Right next to botanical garden, so location wise is good. Rooms are a little small but for the price it is justified. Hotel is maintained with neat and clean rooms. Parking is kind of a problem not enough space for car park so mostly will have to park on road side.

Nice place, its besides the botanical garden, budget rooms are small but are enough for a weekend visit to ooty. The market area is walkable which you can explore in the later evening once you return from you tourist points. The service provided is also good. Small parking area is also available. Dont expect much of the view from the rooms, if you take up higher range rooms they have balcony attached, but not all will give u a food view plus they are very low in height, so no privacy is what I felt looking at the rooms from outside. Basically budget friendly and location friendly rooms available.

We stayed in this hotel from 2 april 2021 to 4 april 2021. rooms are small no doubt but hotel is good in cleanliness and staff is very helpful.our 2 day stay was really good and pleasant.free complementary breakfast was also good. Menu was idli sambar, vermicelli, papaya, bread butter, bread jam, tea, coffee, poori sabzi.

Very pleasant stay, thanks a ton to Mr. Antony and Mr. Jaison who were very happy to host us. Early checkin was provided as rooms were available. And since room were booked they were not able to give late checkout, but asked us to stay on hotel premises until our check out time. Very very pleasant behaviour by hotel staffs as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. The hotel is very near to main junction, about 750m walking distance and nearer to Ooty botanical garden, about 200m.Only con I could point out is room size is on the smaller side, but rest everything is a pleasant 🤗

Hotel is a good budget stay. Decent Small rooms and located very close to the market and botanical garden. Staff is very prompt and polite. Food menu is limited but tasty. There are restaurant at walking distance around. Small open roof area where meals can be had. No Ac or fan - but given the climate it did not feel required. No pre-installed heater within the room. Hot water available but next person will have to wait for a re-fill. Overall experience was good from stay only requirement.

Excellent stay!! We had a 3 night stay. I stay there with my sister and it was really great experience. It is only 5 minute walk to the Botanical garden and Tibetan market.Breakfast was really so good. The staffs are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding places to visit in Ooty. The hotel is very clean throughout, and our room was spacious with everything that we needed. We would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.And my special thanks to Mr. Shantanu to make us feel like home. :)

Cozy little hotel stay. Its like a hidden gem. Staff are really nice and friendly. Room is small yet its serves the purpose. The geasers are arranged room specific. Have to turn on the switch and wait. There is a nice little garden on the top floor where they serve breakfast. The graden is well maintained. The breakast is of limited options. Bread, tomato bath, idly etc. Mostly South indian style breakfast. They must really concentrate on serving varieties. I will surely stay here when i go to ooty again

To his is a small hotel it has small rooms. Its located at two minutws walking distance from the Government Botanical Garden. Its within the Market place so the location is very nice and convinient. The food served in the hotel is very delicious and reasonably priced. The staff, especially the manager is very courteous and eager to help. Its worth visiting again.

We last month visted Ooty and stayed in Garden Manor hotel.. Best thing about hotel is.. It is in city centre, points, market area is on walkable distance, hotel food, breakfast, is very nice service boys and reception person is very kind and helpful, for couples.. Hotel is very good, rooms are cozy but one things is.. While checking our they did not provide us bill invoices..and while checking in bathroom doormat was not clean so after requesting they cleaned it... Overall our stay was very nice.

The wooden structures, the beautifully designed balcony fitted with lamps, the white colored hotel building looked lovely with the backdrop of the deep blue sky and shadesof greenery... It paints a picture out of a story book...The reception people were extremely well behaved and very helpful and hence you can expect a hassle free check in... Services were prompt...Now, the rooms are very well maintained, clean n hygenic... and furnitures were all wooden and has an antique look to it..The manager arranged for a cab for sight seeing for a very reasonable rate... I have booked Ooty package trip through through travelin and they have provided accomodation here. I thought rooms would have been bigger and more spacious, but it was not. Its more cramped in space and hardly have moving space within the room.Main advantage of this accomodation is, its right next to botanical garden, walkable distance from main area of the town for food or shopping.I thought both the travel company or the lodge provider could work on better pricing rather than charging high for this kind of budget roomThey have provided complimentary breakfast fast in the morning, but menu were the same.

Has decent stay arrangements for a 2 to 3 days travel plan, good balcony view and open air restaurant space. Food is very average and limited choices. Suggested to make food arrangements from outside, has a decent spread for breakfast which is complimentary. Though the hotel rooms are quite small and its a upscale place as compared to the price, but what will move you away from this hotel is the really awesome behavior of the hotel staff and the amazing inhouse prepared food by the hotel staff.Staffs were really courteous and wellcoming. Good not great....all you need to know. At a below 2K price, Garden Manor is a good deal here in Ooty, where hotels are not even at par with professional standards.Pros- Cozy ambience, Clean room-washroom, polite receptionist, hardworking staff at the restaurant and very tasty soups for the winter chill.Cons to definitely consider- The room size is genuinely very small, two people cannot walk around at the same time. Its worse if you are used to spaciousness. The walls are hollow so you can hear people speaking, cooking in the kitchen above and drilling in the neighborhood. Noisy enough in daytime.The warm water flow was sooooo slow. Hated taking a bath here. The hotel seems new and seems to be catching up with demands but they never even asked for customer feedback. I wish they consider these points to make it better.

Room was very very very very small and super conjusted. Food had just no taste. Hand shower of washroom was not working properly. Bed mattres was poor. The only good thing was pepl talked nicely. Dats it. So they are charging two-three times higher than what this hotel deserves. So basically we paid whole amount of money just for making a hotelier talk nicely!I love traveling...and i have traveled many places and have stayed at various types of hotels. This was the worst one.If they had charged 700-800 per night then this would have been justified.

We went to their property in Mavanalla, Masinagudi.Pros: A responsive attendant.The rooms were tidy.Spotted deers and wild rabbits just outside the window at around 3AM.Cons: The facilities were disappointing. Their page on Makemytrip lists TV and a functional kitchen. There was no TV and the kitchen had only a pipe. There was a fridge with leftover meat and other stuff. When asked, the owner excused himself saying these facilities were listed wrongly.But we still paid 5k per night.Misleading information online.Too many insects inside the villa.The towels they provided were torn.No complimentary breakfast. Food will be prepared only if requested. They served us coffee on request. It tasted so bad we decided not to try the food there.Toiletries were bought only after we requested.

Pros- hotel is true to its description on the booking app. We booked via Goibibo. Its a two star. Clean toilet. Proximity to Botanical Garden. Service boys are courteous and helpful. Guys at the reception were not of much help to us.Cons- We paid Rs 5300 for two days after offers on Goibibo. You would not believe, this hotel room is not worth more than Rs 1500 (thats maximum of what one should be paying, considering a peak season). We originally wanted to book Kluny Manor, a three-star hotel which is just a walking distance from Ooty bus stand). We were wooed by the positive reviews on Garden Manor and its proximity to Botanical Garden. However, we went to visit Kluny during our days in Ooty and we were shocked to realise how astonishing a hotel Kluny was! To our regret, we had in fact booked Cluny at Rs 5000 for same days, including breakfast. Our decision for Garden Manor was its proximity to Botanical Garden and perhaps the reviews. But as you may understand, Kluny Manor including, there are a handful of exotic three-star hotels that you can book on Goibibo at lesser amount than Garden Manor. Our visit was during Dudssera, yet there were three-star hotels offering stay and food worth every rupee you spend. We had booked Executive room. It was super small and congested. Only Delux rooms seem big. Rooms are anyways overpriced. Food is good with very limited dishes on menu. Terrace restaurant is good, not any appreciable view from there. Ambience is something that this hotel has absolutly nothing to offer you. Kluny Manor, among other affordable three-star hotels are situated atop eye-stealing hill tops - yet they are at a better accessible points to Ooty Lake and Rose Garden. If you see proximity to Botanical Garden as your reason for selecting this, youre simply missing out much more than what Ooty can offer you even at a cheaper price! There are true differences between a 3-star hotel and a 2-star hotel. But paying 3-star amount for a two star would not be a thing to do - we did that and regret.

I first discovered Garden Manor in 2015 & have since visited three separate years (15, 16 & 18). Its my go-to when in Ooty, a sentimental favorite.PROS• Really good location in Ooty. A stones throw away from the botanical garden, which also has a rickshaw stand. 5 mins walking away from the famous Modern Stores or Moddys. 10 mins walking distance away from the bus stop which will take you to Coonoor etc.• Warm & friendly staff who are willing to help with a smile on their face.• Clean rooms, well decorated, affordable in room dining.CONS• Rooms are tiny. Probably better to avoid the place if you have kids. The rooms in the back are very dark with a tiny window on top. Best to only book the front rooms which have a balcony attached.• Limited road parking. Didnt matter to us but be aware if you are planning to drive.• WiFi is one of the listed amenities (or was??) but it only works in the lobby.It has its quirks but its a charming place that I will probably return to, especially in off-season time when Ooty is quieter. Our first time, we booked through a hotel website. But next time onwards, we booked directly as they do offer better prices for longer stays.

It is a beautiful place to stay, very near to the famous botanical garden. The rooms are small cosy and beautiful and the roof top restaurant is the catch here. its worth spending some time in this place for roof top breakfast. The menu during our stay had cornflakes, idli sambar, bread butter jam, fruit juice, tea coffee, semiya upma. do try the bread omelette. Its delicious!

Hotel is okayish. it is costly for the services it provides. there is no ac, fan in the hotel as they told us. our room was standard (annex). there is very limited parking facility, they will hel you in parking in a nearby property, which is okay. rooms are very small. complementory water is provided in jugs. packed water bottle is chargeable. hotel staff is courteous. breakfast is okay. it is buffet. in all other hotel I have ever stayed and they provided breakfast, we were provided with at least one Jain dish on asking. they denied which was weird for us comprehend. stay here if you have no other option or if you dont have your vehicle, it is near to many view points of Ooty.

Very small rooms to stay. Good for those who are on tight budget. Front rooms have road view and balconies as well. Rear rooms dont even have a window, only a ventilator with exhaust fan, rooms look very cramped. Toilets are also too small. Please consider the categories of rooms before booking online. Not good for those who are claustrophobic. Staff members are very kind and friendly. They even have a terrace restaurant upstairs which has a mountain view. Breakfast buffet is also fine, they can also make omellette, french toast or dosa on the request.

Wouldve given 4 stars. But there are 2 things that I personally had a problem with.(My stay from 1st-3rd Nov 2018)1. I repeatedly asked during advance booking if there is secure parking available for bikes. The reply was yes and when I reached the property, its on a road side and had to park all our bikes on the road.2. The power failed a couple of times and they didnt turn the backup generator On until I called them after half an hour.Now the good things:1. Rooms and toilets were clean.2. Mattresses comforters and blankets were good quality ones.2. Food is served to the room if you want it down there. But its a little expensive.3. It is not too far from tourist places, and its very close to botanical garden.

Its just 2 minutes walk away from Botanical Garden. Room was well maintained. Staff planned our days for outing which is a great help. We had chosen shared vehicle which cost us 350 for 2 days to cover Ooty, Coonoor and Mudhumalai. Their restaurant has minimal option, I suggest try in other places as the hotel is very close to market and you have lot of options. Rooms are compact so dont expect lot of free space in the room. There is a cup board, dressing table, balcony, LCD tv, anytime water heater. Overall, its a great experience.

They have restaurant on the roof top which is also very nice , cozy and minimized rates. Also the breakfast buffet is very nice with nice taste and variety, only thing which was a problem was there wifi which did not work the first 2 days also on the last day it was working but very slow. It was because they had some problem with their wifi. So overall hotel location, services and food everything was good.

Rooms are very small

As everyone explained.. its very good and perfect. Staff is very polite and helpful.Food is very good compared to other restaurants, and value of your money.And the manager Santhanam is very polite and he will give good cost saving ideas for your travelling as I travel also perfect with less cost and driver are knowing Hindi and English.

This hotel is prime location for touristersThe famous botanical garden and tibetan market near the hotel and also another famous tourist places are around the hotel like rose garden and lakes. Good customer service .clean and neat room and bathroom. Tasty breakfast also

Easy Access to botanical garden

The hotel is located in prime location (very close to botanical garden). The hotel is having a good architecture, looks beautiful and elegant. Hotel is based on small room concept. If you dont understand this, you may not like this hotel. The people @ hotel were polite and well behaved.The rooms are cosy and clean. Standard rooms are bit tiny but clean and well maintained. Deluxe room is what we booked. Deluxe room has small balcony. Wash room was clean and well maintained. Hot water is available. Food can be ordered to the room.They have a small kitchen at the top which is used for catering food for guests of hotel. Both veg and non veg options are available. Rooftop dinning is available. The rooftop dinning has a good ambiance with small garden like area. Food is good and reasonably priced.Overall, had a good experience and is definitely value for money as per my personal experience.

Small hotel with small rooms and bathroom. But service is good. Staff is cooperative and helpful. Food is awesome. They provide free breakfast and dinner. In breakfast, there is bufay system and in dinner, you can order a food from their menu.

The stay was good. the location was great, the Botanical Garden was just walking distance. Rooms were quite compact, loved the terrace. Also the food was really good

We stayed here for 2 days and it was a very good stay with garden Manor,super clean cozy rooms, clean bathroom and nice breakfast, manager was Cooperative, and we where very happy with everything in the stay.We highly recommend this to others!
