Maintenance is poor. May be opened after covid lockdown. But while giving it should be proper ti use and considering all the facility only the amount is charging.Door lock, lighting, fridge are all not worked.

Enjoyable stayWe stayed in the hotel for two nights and two days. The room was very comfortable, cosy and well-furnished. The services were prompt and courteous. The traditional cuisines were tasty. The hotel has power back-up. So, in spite of the frequent power outage, we were not put to any inconvenience. For those who love liquor, the hotel has an attached Bar/Permit-Room.

Yes its a nice bar restaurant outside the Palakkad city. In Palakkad shornur Road at edathara 7 km away from Palakkad city. Very reasonable price and good service and atmosphere for drinkers.

Not great place, quality of food not upto the mark. Waiter out there was trying his best to give good service but food was delayed from kitchen for more than usual time. Ordered five foods nothg came as our taste except the tea. Orange juice was room temperature. pepper chicken had corn flour in it. Wheat paroto was more or less like chapatti. Prawns curry had small shrimps in it.. Nothg was satisfactory. Atlast got a check which was like not same price as that of menu card. Didnt have time to fight for all this so kept quit and came back. Two star for the poor waiter. Did his best,. Need more trained staff. If providing with heavy bills quality of staff and food should be upto that standard.

Ample amount of parking space, much visible in the Highway and less crowded, may be as weekday Visit. Feel little isolated as ended up as the only family in the eat out space. Service and food quality was fair. Privacy was well felt as staffs were well attentive in their area of work

I stayed only for a night as I was attending a wedding there. Loved the rooms and especially the food. Staff is good as well.

We stayed here for 4 days and the hospitality, service, food and arrangements were top notch. We were taken extremely good care of, and the staff was very prompt, warm and courteous. Definitely recommend the place to everyone looking for a good stay option here.

Hotel Chithrapuri is the biggest hotel venture in Edathara. Has amble car parking, bonquet hall, rooms, and bar. Kept premises clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms and hall. Food served is also good and tasty. Service is excellent.

We had a worst experience in this hotel. We stayed in this hotel for 1 day 1 night(5-Nov-16 to 6-Nov-16). While staying there, we kept our luggage and wallets in the room and went for Dinner. Next day we checked out from the hotel and on the way back when we checked the wallets, money from 2 wallets was missing (2K). Suddenly we called to the hotel and the manger was very rude and he responded badly and told us they are not responsible for theft. And did not proceed with any further investigation. CCTV camera footage was with them, but they didnt co-operate with us for checking the same.

Food was good in the restaurant but the fish was not fresh. The restaurant staff was helpful. Hotel room looked spacious and welcoming but bed was dusty and the bathroom plumbing was terrible. Poo and urine kept coming back even after flushing multiple times. Also unbearable smell of poo was in the bathroom. No hot water either. Car park is available(10-12 cars). Security staff was unpleasant. No complimentary breakfast. Reception staff could communicate properly but lagged in service. Also had a beer parlour but did not try it.ID proof will not be given back till you vacate the place(unacceptable). Upon check out only a cash receipt was given instead of a proper bill within an envelope. Overall not worth the money spent. Too bad the place had potential.

Have good infrastructure but less explored by the customers. After closure of the Bars in Kerala, the restaurant here had a tough time. No slowly getting normal. Food and stay have a class of its own.

Hospitality is not good

We stayed in this hotel for a day and a night in Nov 2016. Aftet checking out, on the way back we checked our wallets and realized that all the money was stolen from the wallets while we had gone out for dinner the previous day. We immediately contacted the hotel reception and the response from their side was even more disappointing and disgraceful. He told they dont have an extra key and they are not responsible for the theft (which hotel doesnt have an extra key!!! I dont understand). They were not willing to do any investigation on this incident even though they have CCTV cameras installed all over there.I sincerely want to give a zero star for their irresponsible behavior but sadly there is no option for it. So going for a 1 star.

Only had poor experience with them whenever dealt with them. They charged me extra when booked a room in their hotel. Once ordered food from them, the food was not good. The argument they made was their chef is new. So, we have South Indian recipe before and now a North Indian recipe. Their staffs are almost like bouncers, it is almost a hotel run by goons as per the words of other people in the locality.
