Staff member thought it was well above him to point me in the right direction while he was vacuuming. Very rudely questioned why I would ask someone while they were vacuuming and to go find someone else. Walked straight back out. Appreciate they probably hire staff on their I.T knowledge here and not people skills but wouldn’t go a miss to learn customer service at the same time.

Called enquiring about mobile solar panels. Shop was busy but 2 staff sorted out what I wanted & explained their 5 day return policy. Lady carried purchase out to car for me as long as I held the door open. I couldnt refuse that deal!!Product works great, wont be returned.

Friendly helpful staff.I was after a cable for a computer. They provided support in testing and confirming it was the correct cable to fix the computers electrical fault

I can not recommend them enough. I was actually able to speak to someone at my local store, not some head office out of town or even out of NZ. They were very helpful on the phone and were able to guide me through the process of ordering what I wanted . In less than an hour I did the click and collect. Their contact tracing process and the collection of my item was done in a hygienic and safe way - could not fault their processes. The pleasantness of the staff both on the phone and in person (at a safe distance) was a credit to their business. I have ordered a few things over the last few weeks and this was the best service ever. Thank you a great process and fantastic team - Many thanks.

Employees seem capable, and reasonably knowledgeable. Electrical parts seem well priced. Gave only three stars because a small thing was really inconvenient to me. They lock the door about 3 or 4 minutes before the listed closing time. I missed them one day after work because of this, and was in the store the next when they did this again. BE WARNED, THEY CLOSE EARLY.

I go in to Jaycar all the time for anything electricity related, tools, components, switches, lighting etc. The staff are friendly & helpful with a good knowledge of what there selling. I needed led lighting for a project & the lady at Jaycar helped out heaps, she explained what does what, how they all operate in a way i understood(not all techy) so i was able to get exactly what i needed & for a good price. I recommend them if you need anything electrical,auto,household,batch etc & if not its worth a look, never know what youll find.

Had to go and find what I wanted, staff member just pointed to where item should have been and never helped out on what I wanted or any suggestions on what could be offered when I went up to counter , went to pay for item and staff member said Are you ready to buy which I thought was a bit rude.

Easy to buy anything electronic and is all God qulity.

Salesman on the floor was head down in his cellphone and sounded like I was interrupting him by asking where a product was located

Hi ,My Partner Martin,recently purchased a solar panel,inverter & deep cycle battery (for an off the grid, electric fence system). The best (and only) place to go for electronics. From specialist parts and components to consumer products they have what you need at a reasonable price, and staff are fairly knowledgeable about what they sell.

I hope they fire miss boomer, she was really aggressive trying to overtake this man selling me a security system. Ive been in other times where i overhear her trying to HUMILIATE the other employees. How does she keep her job acting like that?!
