Such a Huge Palace. 5 min walkable distance from main road. You cannot get your vehicles near the palace, you should park it on main road no other options for parking.I dont know why but currently the palace is sealed from all sides you cannot enter into the palace, you just have to view it from outside.
Amazing new by sites, should surely visit. Nice roads with lovely Landscape
Nice 5-10 minute trek from the main road to the palace. No access for cars, only bikes. No formal car parking, need to park on the curbside. Palace is not maintained but offers good photos. Beautiful view of the valley from inside and behind the palace. Free tour of the inside of the property but not much to see.
After all its a historical place, a palace of King. Nice architecture. Geographically placed perfectly on top, from where you can get a breat taking view of Jawhar. Surrounded by cashew trees. Though not visited from inside.
Its an awesome place and palace. Currently under repair works but there needs to be some security for that. It can be modified into a museum and taken care by government officials.
Jawhar Palace is also known as Jai Vilas Palace is a historic tourist attraction in Jawhar. Its a neoclassical-style palace also known as Raj Bari and used to be a residential palace of the Mukne royal family. Built on a hill top, this palace is a master piece of architecture with blend of Western and Indian styles of architecture. The interiors display the rich culture and lifestyle of tribal kings of Mukne family.
Jawahar palace is a mind-blowing view point. if youre planning for a one day trip in Palghar district it will be nice to visit this place
Palace is not maintained but the view behind it is fantastic.
Amazing.. famous for serial and film shootings...
Just go and check it out if youre around. The Palace is mostly in ruins, but that is part of its charm. Also, apparently a lot of horror films etc are shot here, maybe thats why they dont renovate it.Theres a guy at the premises named Shankar, who will take you around inside (for a very tiny sum of money). Photography isnt allowed Inside but Shankar took some stellar pics of me.
Need renovation. But still a good palace to give an idea about ancient Raja rule. Film shoots take place over here. Some rooms are locked as they are still used by the current king.
It is a really beautiful place , also known as city of hill stations, travellers can enjoy natural scenery and historical JAI VILAS PALACE
The palace was build by Raje Yashwant Rao Maukne. The stone used for this is syinite which was brought from Kalidhond which is 5 km away from its location. It was said that the waork of palace was complited the quary of stone was dumped and now from the geological department of india the survay was taken to find out the quary .The palace is a master piece of pink stone. There is a beatiful garden must be called forest having plants of Kaju everywhere.
The palace is a little away from the main road. Bikes can go close but cars have to be parked on the roadside and then you will have to walk. Its is a nice to watch place, nothing exceptional here though. When i visited, the palace was under some renovation work. I am not sure if you can check it out from the inside, as the doors were closed. On the back side of the palace your get wonderful view, as the peace is on a mountain top. This will be literally heaven during monsoons. If you are visiting with children be careful because the backside where the cliff is does not have any railing or anything. You must carry food and water as you wont have much options.
A very beautiful place to visit
Best place to visit with family and friends.Bikes allowed till top. Construction work is under process.Silent place view is awesome. Photography can be done easily.
Great Place and in good condition
Was closed but externally a magnificent building overlooking the plains below.

Amazing point, its historical place but its private property
It is in very well condition, given the fact it has built in recent period 1940/1947.

Looks good from outside.. strictly poor from inside
Palace is nice and good condition but should have taken more care of it.
Beautiful palace of jawahar must visit..inside the palace not allowed but you can visit outside the palace
Lovely place. Great construction and wonderful antiques.
