Some rooms are good and some rooms are bad, particularly bathrooms are too small but charges are same for both the rooms. Front office staff, I mean reception staff think themselves as owners of the hotel, they are not polite with the customers. There behaviour is not at all acceptable.

I would definitely recommend to visit and taste the delicious desserts in hotel fidalgo, as I only tried those😀.So I have given 4 stars to hotel Fidalgo.I have considered following factors;1)location: well its located within the capital city of Goa, Panjim, at a walkable distance from main road and can be easily located.2)Outside look: nicely maintained. Outside appearance is good.3)Inside look: its great. So many paintings one will find on the walls, pillars and the colour and make is wonderful.4)Ambience: lighting and colouring of inside walls and ceiling, pillars are in sync.5)people: behaviour was nice and helping.6)seating arrangement: they have made seating arrangement for a group of four, its not like you have to compulsorily sit with 4 people only. I would suggest to get some more comfy chairs.7) I only experienced the food and snacks corner so cant comment about the rooms and its types and price which they offer.Overall the place is great and if someone is looking for rooms to stay ,you will like it and food is great.

We stayed here for 2 nights , and ofcourse staying in the heart of city walkable to panjim cruise and casino, the breakfast spread was good, but still they could have elaborated it, with more of non veg options , the rooms are big and clean and the bathroom are good too but the shower glass door inside bathroom is not planned properly as the water falls out of the glass door and makes the bathroom floor wet , very polite staff and the diffuser smell through out the hotel especially the corridor and super, the fragrance is too good, mostly we can see business people residing here and the rates are quite heavy for your pocket but overall nice place to stay and the quality of food is good and quantity too , its a mixed crowd of all business people

Visited this hotel 3 times for breakfast in aunty maria , Very nice experience. Food quality was very good and prices are also reasonable. Friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure, you have the best time, Especially hemant! He knows how to handle the guests (kind hearted person).But only thing is that there is not so much for display, particularly cheese cake. Overall positive experience. Great Location, Great food n Great peoples makes it everything awesome. Compare to last time I visited Breakfast buffet choice has be cut drastically but still hv enough options to pick from. Location is always the top notch about fidalgo . There were mosquitoes everywhere btw that was some damp n think that need to look at it seriously. Very friendly n helpful hotel staff that made everything so smooth n cozy about my stay. Dinner buffet was really awesome , had very few items but food was fantastic. Restaurant manager Bikram (if im not mistake his name) came over to hv a chat with us about food n service which was really good it proved they do care about their customers. Overall great customer service from security guys to top level. If i hv any advice probably few western menu would be great to add on to awesome indian cuisine .

From a must go place to an avoidable place.Visited the place for breakfast today, ordered Onion Uttapha and tea.Paid Rs. 650/- plus taxes.The Onion Uttapha was ok ok, the Sambhar and Tomato Chutney was a disaster, more like Luke warm tasteless over the counter Sambhar Masala Water.The tea was again just luke warm water with flavour, they did replace it with hot water with flavour, but most probably from a buffet kettle for an Ala carte order.The staff are new and need training.....I frequented this place in the past. Unlikely that I will visit this place in the near future.The Rs. 250/- Onion Uttapha is really not worth it.

Wonderful taste and very reasonable..But this is not sunil Shetty’s restaurant or hotel!😅Must visit...After many beers we looking to change so got wonderful cocktails ... though not up to the mark but still nice. Staff was cooperative who served samosa @ FOC as a treat to my group.. location and ambience is also good..

I had visited fidalgo for a award event. In which we received appreciation award for a stadium project..The hotel has a ideal A/C hall for small event on the first floor.Capacity of around 100 people.Separate bar area and separate buffet area. Enough seating space..Good interiors..Overall a good place to host parties and other events..

I had visited the Legacy of Bombay restaurant. This restaurant serves pure vegetarian food. The service was prompt and the staff was very attentive. The quantity of food served per dish is sufficient for two people. The food tasted quite good. The restaurant is located in the city and can be located conveniently.

Nice restaurant, good service, hotel staff helpful. The rooms are not great but arent bad either. The food is okay. If youre going by private transport, itll be difficult to find parking. Overall, its a great place. The atmosphere is great because well, the people who do visit such places are highly sophisticated.

Venue- fantasticHospitality- patheticManagement- horribleIt all started on a bright note, and we expected it to stay such.But as the evening progressed it just got messy.This gentleman named Mr. Braganza came up abruptly and in a very harsh tone said and I quote dont force me to throw things out, this music is not allowed ( we were playing Konkani music) as far as I am aware , we do not need licences for any music in public interest for konaknai & instrumental. Also the point isnt saying no to the music or asking us to change the music, the point is the aggressiveness the comment came towards us with. To which my team members said could we speak to the management about the licences and if it would sort the issue and obviously the gentleman didnt agree and kept being a pain. And later on put off the lift to trouble us , broke the props, not allowed my team to go out of the hotel. They all had to uninstall d set up n go walking long distance with heavy stuff from first floor! When called n asked it was told that lift services are closed after 10.30pm.My question to the management is- do we really want to be so inhospitable?-could their have been better ways to communicate and not destroy the decorators props as its his bread and butter?- Should we ever again recommend fidalgos?I hope you look into this matter very seriously to avoid this happening with other people too.

The buffet in this hotel is really amazing. It has unbelievable variety of food items at a reasonable rate. The hotel location is very convenient to explore both north goa and south goa. The hotel staff is very cordial. The rooms are nicely decorated however, not very spacious. Panjim can be explored by foot from the hotel. There are plenty of good shops nearby for collectibles.

Very nice experience. Soft and friendly staff. Good location, easily accessible to market or the casinos and to night food in the boats. The room was so good and had a pleasant stay. There was an extensive list of dishes for the complimentary breakfast. Tasty too. Happy and Worth staying there.

Good place for a bite. We ate at Aunty Marias restaurant and ordered tex mex chicken, chicken Mediterranean burger, chicken club sandwich and fish & chips. Food was good. Staff are courteous and friendly, place is clean. Service though is pretty slow. Had to wait for almost 30-40 mins until being served. Overall a good place to eat.

Food is good. But the room are too small. If you are looking for a hotel right in the centre of the city and for a work visit then it’s fine. For a holiday then there are better options

Hotel is at central Panaji and good hotel if you really wish to explore city area. Old church building just 5 mnts walk. All cruise and govt offices nearby. Food joints are also at walking distance. Complimentary breakfast is good,The Restaurants have tasty food. You can shop for lots of Goa speciciality sweets and Kaju nearby

One of the best Hotel in Goa

The best thing about Fidalgo is its city centric location. You stay in Panjim and move around various places in Goa. It has 6 different restaurants. I tried Gujrati Food restaurant and the food was awesome. Menu of buffet breakfast and dinner was good. The room was very cozy. Good Housekeeping. Staff is very good.

Fidalgo has always been a place to visit, primarily for the flexibility it offers. On one end, you can get a premier dining experience, and on the other end a nice vege meal with the assurance of clean water for something as basic as a Paani Puri. They also have a decent 24x7 coffee shop which is a lot more accessible to a wider audience (read price) for working at night, after party blues and more. (Note that they do not have any readily available plug points to sit and work at like a regular coffee shop)

I stayed there for two days. My experience was pretty good. The ambience was good. Security staff was good. The food was quite delicious. It was perfect beginning from breakfast till dinner. Dry fruits were provided in breakfast which I liked a lot. Overall it was a good experience. Will surely stay here in future.

Prime location in middle of city is highly convenient for business travellers and families. Its specially appreciated as Goa can be difficult to navigate without your own transport.Rooms have aged so check for leakages before you settle. Food is ok, there are excellent places around - Cafe Bhosale, Ritz and Sher-e-Punjab.Pool is good. Remember to get your own swim suit though.

This is one go-to Hotel in Panaji. Whether it’s a quick bite or coffee with friends, Aunty Maria has a nice cozy place to offer a worthy time. There are other restaurants to choose from a Gujarati thali to Continental, all under one roof :)Rooms are well maintained and staff is polite and helpful. There is scope for improvements as many have pointed out in other reviews. I am sure the management will take it seriously.

We ate at Aunty Maria, we ordered, 3 Marias Signature Breakfasts each came with a pot of Tea/ Coffee, a Maria Club Sandwich and a Hot Chocolate. The food was excellent and is very good value for money... The service was also really good and quick. Very friendly staff. Added bonus is that the restaurant is open 24 hours.
