We did RTPCR test twice from Dane lab, they were very committed and professional in their approach. Staff was very cordial. The procedure was done swiftly and smoothly. We found them very reasonable and the results were published within the time promised to us.

Did two RTPCR tests and both the times my experience was good. The staff is experienced and courteous. Good infrastructure and facilities. Got the reports sooner than expected.

First of all these guys said opening hrs starting from 7am when we reached there they started accepting the registration only after 7.30am and again they said the swab collection starts only at 8.45 it seems. The reason they justified is to wait peacefully then we will collect… and it’s raining there is no place to wait… finally got token call to collect the swab.. the lady who collected thr swab have no clue on how to collect the budd she pushed hard into thr throat even on both nose…it was pain like a hell.. such a worst experience. On top of that the government approved cost for pcr test is 500Rs but they took 520Rs and provided only bill for 500Rs no explanation for that and if we try travelling to o abroad they said it’s 600Rs and for this also they provide only 500RS bill. Looting public with crazy lab .. this reminds me the anniyan move if they took 20rs extra for domestic travelling for 1000 people a day they will be earning 20k INR/day without a bill that means for a month they will be earning 6lak without any bill .. same for international travellers they collect additional 100rs/test without a bill.. these lab owners become millionaires soon with public money without any taxi.. I would strongly recommend to think twice whoever is going to visit this lab for testing..

People need to go through all these negative comments before visiting Dane. The experience has been terrible. Also they have been charging rates higher than the government prescribed limits. Tell them youre testing in order to travel abroad and theyll rip off ₹600 straight away instead of ₹500. They wont give you a receipt for the ₹600 though. The receipt will be issued for ₹500.The lady who does the RTPCR literally has no clue on how the test has to be taken. All reviews complaining about the nostril pain is completely valid and true.

My experience with Dane lab has been good. They follow all protocols as they are NABL accredited lab. The results were delivered on time.

My experience with Dane is not satisfactory in terms of sharing the test result. I was told the test result would be shared on the same day by 8 pm IST however this has not been shared. Hence urge me to write this review . Despite multiple follow ups with Jasmine Bella, Arun ( collection agent ) and also directly to the Palakkad Dane office ….. no response from any of them . It’s really critical to gave the report shared on the same day … This delays the travel and rest of the plan .

They charge 600rs for QR coded rt pcr test report for international travellers and will give a bill for 500rs only. I had taken several rt pcr tests from various places in Kerala as well as from the UAE, but none so painful as they literally pushed it deep into the nostril making it an extremely painful experience

The Dane diagnostics lab at Shadimahal Kerala is one of the WORST centres for RT-PCR test. My and my family already had the RT PCR before Dane at 2 occasions and it was all smooth. Dane made my 5 year old bleed profusely from the nose while doing the RT PCR test as I watched helplessly!!! They shove the entire cotton swab right up into your nose to the point that even adults cannot sit comfortably, let alone kids!! To add, the person who takes the swab test threatens us to sit still else we might bleed! They show no mercy for even little kids!! I am so very disappointed and would never go there for anything again!!

Pure greed. Charged me 2500 INR for RTPCR test. Covid is money making machine for them. The staff who were taking the samples were so rude.

Im writing this review behalf of my brother. He was about to go to abroad where he worked. Since its mandatory to get negative on a RT PCR, he went to take the test. Primarily, he first gave sample in a lab near to Dane. But when they said it would take more than 24 hours for the result, he went to Dane. The result from the latter came as positive in the evening and the former as negative next day. When we called the Health Officials, they replied, that they would only consider positive result and take actions regarding the same.Is this how covid is spreading on this second wave?Who is responsible for this kind of action?Who should be held accountable?When called Dane officials, they replied in a harsh tone and shouted to us.Well done Dane and their customer service 👏👏

After reading through all these negative comments, I felt obliged to share my experience of the facility and their service. I have been to Dane atleast 5 times, once for my pregnant wife, once for my six year old son and thrice for myself.All of the negative reviews seem unfair to say the least.For starters, the crowd is well managed.Two, hygiene seems to be high on priority and trust me I am someone who is extremely pedantic around this topic. You get sanitizer from the cash counter, you are not required to touch anywhere at all. The door is opened by the assistant, they ask you not to touch anywhere, the seat of the stool is sanitizer before and after every patient, after the sample is taken they sanitize your hands too.Three, I only had a slightly unpleasant experience once when they asked me to look down in a certain way and they felt I wasnt doing it right, so there was a bit of sarcasm. Apart from that they act really professional and were extremely friendly with my son and my preg wife.Four, every single time the samples were drawn by a female not that it is important. Reference because one of the reviews mentioned they being uncomfortable. I mean comeon, we are there to give nasal samples. Why would one be uncomfortable with someone from the opposite sex drawing a sample. We are there for medical reasons not leisure.Yeah the rates charged were high, but I would rather go there to draw a sample than stand in front of medical college.It is unfortunate that they stopped collecting home samples making me rely on an alternative lab who still havent made it to my home yetSo in summary, dont rely blindly on negative reviews...

I work in a pharmaceutical company and so far I would have taken rtpcr tests atleast 10 times. Trust me guys Dane Diagnostics is NOT a place to go for your test. Even if this place gives you the report within a day (if you call and pester them), kindly take some effort to go elsewhere. It is not worth it.They charge 1700 rupees for one person. I have never seen such a worst display of behavior especially towards girls. Very very disrespectful and derogatory. They make you sit on a tiny chair. One guy will stand beside you to grab hold of your head so tight you will end up getting suffocated. Another guy will take the swab, poke it into your nose from the front side without being aware of how much it pains the person and not to mention the comments that they pass to each other about the patient. My nose even started to bleed. Worst experience. I would also request two female employees to be present when ladies are going in for the sample submission.

There is no concession for senior citizens....all are keeping a single line this leading very difficult situations for senior citizens. So please take necessary actions for this....for smooth management

You should assume sunday will be holiday! I called on Saturday and confirmed i can give sample on next day or not. They said that i can give sample until 2pm and i went to the lab and found its closed as it is sunday. No accuracy on the information provided.

Recieved the RTPCR test results within a day. Per test cost is 500 Rs currently. Also, please keep in mind before giving a negative review that they are taking risk everyday by serving for us. Given the situation, people should be supporting such institutions.

Very very very worst service. The only lab in palakkad that Ive seen ever with such irresponsibility. They told us they will contact us once the result is ready. But when we contacted them the they told it will be ready only by next week. But when we contacted after one week they are not responding. Then we went there. The point to be noted is that the result was already ready when they told us that the result will only be ready by next week. What the hell is happening there? Is it this how a medical lab should be? Very much to improve. So pity.

I had a really bad experience here. I done my covid 19 rtpcr test last day and I cannot get over the pain till now. The guy who do testing was sitting behind a glass which have 2 holes, he put his hands through it for testing.he inserted the bud too deep and because of not doing the test properly I had severe pain in my nose..and also had a bleeding.Im also working in medical field and had done 3 test per week from last June. I never had this worst experience before.Not at all recommended!!!

Very Bad Service... On 14th February 2021 Sunday I gone there for doing RT-PCR Test. As all are aware the corona situation is very critical. In the all Kerala list of Corona Testing Centres its the First one showing in the List for Palakkad District and you can check their working time for Sunday is 8:00am to 12:00pm. But when I reached at 8:30am the centre is closed. And nobody is taking the contact numbers given in their Display board. Poor Service in this Corona Time😷

I dont really know how to write a review nor i was interested in writing one,but my recent experience with dane lab made me write this review becauseyou got to give credit were its due.Pardon me for a long review.So recently(23/07/20) i visited dane diagnostics palakkad along with my friend to do covid test,inorder to travel to uae.I choose dane because it was one of the few and nearest ICA approved centre that i could locate from my place ,which is cochin.I had called the lab day before evening after getting the online token and the instruction given by the reception staff was clear.Although it was chaos outside the clinic when we arrived the lab staff with the help of the police were doing their best to manage the crowd.Since it was the first day of covid test for ICA ,nobody really knew what the procedure was or how long does it take for the results to come.So naturally every body including me was worried.Then i had a chance to talk to dr T.S.Jayaram&dr gauri. Their brief ,about the test,time for the results and the ica approval time frame,was precise and cleared all my doubts.I could do the test on the same day and was able to fly to uae within 2days.I must thank the staff in dane for the support specialy dr jayaram. Keep it up and god bless.

I am a nurse working abroad. RTPCR has been tested many times. In my experience, Swab testing is so bad only from this lab.It seemed to me that the person and assistant who had no training, work experience, or medical related information were taking the sample there. They take the swab collection in a similar way to putting a rope on a cows nose.Bleeding and pain in the nose on the one hand, and rude behavior on the other. Such a worst experience ..
