Located in Vadakkanthara Village, the temple with presiding diety Lord Shiva is believed to be older than the village itself .Historical evidence indicates that the idol was installed by The Great Sage Rishyashringar.The lord Shiva here is worshipped as Lord Thiruvenkattappan. Various festivs are celebrated like Thiruvathira, Shivrathri, vaikkathashtami ,Navrathri ,etc in a grand manner...this year (2019) it has been decided to perform Ashtabhandha Mahakumbhabhishekam on 10th April (Wednesday)..Join us and be a part!!
