This is a great Bicycle Shop, they carry everything you could want, and at a fair price. Their repairs are excellent, and their staff is courteous and efficient, and their products are good quality. They also consistently show an above and beyond effort to help and satisfy, as Ive come in several times for emergency repairs during my Bicycle Trail Marathons, and theyve immediately helped me get right back on the road, both times were major (Rear Axle Broke / Crank Shaft Broke), each time Juan showed mercy and respect, and repaired them on the spot, even on a Sunday!

My father took a bicycle rim of mine into this bicycle shop to get it repaired/replaced as a birthday gift for me the bike rim in question is from a 29 mens Schwinn Copeland Hybrid Road-bike with completely all black rims spokes and all,So when my father dropped it off there to be fixed/replaced (used/new) my dad assumed that the mechanic there knew what he was doing And assumed when he was paying for and picking up the rim that it was exactly like the original one he brought in bed,Whoa and behold the only things that were black was the wheel hub the rest of the rim was Chrome that of which looked atrocious and didnt look right when I installed it back into the bike itself

I honestly loved it. ❤ We read the reviews before going and almost didnt go; honestly I am glad we did go. The gentleman that helped us get our sons first bike was great. 🚲 He helped and allowed our son to get on all the bikes he wanted. Love the fact that he was SO PATIENT OUR SON until he made his choice.

The 🚴 I bought was amazing. However, the customer service I received was terrible. Al, you need to learn how to greet customers. You also need to learn customer service skills. A customer walked in and asked if they could fix two bikes. Al said, “ it would take two weeks.” The customer was shocked and ended up leaving the store. The second the customer left, Al went to go fist bump another coworker. He said something about how sometimes he worries about them not giving in but thankfully they did. Honestly, I was shocked and confused by that ? Even a staff member told me ( Did not catch his name. Was beyond helpful) that they are not nice people to work with. Truly, y’all can do better- but don’t give customers attitudes for no reason.

Orange cycle serviced my Marin Rock2 bike 9mo since purchase. Its my mode of transport to work. It rides like NEW!!!! GREAT SERVICE 👍

The cost is pretty expensive for a basic tune up. Its cheaper to drive to another bike shop that is further away. The guy with the long hair wasnt very helpful. It seemed like he didnt want to be there either. The only positive I had was the lady who was super kind and helpful. I would go back only for her, but other than that its an okay place. Not great.

They made a mistake but went above and beyond to me make it right. Plus the main service guy used to work at specialized, talk about insider knowledge. This is the only place Ive found around here that works on higher end mtb stuff like tubeless wheels, and the prices are still really reasonable. Love em.

Joe was very helpful with my daughters purchase of a bike. Answered questions and provided great insight of the bike. My problem was a fella by the name of Al. Im not sure if he was just not tuned into customer service this morning, but we stood outdoors waiting for the store to open as he was putting up a tarp there outdoors near us. No greeting, no smile, no welcome...nothing. His demeanor turned me off, and as my 19 years old daughter was going to spend her own money, l told her she should not purchase at that store. Based on principle and the high cost of living in the economy we are experiencing right now, rudeness deserves not a penny spent.Then there was my imagination, or my nostrils fooled me, l sense l smelled a recently legalized substance in the air (my apologies to this store if l am wrong.)Just did not get a good customer service feeling on this store. I will never shop there again.

The SALES person that helped Me was RUDE, unskilled and lacking any knowledge. The man was lacking any Social skills as a Sales person. I asked for his name and he refused to give it, so I could be more specific on this employee. Recommended this person be Fired !!!

As above all I am a human being. Your workers does not need to shove the bike on my face. I cannot stand being snubbed, ignored. All I need an apology from the store. I would have being a loyal costumer. Never give a promise for repairs if you cannot deliver. Also, you need on friendly service that matches your price. After all I will shop elsewhere.

I gave them a 3 star because of an experience of building my wheel. Good Customer service, friendly service, safety pre-cautions to ensure minimal people inside great. Knowledge of product and bike good. Her is the issue, I took my bike to have a wheel rebuilt and they did it, price seemed ok got it back and it was out of tru. I took it for a ride and it was making a popping noise took it back they adjusted it. Few days later went out for a ride and the nipple backed out and I had to stop and get picked up. Took it back to the shop and they eventually fixed it but it took them a total of 12 days in the shop to get it right. I personally would not have them rebuild my wheel maybe you experience will be different. I will continue to buy parts from there. Had all this not happened they would be a 4.5 rating.

Went in to browse and ask about what I could do about my carbon fiber seat post slipping on my new bike....they told me about some paste that I could put on it and then gave me enough to apply without having to buy a whole tube...since they didnt have any in stock. No charge. Helpful, information with a smile. Thats when you know a shop isnt in it just for the money. I will be back!

We bought a bike from them. The avention Pace 500 Ebike. There was a problem with the charger a few weeks later. They didn’t know what wrong with it and the replaced it for free. They are very friendly and every time we have been there they have been just great.

Went there to look at bike racks. Friendly, helpful and they even threw in a couple of handle bar bike ringers when I asked to see them. Great selection 👌

Asked about tube replacement over the phone. Guy on the phone seemed to have a hard time confirming he had what I was looking for. When asked about the installation cost he said bring it in. When I got there they told me it would be $50 to replace the tube? All the other shops wanted $25 for labor. Got to say I wasnt impressed. I even told him in advance that it was a fat tire electric bike? Seems like a capable shop but they could use some help with communication and there service cost was over the top.

Ok costumer service but they tried to scam me into buying a new hanger I was upgrading to a 12 speed and they said I need to buy a new hanger and the 12 speed group set and was charging me 100 dollars to put it on when I went to a different shop all they said is that all I need is the 12 speed group set and they only charged me 20 dollars to put it one I’m never going back.

TLDR: I spent $340 for a worse version of my bike.As friendly as the staff, this bike shop charges way too much money for barely working bikes. The first trip I went in, I spent $200 on a minor tune-up which costed about $120. This tune-up involved the adjustments of the brakes and new tires, that is about it. The rest of the money went towards a repair of my derailleur. I bought the same model that broke, online for $30 and the installation was $20. The other $60 was spent on some extra parts and a rail guard that I never got.Two weeks, my derailleur breaks almost the exact same way it broke the first time. I am absolutely NOT blaming them for this. The piece can break from so many factors. So I went to get it fixed again. I decided it would be fine for them to choose a derailer to put on the bike. I also asked if I can get a new chain since it didnt come with the tune-up the last time I was there. This time, I decided if it it would be all right to not order the same derailleur my bike came with and let the bike shop order one for it. I dont know why they put the crappiest derailleur they could find on my bike, but I cant ride on the fifth or sixth gears without crunching and chugging constantly. They also gave me a spare derailleur hanger, which each charged me $20. The total cost came out to $140, so that means the derailleur, chain, and installation where $100 dollars.now I need to go back in to get a better derailleur and for them to fix the shifting problems.I have not been impressed.They dont even all wear masks or wipe counters in between customers as they advertise they do in Google Maps.

Ive been going to Orange Cycle since I was basically in diapers and gotten every bike Ive ever owned here. The employees treat me like family every time I walk through the door. There is no other shop ill ever even consider for any of my biking needs.

I’ve been cycling for the greater part of my 57 years. Many years racing road and MTB. It’s so nice to walk into a shop and feel comfortable with the shop staff. Orange Cycle has a family feel and everyone is well versed in all levels and ages of cycling. This shop sets the bar for someone looking for the face to face experience vs buying online. Highly encourage and visit. It wont take long to agree with my review.

Its great to have local expertise when you need it. I try to use the local folks when I can. They have a great bike selection and they are good on parts and tools.

The people there were very nice and helpful. I just wish they had more options. I was very happy with my purchase though. The options they had were higher end bikes, more then I wanted to spend.

Took my road bike here for a tune up. I made the mistake of not checking for proper operation on the spot. Chain rubbed on front derailleur on all but a couple of gears. On top of that, staff was rude.

When we ordered a package from a different store so we could pickup at this store, they were extremely ignorant. They are also very biased because when we bought a bike from there which was expensive, they gave us great and enthusiastic customer service, but when we ordered pickup, they were, again, extremely ignorant.

Honest, kind customer service and a larger staff at this bike shop despite the pandemic. I was hoping my derailleur could be adjusted in an hour or two and they said I’d have to leave my eBike here for a week plus. A tune-up would be 7-10+ days.At least they’re truthful with you that despite their larger staff they have lots & lots of other bikes to work on, many of which need major repairs that’ll take a quarter to a half day each. I saw plenty of a selection of whole bikes for sale here but not a lot of accessories. So I think it’d be better to come here when you want a whole new bike rather than repairs on a bike you bought elsewhere or accessories for any bike at all.Fortunately I own two bikes so I wouldn’t be without one while the other is in the shop. However I’d need an Uber to get here to pick up my eBike and Ubers are giving me the runaround right now. So I’d rather use the bike shop nearest my employer.

The store is amazing they have tons of parts and bikes but the costumer service is terrible you dont get a smile unless you get an expensive item or cycle. The guy who helped me talk and answer as if he was mad and wanted me out of the store as soon as possible.

These folks were kind enough to host the start/finish for the 2019 Tour dOrange bike ride by Kiwanis. Not only did they provide us water and air, but I picked up some nice gear from here. Love family-run bike shops.

I wouldnt take a specialized levo/kenevo anywhere else but this shop. I had motor issues on my Kenevo and they have parts and are willing to do repairs that other shops would not even try. The mechanic at this shop (Al) actually knows these bikes. He fixed my bike and saved me from what could have been a super costly repair. Very happy with the service!

These guys were great. Al and the crew are super helpful. If you need a new bike this is the place to go. The service department is just as helpful and very had very quick turnaround times for repairs. Thank again for my new Marin Rift Zone 2!

I just got a great bike (Specialized, Tarmac SL4) from this shop to upgrade my ride. Everyone in this store were great from the owner to the sale and mechanic. They provided me with great suggestions, options, and comparisons of each the bike to satisfy my desire. Most importantly, they helped me to identify a bike that was within my budget. I would say to say this is a family owned store that has a large corporate services. Great services.

Okay, where do I begin? I actually thought this place was really cool based on the reviews from Google but after coming here and purchasing my bike, I have to say that I was disappointed through the process of buying my bicycle. I came to Orange cycle to purchase a Elektra Townie bicycle based on what I saw on google reviews I was like let me see for myself how great this place is. The place is your typical bicycle shop with a great selection to choose from and a variety of other accessories to choose from as well. The only thing I was disappointed by was how horrible the service was after spending $600 plus on a bike and accessories. I mean the service was great all up until you pay for everything and then the service goes down hill after that. Really??? I assuming its commission based and the salesman ( Joe ) was all about the sale I guess.. I mean I spent some money on a bicycle and you would expect to be taken care of with information on the bike, tuning, etc. To make a long story short, if your looking to purchase a bike and think your going to get great service here, you better think twice about that! I would suggest looking elsewhere because this place definitely lacks salesmanship and customer service. For crying out loud I had to tip the guy some money that installed my accessories on my bicycle just to make sure he does it right without any attitude... it was that obvious.

I stopped by to check out a particular bike that I have been obsessed about over the years. I also wanted to inquire in regards to their layaway program.As I came in I was instantly welcomed by Joe and another young man who was in the counter. We kid around and slowly I addressed my obsession with the overlook image of the Dutch bikes. The bike was there but not the color I wanted. He then gave me a catalog I could go through and select the bike I want in which they can then order. As we talked I told Joe my main objectives and what I wanted right now for s bike. He recommended a dirt bike by Specialized. He was very patient and took me around the store to showed me the rest of the dirt bikes. Specialized was on sale, but I went for the next one up and ended up being an 8 speed pro line in black. He gave me a free lesson on how to read and go through the gears outside in the parking lot. It was a lot of fun and informative. I cant wait to go to the trails! I will definitely be purchasing my Dutch bike on the next bike purchase! Ask for Joe!

It impressed me that they had 4 or 5 mt.bike shoe choices in my size(14) AND my price limit.

Very unprofessional service. No one came to ask me if I needed help with anything. No sense of common courtesy. I went to go ask a worker and as soon as he looked at me he gave me a dirty look and talked to me like I didn’t know anything about bikes. I told that I had a couple questions for him and he was bothered that I even had any questions about bikes. when I asked him about a specific part he said he didn’t that he didn’t know that that’s not the name of the part. Then I asked if he had brake cables and brake handle he said he did and he went in the back to get them when he came back he threw it on the counter. I told him I only needed one of and started questioning me why I only needed one of them. When the time came to pay the price came out so much I asked him about it and told me was it came out be so much. The worker than handed me my change and I told him thank you and gave me a dirty look. I’m never good spending my money there ever again. The worker was an overweight long wavy haired middle aged guy worker at a hole in the wall bike shop.

Great Experience. Repairs were prompt and thorough. Yes I had to wait for my turn when others were being helped..Then i was treated as if I was the only person in the store. The techs are skilled and knowledgeable. I will continue to bring my future service and purchases through their doors.

We bought a package from the brand Specialized for pick up in this store and it arrived but when we came to pick it up, they said we had to write down our phone number, but there was a huge stack of many shipments which we were sure included ours. It has been about a week since the package arrived in the store.

Fabulous customer service! We brought in our friend who needed a flashing light for the back of her wheelchair. The gentleman opened several types of lights and put batteries in so she could test if she was able to turn them on and off. This problem had been worrying her and we really appreciate the care and concern Orange Cycle showed in solving it.

This shop is great. They have the best selection of bikes of any shop in North OC that Ive been to. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Joe brought the bike I was interested in outside and told me to go ride it around the block! I was completely amazed because more than one other shop Ive visited in the past only allowed me to ride around in their showroom, which is worthless, and then stared at me there whole time as if to say that the 12ft I just rode was more than enough. Lastly the bike I purchased today from Orange Cycle was a full $700 cheaper than anywhere else, online or brick and mortar. All that plus a free tune up in 60 days. Ill definitely be coming back here for my cycling needs.

This is where I bought my Momentum iride city cruising bike and they were there to answer all of my questions. Come to find out the bike itself has a ton of issues so they have been amazing at walking me through upgrade options, patient while I ask idiotic questions, and eager to help every step of the way. Most recently I had to return a knox lock security skewer and they had a more compact option. I felt bad for returning an open product but they refused to let me pay the difference. It doesnt get more family than this!

I was running late to the shop and got there at 7:09 pm. they had just closed their doors and I asked my Son to get off the car and knock to see if anybody would open the door. I really needed a new bike pump that I had been procrastinating to buy. Even though, they were already closed the Mom opened the door and answered every question I had in regards to bike pumps and she offered the best option. Not only was I a satisfied customer but they were very friendly and happy to help me out they even gave me a free water bottle! I sincerely love this place and its only been about a hand full of times that Ive been there and my kids saw first hand what a great business they are running!
