The village deserves kudos for pioneering in field of education to be excelsior in field of education.This village gave the district and not only this district of Hardoi its first Doctor of Philosophy but to other many adjourning Districts too. Latter this phenomenon resulted in to produce many Ph.Ds along with highly educated individuals too from this village.Another feather in the cap of this village goes to master Archers who were champions in Archery.Alas they are no more.Shri Ahivaran Singh Singh commanded this art perfectly.Shri Prati Pal singh wrote a illustrated book Dhanurved on Archery in detail as how to make perfect Bows and Arrows.He even delt in technology of making poisonous arrows too as were prevalent in our past days of valour .Shri Pratipal Singh is the one who did the feat of doing Doctorate in late 1940s when people not only in general but even educated ones didnt knew what Ph.D ment about.Yet another prominent personally deserves his name is Shri Raghu Singh been Zile dar of Katiyati Raj in early twentieth century as a collector and manager of monetary dues accrued to princy state of Katiyari which owned even aeroplanes in those days when a common man to have a bycles used to be dream for him .
