This place has everything you want to buy in Japan at the best price. They also have tax refund for foreigner (5000¥ above). You need at least 2-3 hours for shopping here. They have a foodcourt at 1st floor with automated machine to buy meal tickets. The food is too much compared with other places at same price. Overall, we are happy.
Been in lots of Don Quijote stores and this must rank as my present favourite. It’s a few floors up and all the products are on one level. Everything ! Typically haphazard layout will have you going around in circles. An example is precooked containers of rice. The best value one wasn’t in the rice aisle but some distance away.Typical stuff but buckets more, I even browsed some of the electronics when I normally wouldn’t bother making the effort to go to a different floor. Again, you’ll find everything this store has to offer on one level.Lots of delicious flavoured soy milks, an extensive (humongous) lunch box selection, yokan, nuts, phone cases, cables, gloves, fridge magnets, and on and on. The checkout staff were polite and friendly.
Located right next to Shin-imamiya station. This store captures the whole 2nd floor of this building which is great! Shoppers do not have to climb up narrow stairs anymore. While having only1 floor but it is very big and have plenty of space for each section... Really big toys area, huge stationary zone, large supermarket zone and etc. This place is not crowded like other stores and not too many tourists. Already the best store for us for shopping spree.
Not too crowd and the best is one-floor-for-all is far better than other branches... easily to stroll and find the goods.Edited 21Aprr2019 :There plenty of sitting area at the back, very helpful and save your legs and life!!!😁 And Donki lounge before the toilets that so much helpful.Floor plan added.Big lockers at lower price at the first floor!!500Yen for biggest size.
My favorite shopping place in the entire Japan! nothing like you have seen before, its a crazy colorful supermarket with all weird stuff plus of course normal items and even foods, if you cant find something here, you cant find it anywhere. Great friendly staff, its open from 9 to 5am for no stop shopping!
If you are looking for asian foods, come and visit Mega Don Qujiote in Dobutsuen-Mae Station or Jr Shin-Imamiya. Theyve got Vietnamese, Thai, Korean and Filipino foods, frozen milkfish, Bagoong, chicken feet, Chicharon and many more. Just be sure to come early or else, therell be no more left for you 😂.
We can purchase any kinds of product within reasonable price.
It’s a great place with just about everything. It’s a bit difficult to navigate but that’s just because there’s so much there
Massive and optimum use of space (by the shop!). Not easy to find what you want, unless you carefully look for it. Checkout was fast and tax refunds were quick and efficient. We picked up a lot of Japanese snacks that were available for bargain prices. Look out for some nice discounted offers on some products.
Nice location: only 1 minute walk from JR Shinimamiya station or Metro Doubutsuenmae station. Large variety: basically everything you need for your daily life. Long business hour: 9am-5am (next day). Cheap price: much cheaper than other supermarkets in Japan.
One of the cheap japanese market:
Most of the things I want to bring home were found here! The location is easy to find as well. Most things are affordable and the employees were very helpful when I went here.but I noticed the Chinese tourists who were cutting through lines and really rude.It does not change how I will rate this shop, because the Japanese locals and employees were helpful when I asked questions.
Ok
Every floor is a mess. Everything was placed tightly in shelves, it was so difficult for me to find a nail clipper. However there are many gems to be discover in this organised chaos. Tourist can get tax free for their shopping here. I bought more than just a nail clipper in the end. Shopping experience was unique and interesting. I loved it. Prepare to spend more than 30mins to fully explore the whole building.
Huge space, with no real logical path of how items are displayed. Hard to walk through and find what you’re looking for, and not as cheap as you think it would be.I bought a few items thinking it was a deal, we ended up spending about 14,000 yen for just a few things! Went to a cosmetic store in Dotombori and found the same things for much cheaper. How disappointing :(Also if you’re a foreigner, take yourself passport with you as they’ll give you refund on the taxes.
Crazily inexpensive massive merchandises ranging from prestige brand ladies bag accessories to automobile accessories to cosmetics to snacks..... There are some unique stuff though.....cosplay clothing and masks.
Not too crowded like the shop in Dotonbori...they have ready to eat meals in good price. So much selection of snacks..champion clothes and other brands. Sanrio collection was good.. Heaps of hello kitty stuff and Pokemon. Cosmetics and skincare good price. Bring your passport to avail of tax free incentive at cashier 7.
Here you can anything you need to buy Japans souvenirs, clothes, branded bags, perfumes, and food with the lowest price compared other stores. No need to worry for foreigners about tax refund, because it has the tax refund counters. But the messy arrangement, need to be improved.
Must go to. Great for finding souvenirs and things to bring back from your trip. Great prices and all kinds of items.
Theres a lot of items in this place, and having everything on the same large floor makes it easy to move around. Theres also more toys here than normal Don Quijote too. Theres also far less people than those in the popular areas. However , prices of medical supplies and skin care products are slightly higher and limited only to the more popular items. The layout and placement of products are confusing too
I think this is one of the best Don Quijote in Japan. Compared to the other usual cramped branches, this places aisles are wider and easier to walk through. Its a giant maze of goodies inside, and I always end up taking 1-2 hours in here looking at all the weird stuff. To be frank, even after TAX-FREE rebates the prices are not the lowest in the area -- but hey, its got everything you can think of and so much more.Since its open until 4AM so you can always rely on the MEGA Don Quijote to take care of your last minute shopping before packing for home.
Went there a few times to get snacks and food. The cooked food is super cheap and taste good. Heheh
This place is really like a huge maze. But there is so much things on sale! The prices are great too! So you would really spend a long time in the store getting lost as well as buy a lot of things to bring back home! Beer is insanely cheap here so I really love this store!
Good place
Any foreigners and Japanese can purchase ,eat & have fun. Great items
The store is right next to subway station and open very late. Its less crowded than some of the other Don Quijote in Osaka. It sells a lot of different categories of items, makeup, clothes, electronics, Japanese souvenirs and food. The food selection is not that big but if you go late, maybe after around 9pm the fresh food such as lunch boxes gets discounted
Great place to find cheap, affordable, and unique Japanese things. Most importantly, it is open 24/7. So, you will not have to worry not being able to come there ^^
There are so many (no wait). There is too MUCH items to see & buy from food souvenirs to nice gifts & gadgets. We entered with little expectations as we had thought it just a typical store but ended up purchasing a lot. They also have an assortment of Japan only chocolates like the limited edition KitKats & even costumes etc. A visit is mandatory of you visit Osaka.
A great store for buying everything you could want! Also have helpful staff at the medical section to help sick foreigners, although get your sign language ready, as there isnt much English spoken there.Worth a visit if youre travelling on a budget in Osaka!
The store with the big penguin logo on its building or front door! Lots of stuff to buy from there, ranging from different categories from different brands. Prices are quite good, some products are cheaper than anywhere else. Tax refund available for tourists. Layout and placement of products can be quite messy and confusing but it is not as crowded as other don quijote stores. Packing materials are available at the checkout area if youre buying that much like i did. :)
A chaotic shopping experience that tempts you to explore its maze-like depths while you desperately search for bargains. Nevertheless, easy to get sucked in, and with patience, one obtains satisfying results such as cookies and other omiyage that are hard to find elsewhere. Im also amazed they offer fried chicken.
A must go to if your are visiting Japan this wasnt the best don Quijote i visited in the Japan it was a bit messy but well worth going and shopping. This was the biggest one i visited.
Super convenient with the station and my hotel (Business hotel chuo). Prices and variety are super great and you can find almost anything you need.
Big discount store near Shin-Imamiya station where one can get most essential stuffs and food there.
The place is good sells a variety of good. The food there is good at a fair price. Furthermore its open till late if there is no place at night you want to go. Good place to stop by here
One of the quieter Don Quijote but still carry most of the same stuff as other store. You can shop for almost anything Japan here, food, clothing, electronics. It also open very late so you can take your time looking at everything. If you are new to Japan, you should visit at least once.
The place is very big and has really great variety for all you may need. But the staff at the tax refund counter were rude :/
Huge range and easier to walk around than most other Don Quijotes
Its nice. The prices are low and the staff are approachable
Doesnt have all the same items as the Dotonbori location (might have more tourist focused items on stock). But the area is 1 big floor and has much less people. You wont feel pressured shopping. You can leave your items In a coin locker and go to the zoo, then come back for your items after the day is done. Good location overallv
Operating hours is from 9am to 5am according to the staffs there so midnight shopping is not a problem.Tax refund is available for a purchase including food items over probably over 5,400 yen.Almost everything is covered from ready-to-eat food to electronics.Have a great discount for drinks as much as 60% comparing to 7 eleven. However, encountered a bad-attitude staff sitting at the watch sale counter who ignored my request to show me an items locked in a.... But another staff not sitting at the watch counter kindly helped me show the item. The bad-attitude staff sitting at the watch sale counter should be lectured not to act like a lazy dummy in order to give a good experience to customer so minus a star for this bad-attitude staff sitting at the watch sale counter !
Would have given it 5 starts, but they only have a single pair of air jordan 1s. It broke my heart 😞
Ive visited this place last nov 2018. I can say this is the best don quijote branch. They have so many cook food to choose and the place spacious..
Everything you need in one floor. Certainly a place to check out when in osaka. Easy access via train too
For a Don Quixote, this place is pretty good. Large selection, well organized, and also has a grocery section. All on one main floor as opposed to multi-floor Donkis with escalators. The entrance seems to be a smoking area so lots of second hand smoke wafts into the store. Easily accessible from the subway station. Tax-free counter for purchases over 5000 yen. Also has a Donki rest area with vending machines and a seating, near the restroom.
Wow. Yes this store will definitely give you the wow factor to shop more. And if you bought more than 5400yen you are eligible for tax free
It has alot of things but the organisation of the items makes it abit difficult to find things. Other than that, it is pretty good for shopping as it is tax free.
The place that I met him that long gone. I miss him. Huhu
The shop that Wilkinsons in the UK wishes it was, they sell a little bit of nearly everything. Not as cheap as some places (some small things they sell can also be obtained in 100 yen shops), but its all in one place!
Has everything you need, helpful staff, great for foreigners like me too!
Loved the place. Complete item sold in here. You can find everything in here. You can take your time shopping and there are not much queues in here.
Very great Don Quijote. Not that pack compared to the one in Tokyo and very big place to shop around. You can find almost everything in here.
If you buy more than 5000 yen. You can refund 8% tax. Tax free goods are includes medicine. comestics. foods, clothes & snacks. Highly recommend that travellers are buying here at once to get the tax refund.
This ドンキホーテいis very good place Osaka sinnsekai 5m walk in sinimamiya station 2m walk is very easy to be comfortable with the best possible location. and 2f japnese standardability all over and veay good .staff is very kind full and service very good.
Pretty thorough shop. An eclectic mix of everything. If you are a tourist staying in the area, the deli/meats go on sale around 9-10pm
A more complete one with wider selection of food. Less crowded than the namba outlet and prices of some items like luggages were actually cheaper so we got one from this branch.
Better than the non-mega stores because its less crowded (based from my last visit) and I felt there were more items per section.
Best selection!!from most Don Quixote more locals here than tourists.
It has a large variety of products. It offers good prices. If you are a broke tourist like me, this is where you find cheap stuffs. The aisle is smaller than most markets, not very convenient, but the local customers arent looking for convenience either.
This place is ridiculously huge. It has the usual Don Quijote souvenirs, tech, and daily use goods but it also has a large grocery section and a pharmacy. The prices at the grocery store seem better than most of groceries nearby.
Our airbnb host recommended us this place. Things here can be a little cheaper than other more touristy places in Osaka. Have quite a wide range of products as well (food, souvenirs, branded goods, etc). Tax free if youre a tourist spending above 5000 yen, but this applies separately for consumables (such as food, snacks) and non-consumables (e.g. one piece merchandise) so do take note.
This is the cheapest place around for food. Show up in the evening for even better discounts on prepared food. The breaded chicken was especially good.
We went before midnight and the place is still bustling with people (mostly other foreigners). Grab a floor plan before moving along your shopping plans to make sure youll cover the whole place and not just go on circles.
A lot of stuff can be found here. Price is affordable.
Wow..love it this branch !!!Too many choices & lots of products as well.
Huge stall selling basically anything and everything including those weird and funky Japanese stuff.
Spacious store compared to Namba branches. Staffs were mostly friendly, but the ones serving at tax refund counter are usually unfriendly unfortunately..
Deadset you can buy anything in here, pretty sure they sell car parts here
Chaos incarnate in a mega shopping store. You can buy anything here: childrens toys, food, furnishings, adult toys, etc.
It is right outside the subway stations exit no. 5. It is open until wee hours of the morning except you are restrained by the closing of the subway station which is around 11pm. It is our best option for late night shopping spree, so you dont waste precious daylight for sightseeing. You get instant tax refund.
Everthing you need you can get here... very huge mall
The only thing better than a Don Quijote is a Mega Donki. 😍
Kinda reminds me of a K-Mart. I wasnt crazy about the layout of the store. It felt confusing especially for a foreigner here. The saving grace was the many different flavors of kit-kats they had available!
Everything you need, you will find it here! I miss japan.
Don Quijote is a really big place where you can buy a lot of stuff. Best midnight shopping ever. Only thing I can criticize is that is too big and you have problems to find your way inside it. All in all I will come back there and back to Japan. Great place
Has just about anything you can think of, from dolls to steak to vibrators. Expensive though and a completely overwhelming maze.
The customer services is wonderful and the sellers are very kind and helpful.
Found here different kitkat flavors. good place for shopping foods to carry back from your vacation here
