring myself to stay. If you can afford it you are either a four seasons person or not. Im not (Austin TX being the possible exception)
I was staying in few different hotels of Four Seasons and it was always wonderful, but George V is unforgettable experience for all life. Simply The Best of what hospitality can offer you!
It was a must-see landmark in Paris for me, for a very simple reason really - Id seen it so many times in the French Kiss movie before. Somehow Id expected to see that very concierge so ardently protecting hotel guests privacy and Meg Ryan trying her best to get hold of her fiance 😀. Well, I didnt. Obviously. The real hotel looks smaller and was not so brightly lit in the evening. It has its own Parisian charm but Ill always prefer the movie version of it. 😀
We stopped here for one night when on our honeymoon trip to the south of France and it was the most amazing hotel experience Ive ever had. Everyone was friendly, smiling, constantly looking for ways to help. We used the pop up spa for a couples massage [we each booked our own massage, but they asked if we wanted to be in the same room]. The spa staff were professional, knowledgeable and attentive. The room itself was beautiful, the bed felt like a cloud and the attention to detail is impeccable. [We had the romance package so there was a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers waiting for us. There were also 4 macarons upon arrival, though I dont know if that is normal or because of the romance package]. We had breakfast in our room and it was plentiful, delicious and prompt. Finally, the hotel lobby and common areas are beautiful with flower arrangements that apparently change often. Overall, it is an experience not to be missed.
