Happened to pass through this station on the way to Nagercoil from Trivandrum. A very small station surrounded by greenery on all sides, mostly coconut palms and local vegetation mostly mango and jackfruit trees.Trains, mostly the slower ones stop here for a minute or so. Sometimes when a fast train has to cross, then trains may stop for a longer duration. I was informed that there are some very old temples and churches in the town.The station has few passenger amenities.

Need a person to give tickets at anytime

No Facilities are available. Only a few trains stop here. Remote railway station. Track has been recently electrified as on 2017. Kulithurai station is only a couple of kilometers away where almost all the trains stop and is more accessible. Try to avoid this station unless you are more familiar with the area

Passenger and memu trains will stop here this station is very helpful to many people who are working in cities.It also helpful for students who are studying in cities like Thiruvanathapuram and Nagercoil

Passengers trains only stop here... But its useful and kind to have this Railway station in kazhuvanthitta. Many working peoples using this speciality ... Frankly said they can reach their office at time only bcz of this simple Railway station... Its connecting Nagercoil to trivandrum raily way stations.. This station separating Kerala and tamilnadu
