Having heard so much about this place from locals, I ordered in last night via Swiggy as I was too tired to head out. The packaging used is silver foil and cloth like bags. While I wished the seal was done farther on the top so the foil can be reused, the quantity was good. The sausage pulao is very flavourful and was not chewy at all. The potato in the pork sausage fry was undercooked but the sausages were good. If you’re around, worth trying their food.

Very expensive food. This place is right opposite or next to Panjim church square. Very small place can accommodate 10 people on the ground floor. the food is literally expensive here as compared to some big and famous restaurants in Panjim wch offer better food as well. Here the food tastes is very good but you will not get the traditional Goan fish thali here. you will have to order everything separately, I happen to order a Fish curry rice at 340rs that too just a bowl of rice and a bowl of curry with fish in the curry no fried fish no vegetable nothing which is pathetic, a traditional goan fish thali comes with fried fish rice curry vegetables kokum curry salad you will get at Rs 150 to rs 200 or max 250rs but the food is very expensive here . a simple water bottle is 40rs a litre....the charges are bomb. I can only give a one star to this place that too only for the taste of the food...

I was asked to visit this restaurant for pork dishes. This place is a favourite of old timers. The place is very small and cannot seat many people. The food is good like many other restaurants in Goa.As it is close to the Church, tourists visiting the church can choose to have a meal here; you won’t be disappointed with the food.

I call Georges a veteran in authentic Goan cuisine. Just off the compound of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church (Panjim Church), its bang in the heart of the city. Id advise all to go to this place early and get started as theres limited seating and food items tend to get exhausted quickly. Staff is really busy, so you better get them to hear your order asap.

Nice cozy place at a great location. The restaurant is well maintained and has friendly staff. All the dishes we tried exceeded our expectations. The food is also priced quite reasonably. If you want to try authentic Goan cuisine and seafood do give this place a visit. The Pork Sausage Chilly Fry is a must try.

Orderred for take away July 2020.. Mackerel raechaedo was not fresh. Pork chilly fry was a complete let down. Squid masala fry was a ripe off as the Squids were too small and less in quantity . Prawn balchao was average. Croquet, chicken steak and Pork sorpotal were simply delicious. Overall a poor experience and will not order again.

Decent place , which serves some really great soups. One of the oldest places in Panjim situated in the heart of the city right in front of the main church. The pricing is economical, small place, tables and chairs have lesser space. Service is ok, main course and other dishes are ok. Go here for a budget and quick meal when you are walking around the city

🤓...DUBIOUS AT BEST...🤓Georges is located right next to the Church of the Immaculate Conception - a hot spot for both Indian & Foreign tourists - and boy do they take advantage of it...😨In small print they add 22% VAT to the Bill.Bet you a dime to a dollar it goes into Mr. Georges pocket, out of yours & definately NOT to the Government.... 😨😟😰😟😰If this were included directly on the Menu nobody would go there as it would be way too expensive.Having said that the place is clean, the food is below average and the price is exorbitant.BE CAREFUL .......❌❌❌❌If it was me I would cross over the road to Kwality Bar (SEE SEPARATE REVIEW) - ambience is local, not as nice in every department, but you can sit outside & it is so much cheaper.

The restaurant has an old and cozy vibe to it. They serve authentic Goan food which tastes great. There are a few problems though, such as extremely slow service. It can also be difficult to get a seat during peak hours, but thats not exactly a problem. It situated in a great location too. Would recommend eating here if you are close by.

If there was zero star I would have given zero. Very expensive place. Food quantity is very less compared to any other restaurants with lesser price and better ambience. Not for family as you will find all guys with beer. Ritz Restaurant is 100 times better restaurant then this place. Fish curry rice is more expensive then Ritz. Where as Ritz will serve you a big Thali with king fish and varieties with delicious curry. Worst experience over all

Review №49

One of the best budget restaurants in Goa for Goan food. I come here only for the beef and pork dishes so I cant comment on the fish (I go to Ritz Classic for my fish fix). I usually order the beef rolls (roulade), which is outstanding in a slightly sweet, mostly HOT curry and the beef croquettes, 6 per portion, which are fantastic with a bottle of beer. The pork and tongue are also very good.

Prawns Chilly Fry was very tasty but not really dry. We couldnt try the Friday Special Beef Potato Chops despite being there by 9:30PM as it was sold out. Last order is by 10:00-10:15 depending on the rush. Savor all these with a chilled beer.

A simple and delicious Goan food restaurant. Nothing fancy in it. Just good Goan dishes. The staff was friendly, answering all our questions about food and recommendations etc. They serve pretty fast and make you wanna come back soon to try other dishes on the menu.Loved it!If you are in Panjim, this place is gold and youll not spend to much compared to other restaurants with more decoration and fancy atmosphere. In the end, we go to restaurants to please our palate and stomachs, not our sight, right? The pork sausages are amazing. The beef cutlet (forgot the name) and anything with beef, pork or chicken is a good choice there.Pair it with a chilled Kingfisher (too bad they dont have some craft beers!) and youll be smiling for the rest of the day, or night.Follow on our journey around the world!@lifetimetravelmates
