Chavara public school has indeed succeeded in being a second home to Miriya. Despite the restrictions and limitations imposed by the pandemic, the school has exhibited commendable excellence in offering flawless training to the children. It was indeed enlightening for us, as parents, to see the teachers making rapport with students in a virtual platform. The well planned and organised classes handled metiulously by the teachers of Chavara Public School is indeed praise worthy. This allows parents to be with them and help them with the lessons.Betty maam, the class teacher for LKG A is a teacher with the mettle to win the hearts of kids. The way she organises the classes and assembly is par excellence. The morals and values imparted through her words definitely have impacted the behaviour of my ward and I am grateful to have such a mentor for our kid.I should definitely appreciate the dedication of all the teachers headed by Principal &HM who put in double effort to make the classes lively though virtual by name.Deepa maam, the Malayalam teacher, is someone who has deeply influenced Miriya. The way she pampers, motivates and entertain the children is appealing and must definitely be appreciated. Her class is what my ward eagerly waits for. It is a blessing to have such teachers in KG section.The Oxford text books & active learn is really helpful in understanding the curriculum and also a means of infotainment. We would like to say that it is a perfect choice to practice the basic skills. The stickers teachers reward for the homeworks is something that is to be mentioned in a special way. My daughter eagerly waits to see the reward sticker sent by the concerned teachers. I should also mention that up-to-date general informations are also passed to the parents by the teachers which makes things very much crystal clear.The children got very well accustomed with the virtual platforms, and I believe it is because of the help of trained teachers of Chavara Public School. The only difficulty, though negligible, is finding multiple meetings in Teams simultaneously. The Montessori method was opted by us for our kid as it is well known for its practical, hands-on approach when it comes to teaching things to the children. This will surely make them remember what they learn for ever, unlike the cases of learning things by rot. Also, as I understand there is lesser workload for the children in this method when compared to other syllabi options available. This way, children get enough co-curricular activity time also, which I believe is as important as their academic learnings. It is very much appreciated that the Chavara CMI Public School has decided to continue teaching children following the Montessori principles. The teachers here are well trained in Montessori system to handle the children. As I understand there are not many other schools following the Montessori system in Kottayam district apart from Chavara Public School, which makes this school unique. Strongly guaranteeing and recommending for every student who want to succeed in life.But, dont choose Amal jyothi Bhavan as hostel since the sisters are very rude, partial and not at all student supportive. Atleast some of u will have a tough time there if u choose it as ur hostel.

This is a good school in pala that I have seen. Good teachers and they co-operate with us on science projects. It is good education. We are not able to see this school from roadside. There are advanced education systems like computer labs science Labs and smart classes. The all classes are smart classes.

I joined my son in LKG there , everything was fine until I saw his class teacher slapping him on the face for not following the que on the annual day.My son is very naughty, that doesnt mean teacher can hit him on the face.Ive the video of it.Im not going for legal action, because she might have done out of the tension of annual day.Anyway I changed the school and now he is studying in a very good school with good management and good teachers.Moreover there are 34 to 36 children in KG section, parents must think that whether our little ones get enough care and consideration in such a situation.

WARNING !!!Especially NRIs and kids from well brought upbackground――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――◆ They charge Rs. 7500 for hostel (almost equivalent as an AC paying guest sharing room for 2, including food), and provide facilities lesser than an average dormitory (and I mean it). Food is average, Room for 8 (for 11th graders) while its strength increases to 10 or 12 (for 12th graders)◆ One of the highlights of this hostel is youre easy to lose things from anywhere - be it your room or the locker! The reason why I say this is because my cousin has lost many many things from his room, but the one that costed the most was his mobile phone, which they keep safely in their lockers, until it was not found anymore. And what made things worse is that they never enquired whether he contacted his family during his weekly contact hours. And when we and he enquired about the phone, the reply from officials were so arrogant, that he considered it safe to stay back from these filthy greedy authorities (I am amazed whether they are truly Christians who cause such a shame to our community). No recompensation, no responsibility.◆ Another highlight is their bus service. The hostel is not too nearby the school, but its easy to access via the public bus. The kids ticket charge will be Rs.1/one way/day. Since the kids come back to hostel, they wont get concession, so theyll have to pay Rs. 8. For an academic year of 200 days, the maximum a kid will have to bear for his transport is Rs. 1800 ruppees, round it to Rs. 2000. Guess what??!! The transport facility provided by the institution (which is only available till 7:30 am) was made to be opted compulsorily during admission (as they do not allow kids to use other modes of transport on a daily basis), and the rate which they charge from one kid for an academic year is Rs. 9000!!! More than 4 times the normal charge.◆ If you want to get your clothes colors changed, feel priviliged to use the laundry service provided at the hostel (3rd party, supported by the management). All the whites will turn to colored, and the colored plains to multi-colored, and youll have to damage each cloth by writing your Room No. on its collars, if youre giving it to them. And the charges are so low - Rs. 12K for one year!!! You heard me right.――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――Summary:For this hostel which accomodates almost 350 kids, we can calculate that the EXCESS PROFIT they make is a roughly estimated Rs 2,41,50,000 (Two Crore Forty one Lakh Fifty Thousand Ruppees ONLY).I forgot to mention that this building was being used by a famous Coaching Centre too, during school hours, for conducting their classes, and thus, they may get rent from them too!!!Simply saying,you are paying DOUBLE the amount for the facilities your kid is receiving there, and for being treated as a prisoner! And that is directly sent to the never-ending greedy bellies of the management.If youre ready to lose your childs belongings and your money, this could be the best option!!!――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
