One of the high end department stores that I ever visited in the world (Isetan, Shinsegae, Kadewe). The customer service is exclusively different and very attentive, friendly, helpful eventhough some of them cant speak English well but they try their best with body gesture. The atmosphere and design of department store is modern and very clean with many signages Please refrain to eat and drink - to respect others. You may eat and drink in the dining area which is food mall at B1 or Namba dining maison at level 7,8,9.

Total amazing-ness... I love this department store because it showcases so many beautiful luxury brands, but most importantly, it has a mind blowing food hall with so many Japanese goodies that your head will spin.Located right by Namba station, the food hall is in the basement level, because lets get serious, were all here for the food! You can get everything from snacks to smoothies to sushi to bento to re-heatable gourmet dinners. It was earnestly difficult to make a choice because I wanted to eat everything I passed by. I ended up grabbing musubi because we were headed to dinner in an hour. The woman at the counter grabbed my three musubi, wrapped each one up individually in plastic wrap, put them in a container, wrapped the container with a white parchment paper, then wrapped that container in a pretty pink paper and then tied a ribbon around it. I basically want my whole life to take on this amount of extra, extra, extra, extra perfection, just like at Takashimaya...

Large multi-floor department store complex adjoining the train and subway stations via the basement, with some groceries and a huge variety of prepared foods in the basement, merchandise on the upper floors, and restaurants above that on floors 7 through 9. You can have a solid meal with an extensive variety of Japanese foods at the basement (including simple cooked vegetables, which are hard to find in this area), plus supplies for the week (assuming you have a refrigerator), all on a shoestring. During the hot summer months, they even pack your perishables with frozen gel packs at checkout. The only challenge with the basement is extremely limited seating. Diapers are hard to find in this area. We had to hunt around and ask someone on the sixth floor to dig them out from out back because there were none displayed on the shelves, although they have a play area in the children and babies section on the sixth floor.

A nice shopping center with many Japanese local and lux brands, which is the main reason we spent a whole day there. They provide 5% discount for foreingers as well as 8% tax free service. Very convenient. We loved the high standard services by the Japanese staff at most of the brands, they were professional and very helpful, even we had to use our terrible Japanese to communicate with them. They were always very kind and try their best to help. But mostly in the cosmetics area, most staff were actually Chinese, and they were okay, but we can easily feel that they are not at the Japanese quality level.

This is one of the famous, pricier department stores in Japan. You can find almost anything you want to buy here. There is a FREE childrens play area on the 6th floor. Kids from 0-6 can play here while supervised by their parents. Make sure to take off their shoes! You can store the shoes under the adult benches. Its a great place to take a break from shopping and let the little ones get out some of their energy.6階の小学生未満の子供遊び場がオススメします。
