This company spoofs you to appear to be the hotel website, then applies huge markups and fees to the rate you can find directly or through other platforms. They require full payment up front, (not required elsewhere) and if you decide to cancel as allowed per their T&C, they drag their feet with a refund for weeks and months. Basically a cash management scam. I will NEVER use them again!

My mother was trying to book a reservation directly, but the gentleman said no he would take care of it. That she could not talk to the hotel. He set up a reservation at the wrong place. Contacted them to let them know. Charged her card and would not give her money back or even a credit. She was out $800 plus she had to spend another $800 to stay in the right place. This website is awful. They also take advantage of the elderly. DO NOT BOOK with these people. We filed a complaint with the BBB.

This company scams you! I made a reservation for one night at a Santa Fe, NM hotel for an advertised price. When I pushed the pay button, it charged me almost $100 more. I can immediately called to cancel and the service rep informed me that it was non-refundable. I immediately called the hotel and explained the situation who said that they would be happy to refund my money and to let Reservations.com know. I called them again and they refused. I escalated to their billing devices department and just got a notice they they refused. This company stole almost $300 from me for a hotel room I did not use!! Never again and I will let everyone I know what has happened! This is theft.

Check URL and the web page when you are making hotel reservations. I was unknowingly ended up on this site and at the end of check out screen, it will show fees of $19.99 and only when you place your curser over, it will say non refundable. Your hotel might have full refund policy but not this site. only service they are offering is to up charge you more for the same stay, charge you service fee and has limited options. The best bet is to go directly to the hotel web site but also check to make sure you are on correct URL or hotel web site, not a 3rd party scammers like this company. Do not trust 5 star reviews on their own site also.

I tried to make a reservation for a conference but because of Covid the conference went virtual. When I booked this I was actually on the hotel website but somehow got redirected to Reservations.com. How did that happen? I Tried to modify the reservation and of course spoke with a person who was not fluent in English and she said the reservation would stand. I do not understand how companies like this stay in business. So, we lost our payment. Never book with this company. Go directly to the website of the hotel and book....and its less expensive. How many reservations need to be canceled and/modified and this company wont do that and how much money have the kept from people for unavoidable situations. In this case it was over $1500.00.

I had to get a hotel room because my son has to have brain surgery and when I called to get cancelled they said 7 to 10 days to find something out but I haven’t heard back so I can try and get the reservation for the right day for his surgery and I keep getting a run around and no information back. I will never use reservations.com again. My sons health is at risk because of this and all and I can’t condone a company that treats it’s customers like this.

Reserved a same day hotel stay and about $70 in fees were added on after booking. Called 5 minutes later after receiving the email and to cancel and they did not allow it. Even airlines let you cancel within 24 hours. Horrible customer service. Use someone reputable of book straight through the hotel.

I googled the hotel I wanted. Instead of its web site up came reservations.com very much attempting to look like the hotels web site. Fooled me, so for a 19.99 non-refundable charge the booked a room for more than the hotels going rate. Please save yourself some money and book direct.Avoid reservations.com. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Booked a hotel room and they charged my card plus $19.99 reservation fee immediately. I thought I had booked directly with the hotel.Cancelled my reservation the next day when I realized I booked through reservations.com. They refunded the charge after a few days but did not refund the fee. Their rate was 25% higher than the rate I got when I booked directly with the hotel. Lesson learned: make sure when searching for a hotel, the hotel name is not followed by reservations.com. Skip the first few advertised search result and go down the list to find the direct link to the hotel.

Watch out! There are so many better places to do your business. Their advertised rate was $1.00 cheaper than the competitor. However, when I checked out, they hid over $25 of additional fees in the fine print that pops up on the right side of the screen. Not until you finish paying does the process put in front of you all the add-on fees and how much you were actually charged. Included is a $19.99 service fee that is non-refundable if you cancel along with other fees. And, be assured they will stick it to you when you try to cancel like they did me. Oh, and they actually were only 1 penny cheaper than the competition. I guess they round down. Even with the cancellation fee, I still saved $5.00 for a 1 night stay by going to the competitor.

Cancelled a reservation literally 1 hour after making it, they still took the money, charged me, it cleared and NOW I have to wait 10-15 business days for a refund? Nobody else does this!!!!!Who clears /charges a purchase AFTER a purchase has been declared canceled? They got their money now I have to sit, wait and possibly fight them 2 weeks from now. Thanks a lot, Never Again. If 0 stars were possible, I would give a zero as even one star is too generous. Thought I was making a reservation with the actual hotel website but thet somehow pirated it and I ended up making a reservation through them that was more than $30 more per night. Companies like this are why the internet needs to be regulated. Dont fall for it.

This business is nothing more than a SCAM! They prey on the hotels that you are searching for online. The URLs they use make it look like you are actually booking through the hotel directly. Also, they use the same images the hotel uses on their own websites to make it look like you are booking through the hotel. The cancellation policies they have are a joke. Dont use this site....but how would you know, they scam you in thinking you are going directly through the hotel!

After travel with my family and young son for 9hr. We book an hotel through reservation.com which showed on there site for that hotel as 9 available room which are going fast book now. After booking and paying, we showed up about 3 minutes later just to be told there are no vacancy even through their website said there is 9 vacancy. I quickly called there customer service hot line just to be told there is no refund. leaving myself and my family out in the cold with no options to find another hotel for that night. Now a day later after leaving the state I was in, a e-mail was send by reservation.com saying I was a no show at the hotel I had book. Even through I have video and picture proof that I was at the hotel the day of my reservation. Its in everyone best interest just not to do any business with this company and there website..!!

I was trying to find the official site for Fairfield/Marriott properties in Google, and of course 100 links for hotel reservations surfaced. I thought reservations.com was the official link (as it was listed under the hotel name), and made a reservation for $99 for one of our business associates coming into town. Imagine my surprise when I was charged $19.99 (20%) as a service fee. GRRR. Its also non-refundable.This hotel is only five minutes from my home. I feel foolish and angry. Rest assured, I will AVOID reservations.com in the future.UPDATE 4/29/2021 - Reservations.com has refunded the $19.99 service charge on my one night hotel reservation. Had to repeat every letter and number throughout the entire booking. pretty frustrating after going through last name, first name, address, hotel name, card number etc.... E...as in elephant, T as in Tom, C as in cat. And it was still wrong

WARNING THIS COMPANY IS NOT ACCREDITEDTHROUGH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!! Ibooked a room for 3 nights. The day before my trip I tested positive for covid. I called to have my reservation held until my quarantine was up. I was told that wasnt an option. I will say that I booked a non refundable room. Which is why I was hoping I could just be credited for a later stay. After that was rejected I asked for a full refund. I was asked to send in my covid results and I did. I have gotten nothing but one email after another telling me they are looking into it please continue to wait. Its been over a month. No one will help or assist. Customer Support says they cant help it has to be handled through finance. Finance doesnt have a number and can only be reached through email. Which is getting me nowhere. Also was told I cant speak to anyone higher than a supervisor. I asked for a corporate number to call and was told no. I would highly suggest NEVER using this company to make reservations. Taking your money they can do. Helping you they cant do. I even waited until I was cleared to travel and booked with them even though they hadnt yet refunded my other reservations. Wont be making the mistake of using this company again.

Just a SCAM organization.....Made a reservation on line. Did not receive an email to confirm the reservation or other information regarding my reservation (I input the incorrect address, so this was my error). Nonetheless, I was nervous about there reservation, I called. It took about 45-60 minutes to talk with someone there to requested a refund,. I ended up talking to the supervisor in Manila. He told me there was a $30 hotel cancellation fee and would refund all but that amount. I pushed further and he offered an additional $19.99 refund. Tho I thought that was odd, I said ok. Checking my credit card statement, I noticed that they initially charged me the full amount of the hotel reservation PLUS $19.99 for making the reservation. That information was not disclosed when I made the initial reservation. So, I was SCAMMED, MISINFORMED with their on line process....Clearly , for me, these people, living in a different country, have no business savvy on how to get and keep customers. Kind of like a car salesman, Ive got your money , now get outta here and leave me alone!Yes, I would STRONGLY recommend booking directly with the hotel!! A lesson learned, that I will never forget!!! Good luck to you if you choose to use these people for reservations! Oh by the way, The price I got from the hotel was exactly the same as thru Reservations.com, so WHY not deal directly thru the hotel???

Beware when you are looking for a hotel online. I was booking a room online at a local hotels website for my son and his family who were visiting me for New Years. I booked the room and after I my credit card was charged my confirmation said Non refundable. I realized I was no longer on the local hotel website but was on Reservations.com. I immediately called Reservations.com and told them due to the Pandemic, I was not comfortable with a no refundable reservation. They said they could not reverse the charges or change the reservation to refundable. They offered to send an email to management and would notify me in 7-10 if they would credit my account. I DID NOT WANT TO CANCEL All I wanted was the room to be refundable up to 48 hours like most hotels offer. The rate Reservations.com was actually the same as the rate on the local hotel website. So there was a $0- savings and I got less -- non refundable. I hung up and just hoping all goes well and everyone stays covid -free so we can enjoy the hotel.policy. I

HORRIBLE! RIP you off with hidden fees and when you call them they hang up on you and tell you its non refundable. Keep calling them and threaten to sue them and theyll eventually give you your money for the room back. But they keep the $20 service fee no matter what. If I could give zero stars, I would. My room was $109, but my total was $157. So, that’s. $46 in fees and taxes to stay at a Hampton Inn, which includes a 19.99 fee that goes straight to reservations.com. Unfortunately, I was slipping and they got me and they would not let me cancel with refund even though I called right back and the salesperson never stated that the room was not refundable. They presented their website as if I were calling Hampton Inn directly. The customer service representatives were rude and a little proud of their ability to be shady. Don’t get bamboozled like I did. It’s a really shady way to do business.

Today I called to book a hotel and jumped out of their phone number. I thought it was the phone number of the hotel I wanted to book. They were very unprofessional and asked for my zip code address. I told them many times and I got the zip code address wrong. I also booked the wrong hotel to another one. I have confirmed it countless times with them. This company is THE MOST DECEITFUL AND MISLEADING company I have ever dealt with. I went online to make a hotel reservation, I clicked on the hotel, had no idea at all I was on reservation.com because the website is designed to look just like the hotel website. I got the room I wanted and wanted to confirm, however the page never showed me a breakdown of fees. The cost of the room was $139.00, I clicked on that and the next thing I know, I get a screen saying that my transaction was complete. I did not know the total until I got a confirmation email- the total I ended up paying was $193.02!!!! I immediately called the customer service number (which was on the email I received) to tell them to cancel the transaction and ask why I was never given a breakdown of fees prior to the site confirming the reservation. I was sent a breakdown of fees in an email, the sales tax was DOUBLE what the actual hotel charged in sales tax. I asked how that is possible, they said that they have to charge a third party tax. WHY WOULD ANYONE USE THIS WEBSITE??? Of course when I told the useless customer service representative I wanted to cancel my reservation, she informed me that all of their transactions are nonrefundable. Of course they are, this is what thieves do! My friend booked at the actual hotel website and only paid $150.00 total!!!! Im not sure how this company gets away with this. They make their website look just like the hotel website so you have no idea that youre about to get screwed out of money. I couldnt continue with this review without giving it a rating. AVOID!This is what happened to me. I used this website to book a hotel stay, not because of the price but because they showed availability while others didnt. The hotel had several limitations and restrictions that were not informed at the moment of the booking, neither at its own website. At some point I decided to leave the hotel before the end of my stay. The hotel apologized, recognized the problem and did not charge for the unused nights. They didnt charge Reservations.com, but the website has refused to return my money. This is crazy, they were paid for their service despite of anything, paid the hotel less and charged me for the full cost.Not to mention the whole back and forth involving themselves, the hotel and I. Completely careless and unprofessional. Dont use.

DO NOT USE RESERVATIONS.COMWent online to book a Hyatt hotel. Was doing it quickly. Well, silly me, didnt note that this was a third party site. It kind of looked like I was going to the Hyatt site. I went and booked only to realize that it was this other site. Difference in cost between reservations.com and Hyatt was nearly $130 (see picture). Same room, same conditions. I cancelled (with some difficulty) and rebooked but they keep $20 for their trouble and say I may not see my refund for 30 days. Not happy at all.

The place is a scam! I still have not received a credit back to my credit card upon canceling a fraudulent reservation. It has been over their 7-13 day refund policy. I specifically asked if I was booking with the hotel and was told I was! They are deceitful and not trust worthy! Stay far, far away from this company!

IF YOURE IN CANADA: While it is true that they book your hotel, they are not quick to specify that the display prices are USD and they charge a service fee which makes the final invoice more expensive than booking directly with the hotel. Will not make that mistake again.

This company is very deceiving, I tried to book a hotel and I could not get it to accept my dates for reservation, it kept taking me back to the month prior, thought I had it set and hit reserve, got an instant email, noticed the date was wrong, called immediately and they will not change the date.Said they will charge me anyway. This is really horrid, I asked to speak to a supervisor and they would not let me. Now I have to spend time calling corporate, not sure I will get resolution.I will never use Reservations.com again. All the other sites I have used in all my travels have been decent to work with. This company is HORRID!!!!!!!!!!!

Never, ever use this company or any other Expedia affiliate.We also thought we were booking directly with the hotel. We later learned that reservations.com pays to be the first search result and the hotel is unable to get it changed unless reservations.com chooses not to renew.In our case, we were charged for several nights, instead of the single night we actually stayed. Reservations.com and Expedia basically played ping pong with my dispute, despite assistance from the hotel. Reservations.com appears to have no live customer service, chat only, and the wait to speak with a human at Expedia is hours long. There is even a wait to chat with a virtual agent. Dont bother in the event of a improper charge. Just cut to the chase, and dispute the charge with your credit card issuer.The term Kafkaesque is overused, but an apt description of the Expedia experience.

Worst company ever to book through. The site says all in CAD and they charged us in USD and then would not refund us once we made the reservation so we paid $200.00 for $100 room. They also add service fees as well, so do yourself a fovor and just call the hotel directly so you dont get ripped off. TRUST ME! Even the hotels themselves will tell you! DONT USE A BOOKING SITE! and if you have to use one keep this one as far away as possible. Unless you dont like your money, then spend away.

This is by far the best restaurant I have been to in a couple of years. My friends brought me here for my birthday the other day and it made me so happy. The restaurant is pretty cramped; probably holds only 40 or 50 people and everyone is squished together. This also makes it hard to hear each other but somehow doesnt stop it from being cosy and romantic.

This company advertises Free Cancellation but charges a service fee when cancelling so it is clearly NOT free. I had to wait two hours to speak to management and was told they would not refund it despite the false advertising. I spoke with Mark, who said that he had no supervisor I could speak to. These business practices are unethical and should be investigated.

The policy says no longer wait time of 5 min to get a live agent on the phone. Not only was I able to get through right away to make a reservation, but God for bid you want to cancel because I was on hold for 43 min, and then was hung up on when they finally picked up the phone . Finally got an agent on the phone only to be placed o hold again and again and again. Long story short I now have ton pay a service fee of 19.99 to cancel in spite of the horrible service received. I will never use them again and I would suggest the same for anyone booking a hotel. Its less to go directly to hotel site. I repeat I will never use this company again.

The company is not military friendly! I asked them for an itemized receipt for my hotel stay so I could be reimbursed from the military. They said they do not provide itemized receipts. So I will not be reimbursed for my stay eventhough I was on official military duty. I will never use them again!

Terrible company. Rude and probably a scam. They take your money and book through expedia. If you have a problem you have to wait for 30 minutes and give your info to three different people who insist on bringing in a third party to record your personal and credit card info. Expedia does not condone their activities. Shame on google for allowing this site to come up. Oh when I told the supervisor (manager was unavailable) that he didnt need more than my name, address, and last four of my credit card, he refused to take my reservation number to look it up unless he was allowed to record my full CC number with expiration date and CCV. I made a reservation based on the cost that was advertised ($50). Once the transaction was complete extra fees were disclosed, but not until it was complete ($82)! Then when I tried to cancel I was told this cost was non-refundable.

Great ExperienceI have used this company a handful of times now and have yet to have any issues. Always very straight forward with the booking process and the prices never seem bad either. I travel a lot and often at short notice and so its imperative I have access to a simple and quick website when booking my hotels. This site checks all my requirements and I shall continue to use with confidence.

This website is a joke, I got triple charged and was informed that the reservation did not go though, asked for them to cancel the transactions and after being on the phone for over an hour and transferred from one person to another to just tell me theres nothing they can do, for me to wait until the money goes back into my account. I dont have that kind of money to just wait 1-3 days, if theres no reservation they should be able to cancel the payment right a way. BTW the call center is somewhere overseas and the English is hard to understand.

I was traveling after Hurricane Florence so my plans had to change last minute on some of my reservations. These guys helped me settle everything with the hotel changes even when the room was prepaid and non-refundable. Very helpful and quick to respond.

It seemed fishy so I called the hotel and find out that didn’t even cover half my stay and they don’t even have rooms like the size described in my booking. This was only 20 mins after booking with this company. I immediately called them and explained that I wanted a refund since it did not provide me with a room and I do not have a place to stay. And all they do is tell you repeatedly that they do not provide refunds under any circumstances. They do not listen or respond to what you’re actually saying. (It’s quite the scam process they have going on). So, I’m out the $253 and have no hotel room. They just took the money. I’m planning to report as fraud to my credit card company but have to wait until the transaction completes posting.

So, I had a problem. Somehow the right hotel but in the wrong city was reserved. Reservations web site says no refunds are allowed once you agree and buy the reservation. In my case it was more than $1200. It was so upsetting. I called and reported the mistake. Reservations investigated and in a day had my refund ready and sent to my credit card. I believe it was an honest mistake and they were fair and prompt. I’ll be very happy to do business with them next time. Big thanks from me.

I booked a room with them thinking it was the hotels website because it looked the exact same. The room said it was $160 per night, ok not bad. After booking I didnt look at the total cause I assumed I would be charged the standard tax rate and fees. I MESSED UP!! They charged me and Extra $282.54 tax and service fee plus $14.99 for a single person booking(5 Night Stay). This averaged my room cost to be $230 per night!! After contacting to fix, HORRIBLE Customer Service!! I looked up other 3rd Party bookings and I would have only been charged $70 compared to $28.54 plus $14.99 STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent site. Helped me secure a reasonable room at a location of my liking. Thought the first time was a fluke but getting a great rate twice proves they are good at why they do.

I was planning a week’s trip to LA to visit a few friends. I wanted a good accommodation, so I started looking for stays on reservations a month before. And I wasn’t disappointed with what they had to offer! I booked the Westin Bonaventure and had an awesome stay while at LA. Thanks to reservations !

This is a deceitful company and should be shut down. They pose as the hotel, overcharge you, and never tell you your reservation is non-refundable. When I called to complain i was hung up on, laughed at, then left on hold til finally I gave up. If you get reservations.com hang up immediately and go to the hotel site direct.

If I had to choose between giving a money to an expert to find a good deal according to my budget and needs and doing all the research and other stuff by myself, I will better make sure to avoid any stress and get things done for me. Lot of fun

Total rip off. Beware if you make any reservations with these thieves that you can not cancel even though the hotel allows cancellation reservations.com will keep your money. They promised us a total refund and now 2 months later and nothing. Stealing money from people during Covid is low.

L came across this website on my mobile phone, while i was driving and wanted the room on I-75. called the reservation desk and i was able to get the room same day, great easy service, agent was nice enough to take time to find the room on the exit i wanted. i recommend this site.

My son got in a serious accident and I need to be with him but can’ get a refund, the confirmation says refund is what the motels policy, motel told me they could help me if I would made Reservation with them. This company will not refund because of the language that they deceive you with. Will never use this again and everybody I can tell I will.NEVER WILL USE RESERVATIONS. COM again

Very mis-leading, attempted to place reservation on hotels website, only to find it was not, and after $42 in taxes and fees for a $140 charge; and what are fees, and then another $19.99 non refundable service fee. Cancelled reservation, called hotel direct and saved $50 -- they would not budge on refunding the $19.99. NEVER AGAIN - IM TELLING EVERYONE.

Awful experience. The prices were not the cheapest and when booking over the phone the service is not very good. Not only that but they never sent me an email to confirm my trip! I was put on hold for over 20 minutes when trying to call back to get help to get a receipt! I would avoid using this service as there are much better options out there with far better service and prices.Additionally, every review on Google Maps with 5 stars appears to be fake as most accounts have only a few reviews. Not local guides.

This company has the worst customer service, and the most fine print, ridiculous no-refund/cancellation policy. Asked to change a hotel reservation to one night later less than 12 hours after booking and they would do nothing! Kept stating their policy, we are not asking for any refund only to change a booking that is a month away by 1 day! Poorest customer service and attitude. Their mission statement on Instagram is to provide a human touch to online travel booking...what a joke🤬

DO NOT EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY! I was a quoted a certain price for a hotel room, and was not told in advance of the $50 in service fees. I was not made aware of this until after I clicked submit on my reservation and an entirely new amount was charged to my card. I immediately called their customer service hotline, which was a joke. Even calling within seconds, they refused to cancel my reservation or refund me. Every customer service representative I encountered was rude and not helpful. This company is a perfect example of what POOR customer service looks like. I will never use them again.

Horrible customer service. My employee booked a room for a seminar and when he got to the hotel he was told there was no room reservation for him. This company so far has refused to refund the reservation fee. If you need customer service good luck getting anyone who speaks decent English.

Buyer beware! USE BOOKINGS.COM INSTEAD of reservations.com!! I booked the same Holiday Inn Resort for the same week on both Bookings.com and Reservations.com.  Both said no cancellation fee if cancel before a certain date.  I needed to cancel the rooms over a month before our reservation date, weeks before the cancellation deadline.  It was super simple on bookings.com. I simply went to their website, entered my reservation #, and hit cancel, done! I immediately received a confirmation email that I would be receiving a full refund and there was no cancellation fee.  I then went to the reservations.com website, could not find a way to cancel, so used their chat option. The chat person said they could not help, so I had to call the reservations.com. I called and the rep said their was a 1 night cancellation fee of $400 even though their cancellation policy on their site said there was a cancellation fee of 1 night if not cancelled by July 20th (it was mid June and a full 4+ weeks before this deadline). I went back and forth with her, then asked to drop the reservation down to just the 1 night and cancel the other days to avoid the cancellation fee. She said she could not  modify the reservation to less nights, and only cancel it and charge me the fee.  Ridiculous! I asked to speak to a supervisor. The queue for talking to a supervisor was so long she had to take my phone # and said they would call me within 24hrs.  It has been over over 36hrs. and still no call.  I even tried calling the resort to modify my reservation, but they said they could not do anything because I booked through reservations.com.  I hope this review helps others not lose $400 on a cancellation fee like I did for such shady practices, although I do plan to dispute the charge with my credit card company. USE BOOKINGS.COM INSTEAD!  I got better pricing from them and had a much easier cancellation experience with a full refund.

Be very careful they will make you think you are on the hotels website and booking directly with the hotel you think you are going to stay with. They are very fake and charge you 100s of dollars more than the hotels cost would be, then try to get them to help you Haaaa. Very scary that people can con you like this. And they got one star so I could post this warning to everyone!

This group should be avoided at all costs! They create websites that appear to be the hotels own site. Thereafter they charge reservation fees without notice. They fail to e-mail hotel invoices and cannot provide back-up for the fees. If you review them online, you will see this is common practice for this group. It appears many have reports this group to the attorney generals office.

Best at what they do. These guys provide the best service. Ive used them twice and had no hiccups. Highly recommended

Their ad came up first when searching for a specific hotel, so I mistakenly called them to book a room. Only while reviewing the confirmation email did I realize that a $14.99 service fee had been added and that the room is nonrefundable. I want everyone to know that this is a rip-off!

They dont answer questions honestly. They hide a nonrefundable $20 fee they dont tell you about and say they dont have a supervisor or mailing address. Never go through them. It is cheaper through the hotel or online

My Brother died of COVID 19. I call them to ask if I can change the dates on a reservation [not cancel]. I was told in the rudest possible terms that I booked a non refundable rate and could not change it.
