Situated amidst the hill and beauty is the temple of Purna and the amazing mother. The famous temple of Jogania Mata is situated at the southern end of the Upmal Plateau, bordering Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, about 85 km from the district. According to history, this temple was built around the end of the 8th century.It is popular that earlier there was a temple of Annuparna Devi. After this, instead of Annapurna, this Shakti Peeth in the name of Jogania Mata became famous in the whole world. It is said about the handcuffs hanging in the temple premises that thieves and bandits used to take blessings of mother before carrying out the incident. After reaching the police, whose police escaped from the spot, they used to reach the court of the mother, where the beds in their hands were automatically opened.Jogania Mata is the goddess of folk faith known as a miraculous goddess. At the entrance of the Devi temple two live figures of lions are made. Statues of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Saraswati are enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Two Shiva temples remain in the temple complex. Where year after year the flowing stream streams from Gomukh and covered with picturesque forest area add to the natural beauty of this temple. A large number of devotees visit this temple of Goddess to get the desired fruit by the grace of Mother. By the way, there is movement of devotees here till the year, but during the Navratri days there is a fair atmosphere. Where thousands of devotees visit the mother for nine days and ask for their wishes.Due to the miracle of Jogania Mata, one of the Shaktipeeths of the district, this temple, located on the top of the mountain and in the lap of nature, is known as a philosopher and tourist place, due to the deep reverence of devotees.
