Nagathankavu, a temple located at Parappur of trichur town is well known for AAYILYA MAHOTSAV conducted every year during the month of september. Thousands come here to get the blessings of the SARPADEVATHA. And also to watch the SARPAKALAPATTU.

One of the oldest temples and close vicinity of the Chirakal temple. Do be careful that Google suggests a much narrow route which joins backside part of the temple beside the ayyapa temple opposite to that. For some reasons the main front road was not suggested when I went last time. So always ask someone when going to any location which is quite interior.
