For a first time mom, bedside manner and not feeling rushed is so important — Dr Smith takes all the time you need, listens to your questions and answers so you understand. He never jumps to conclusions and is just a caring person. We are so lucky to have him as our pediatrician!

I have been taking my children to Tenafly Pediatrics for over 18 years, mainly to the Paramus location, but have also visited many of their other locations, and I have always had a great experience. The doctors, nurses, medical assistants, receptionists, are all professional and polite and always deliver excellent care for my children. Our primary doctors are Dr. Sugarman and Dr. Asnes, I cannot say enough good things about them. And I have always been happy with every doctor we’ve seen at this practice when our primaries weren’t available for a sick visit. Also, they have office hours 7 DAYS A WEEK!

Dr. Asnes has been our family doctor for over 18 years. My boys are in their late teens and still love to see him. He is compassionate and attentive to every detail. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We take our two children here and have seen multiple doctors, all of whom have been great! They are on time, follow appropriate covid precautions and are thorough. They also went above and beyond and rounded in the hospital on my baby when she was in the Nicu. We appreciated their presence and expertise during that time.

Dr Anderson is excellent everytime we go see him..I have so far have nothing but good experiences.. Nurses are most of the time friendly, but could be better

Both my kids are with Tenafly pediatrics. All doctors are great. Office personnel are wonderful to deal with.

Dr Asnes was friendly and attentive to my child on his first time visit to Paramus branch after moving to the area. He made small talk and did elbow bumps to make the visit more fun and ease the nervousness that comes with Dr visits.

All the doctors have always been very kind and helpful. The office staff is always kind and accommodating.

Clean, organized, great processing system, they get you in and out quickly, Dr. Menasha is a joy to see and all the other docs are great as well.

Dr. Sugarman is a compassionate, attentive, and brilliant Pediatrician. She truly is the best and I feel fortunate that she is my daughter’s physician. My daughter is 14 and we have been going to Dr. Sugarman since she was 1 week old.

I have been going here for 18 years with my kids and I can not say enough good things about it! They are always pleasant and responsive. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 15 or 20 minutes. If I ever have an emergency they always got me in and always call me when I need to speak to a doctor. Every doctor I have ever dealt with were always nice, thorough and professional. I usually see Dr Smith or Dr Saks but have seen a few others over the years all were great with one exception and I don’t think she is even there anymore. The front desk staff is good. They sometimes are short and not really a super friendly bunch but I get it. It’s a very busy office and there isn’t much time for chit chat. Some people just take up a lot of their time and they need to move things along, answers phones, check people out, etc. always a lot happening at the desk so I Get it. I work as a receptionist and at times you are overwhelmed and just trying to get stuff done and even trying to smile is an effort! Anyway I have much respect for the whole team at the Paramus office!

During these difficult times our experience at Tenefly Pediatrics was wonderful! The staff was very compassionate and thorough. We felt very safe and cared for. Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Kim.

I adore nearly all of the doctors at this practice. They are top notch. We have had especially great experiences with Dr Kim, Dr Sugarman, and Dr Menasha. The best of the best.

There was no waiting time because only the limited number of patients can be scheduled to adhere to the COVID restrictions. The nurse and Dr Kim were very professional. Dr kim listened to my son carefully and Talked to him directly putting his worries at rest. I left the doctors office relieved and reassured that my son is healthy.

Absolutely love them! I have been to Paramus for 4 visits and Oakland for one. I have a newborn who just had his 2 month visit today. We have seen a few different Drs, as I wanted to meet a few and really liked them all so far but have now picked my favorite. Office staff are all friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Offices have been clean, and easy to navigate.

We love Tenafly pediatrics. As a new mom with anxiety, Dr. Menasha has been so helpful in easing my worries and concerns. They are efficient and really the best in Bergen county.

I am a little biased because my mom works here. But the rest of the staff is just as amazing! The doctors are all so amazing, I could sit here and list my favorites but then this would be a very long review. Id been a patient here for years and now I confidently bring my own babies here. Im proud that my mom works here because these people truly are great.

Amazing Doctors and staff

I was so angry and upset after my visit today. I brought my 14 month old in with a 103 fever after speaking to the nurse on the phone. I arrived 5 minutes early out of respect and sat in the sick waiting area for over 30 minutes. In this time more than 6 people came and went, my 14 month old wanted to play with the other sick kids and screamed when I wouldn’t put her down because I didn’t want her to catch anything else or make anyone else sick. I understand it is a busy time of year and I appreciate that the doctors take their time to be thorough but some common decency from the staff would be greatly appreciated. All I need is a heads up on arrival or a phone call before hand that schedule is running behind and I would have waited in the car.

I absolutely love this office. All the doctors are professional and a joy to be around. The receptions are polite and courteous. The waiting room has a wide range of toys to keep the little ones busy.

I had a very unusual situation after my pediatrician for 18 years closed her practice. I am overwhelmed by the professionalism and willingness to help me that Arya(hope I spelled it correctly)showed. She located my childrens files called me back in minutes and setup an emergency appointment for my daughter immediately so we could refill a prescription. I cant say enough!!!! Thank you!!!!!

I love Dr. Anderson and Dr. W...however it is becoming difficult to get appointments and the wait time is becoming longer.

I wish google reviews had Zero option for stars. The first impression counts more than a thousand of words. Since the day I called to make an appt till the day off, it has been a nightmare dealing with this clinic. The end of the story they canceled my appt while my husband was in the facility. The front desk staff are so rude and have no type of sympathy for others. Horrible customer service, every time I called to ask questions all i got for an answer was ATTITUDE !!

Every time I go the visits are rushed to the point that I don’t even get to ask all my questions. Is just so unpleasant to go with a sick baby see a doctor for a rush 5 min and hear no suggestions what so ever. I am so disappointed.

Very disappointed after tonights visit. Ive been seeing such a decline in services thru them the past year especially but tonight put me so over the edge I am finally ready to take my kids to a different pediatrician office. I was a patient there myself when I was a kid (in Tenafly) but I now have 3 kids who are patients since they were born! My oldest is turning 14! Sadly, I am ready to leave. Their services have declined drastically. I love, absolutely love Dr. Buchalter, however, we are only fortunate to see him for my kids scheduled checkup appointments. We mainly go to the Paramus branch for sick visits since its closer but after tonight I will NEVER go to the Paramus branch again. Im very skeptical to even return with my kids to Tenafly Pediatrics at any location! They were so disorganized and horrible service tonight. I will be calling a different pediatrician office to set my kids up, elsewhere. :/
