Good location though not in jungle, nice place to spend a day at peace. Elephant ride is very good with the watch tower visit. Food is good but could have been better.

If you want something apart from your mundane city life these types of surroundings will reset your level of enthusiasm. Fresh air, close to nature, and the most important thing to remember is not to pollute it. If you visit such places make sure not to litter your garbage, keep your wrappers and disposables with yourself and only get rid of it in the designated dustbins.

Very much beautiful place to stay. But the elephant riding point is 2Km from here and you have to hire a cart. Fooding & Lodging are included in the rent. Now it is booked online.

A beautiful place in the lap of nature. Its located in Gorumara National Park, South Range. Lovely greenery. Very refreshing.

In-charges behaviour during our interaction was worst..his way of talking was too harsh.. he was very reluctant to provide any information regarding jungle safari.. not only that he and his subordinate misguided us about the safari time.. he was also very reluctant about our safety.. we and one other family were left alone in the rhino camp without any proper security.. not only that no staff was there to attend us during that night.. there was no geyser in any cottages.. it was horrible during our stay as it was winter season.. the overall experience was pathetic and I strongly recommend not to visit the camp.. this was our worst stay during the entire dooars tour..

This is the most Beautiful part of Garumara National Park. Please visit the place. The chance of seeing Rhino is greater than any other part of the park. Get a booking at Kalipur Govt. Resort through online only. Have a free Elephant ride over this place. Enjoy !!

Its a govt property situated at Ramsai. Location is good but maintenance is very bad. Residents get priority booking for elephant safari from Medla Watch tower in Gorumara wildlife sanctuary. Better to stay at kalipur eco village which is better both location wise and facility wise.

Its basically a picnic spot . Where you can see elephant and other animals and also a very beautiful river . I just loved it .

We stayed here in the month of Feb . We did elephant safari saw the raihno ... Good was good .. tv is not present there . Getting signal is a big challenge

Ramsai has by now been on the tourist map of North Bengal, a part of West Bengal in Indian territory...its access was not easy during the seventies and early of the 80s...from Chulsa-Lataguri to Maynaguri one could reach the spot with hardship...even during eighties there was train service from New Mal Junction(popularly known as BDR, ie: Bengal Dooars Railway) to Domohini...on its way back the train would go to Jadabpur TE piercing the dense forestry of Lataguri... passengers were very few...some locals would carry firewood in the train...from Jadabpur Tea Garden, Ramsai was reachable...The forest was deep and dark...it would thrill us exceedingly...wild animals were wild in nature...cane grove was also there in the Lataguri junjle...cane furniture was available in Lataguri during those times...The natural habitat was few and far between... communication was rougher...the scenic attraction was irresistible...gone are the days!Now things have been improving... communication has been still improving...resorts in the twenty first century are the added beauty of these locations...so many amenities have been available to the stayers...Buffalo safari has rustic splendor...girded by tea gardens, bushy areas and Gorumara National Park, have in its possession a host of prides...One could route through Lataguri, Moulani, Shingimari, and Maynaguri to get Ramsai...Floating on the boatel is an important destination nearer to Meedla eco-tourism...

Serene place,but food is not upto the mark,not suitable for summer months,rooms are overrated.We booked through angshika travels and they charged a lot.

Nice place to enjoy nature, its a remote place, food and other things are manageable. If you are wildlife lover its a must to be there.

Badly managed forest resort. Food is worthless. Linens are unhygienic. They provide you elephant ride without proper security.

Better known as Gorumara forest lodge. 27kms from Lataguri moor. This resort is embeded just on the verge of the forest. Beautiful resort with luxurious accomodation and food. Staff behaviour is also heart warming
