Hotel is nice but bit costly. They dont have geyser in the washrooms and hot water is available from 6am to 9am. Main market is just 1.2 km from this hotel.

Good room worth for price, the negative side when I booked via Oyo, they said no breakfast while I paid for same. Oyo and hotel should work together to solve this. No proper refund option also.

If you want to spoil your trip, choose this hotel.Bed was too dirty and blanket was not cleaned properly.No hot water in the evening/night. Water Bucket in bathroom was broken and leaked.Overall it was not a good experience here.

Room wasn’t properly sanitised and cleaned😷 I found blood stains on the bed sheet and bed!!!!I regret visiting here!There were also few hair strands under the pillow and hair clips were on the dressing table for which I questioned the front desk but they said that it was properly cleaned! I couldn’t cancel the room since I already paid for it!It was a nightmare staying here!

Room rent for one day Rs.950 we booked in oyo which is very high for this hotel very small room. Dont order any food item or drinks. Very expensive coffee and milk for single milk and coffee they charged Rs.100. 24 hours hot water not available in night time we cant use toilet due to very cold water better go for good hotel

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious! Price was very reasonable. Loved the lemon/lime water and cookies that were sitting out. Customer Service in all areas was great! Ice cream parlor was a nice touch, it would have been nice if it was open at noon.

No heater, No TV, No WIFI, No Bath soap, No doormat for bathroom and door, boiled water served in plastic jar as drinking water, floor not clean, no chappal in bathroom

Celebrated our 41st Wedding Anniversary at this fabulous hotel. Located next to the hills, we found it convenient. The staff could not have been more helpful and treated us like family. Everything was outstanding and the service was second to none! You must visit this hotel if you want something truly special.

We loved our room at Hotel Rain Forest. It was spacious, very clean and every one was very helpful. We especially loved the breakfast buffet and couldnt believe the variety you offered. We also liked how close it was to town, the market and basically anything you wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous rooms and baths, spacious, over 500 sqft. The bath maybe the best in any hotel we have been too and we travel a lot! The area was always superb, after a windy day that was a real bonus for us. Sort of like having a great facility to ourselves! Right at the Ooty, this location is tough to beat! House of across the street and the Yolk a breakfast spot that cannot be beat!

My stay at the Hotel Rain Forest was excellent. All staff went out of their way to serve. I could never list all the names. The lobby staff, housekeeping, the restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is located in forest area. All the rooms awesome with great interior. I really enjoyed my stay!

There were twelve people in our group and everyone was very pleased with the hotel rooms and staff. The breakfast that was served each morning at the hotel and the dinner served at the Hotel Rain Forest was excellent. On Thursday evening we enjoyed our visit to the tourist places. Everyone had a wonderful and at some future date we plan to come back.

I loved my corner room on the 2nd floor. Day or night...never closed the drapes! Check-in was highly efficient in registering a large number of customers. I really appreciate the service. Room young man has welcomed with great warm smile.

My husband and I live in Ooty but spend one weekend each year at the Rain Forest for a little bit of a getaway. Every single experience we have had here has been perfection from start to finish. I know there are a lot of wonderful options in Ooty for a luxury getaway - but this is by far our favorite

Hotel is good with nice view and breakfast. Owner or manager is slightly grey, nice to you but try to rip you off by providing transport at higher cost and taking commission from transport agency in our case it was around 150%. Also tries to guide you toward car rental instead of bike rental by telling lies.Good for couples and families. Hot water is not available throughout the day.

Really enjoyed our visit to Ooty. It was our first. The Hotel Rain Forest exceeded our expectations. Very well laid out, clean, good service. All of the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were awesome.

Service was exceptional and the location was convenient – I got a feel of hill station with stay in this hotel. Great food and service. All the amenities are very good to stay. Thanks and I will come back again with my family.

Good clean rooms and service. #Drawbacks 1.Main problem of this hotel is below SUV cars cant reach the hill top easily.2.Hot water is only available between 7 to 9 am.3 only Tamil channels(some sports) are available4. They dont have restaurant but they will provide food on your order (they are buying food from other restaurants)

The hotel is modern and well-maintained. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was attentive and welcoming. The hotel’s food choices were limited, but there are good restaurants within easy walking distance. Room service was prompt and the delivered food was as requested.

Avoid this hotel if you want to enjoy ooty.... no hot water.... .hot water comes in morning from 6 AM to 7 AM so you cannot relax ... .. since temperature of ooty is 13 Degree Celcius .. water is ice cold...will feel unhygienic and unclean throughout the stay.... no towels given excuse:towels are at the drycleaners... breakfast for 6 booked through oyo..... 2 loafs of bread with 50 gm jam... no inhouse tea coffee facility asked for tea or coffee at 6 AM no tea was provided till 9 AM ... they have to wait till a small teashop across the road opens...... .if you want to mess up Ooty experience then only stay in this hotel... for the first time had a very bad experience with oyo hotel bookings... A sincere advice to any visitor to ooty.... main criteria while you book a hotel should be 24 hours warm water supply......

If you want to spend your vacation at a 3rd grade hotel with a manager who cannot treat his guests with respect, then this is the place for you. Staff is rude, manager is rude. No continuous hot water supply. No proper furniture or cutlery. Manager couldnt provide us with an extra glass and his reason was that all rooms were occupied. We wanted a early morning checkout and he said I cant wake up at 5AM, so I can turn on the water heater...so pls wait till 7AM. Overall, its more of a hostel than a hotel. If you already booked it, you can ask Oyo to shift you to another property in the area. Orchid Inn is right opposite and is a descent place to stay.

From the moment we entered the door to our departure, we had nothing but superb service. The hotel is stunning and the rooms (traveling with friends, we had a guest room and a one-bedroom) were beautiful, with every amenity you could want. But the service put The Rain Forest over the top. I left the privacy light on by mistake and they called and texted to inquire about our needs. I will surely return.

Location is good. View from rooms is amazing. But the road to reach the hotel is not constructed well, however the roads work is in progress. We said we want jain food for breakfast, they served for first two days but at last day they dint served jain food and gave many excuses. It was value for money.

A budget hotel in Ooty on the way to Coonor with excellent views from the front rooms.. No view from the back side rooms is a pleasent stay with all the basic amenities. All the staffs are very polite.. Its a OYO rooms one can book it from OYO site to have discounts..

I was in Ooty r a business conference. I was there on the weekend and thru part of the next week.The room was kept very clean and had a great view.Seeing that it was also a best spot to stay, the wind was very fast.There is no comments for the hotel.

Its easy to book the rooms here. Situated atop a small hill, the view of ooty city is pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are tidy albeit being less spacious. Room service is good and timely. Food is also good and tasty.

There is no other word to describe this than telling hopeless. Rude staff behaviour.. facilities were not working.. rude manager Mr. Praveen .. everything was hopelesssss cant express the grief of this place. Literally Harrazed... Any one wants more details let me know

The service was exceptional. Always referring to me by name and going out of their way to assist. The bellman got on the phone and talk to Hotel. The room was one of the most spacious rooms I have stayed in a big city.

3 Star for good and clean rooms. Manager and staffs were very cooperative. Very difficult to find the hotel. There is no paved road to there. Better to avoid ordering food in the hotel except for the complimentary breakfast. Dinner served was so pathetic. Seems to be a new hotel.

The hotel was very pretty and very clean. I loved the way the rooms were decorated. Also we could get ice cream and pizza right at the resort. Loved this place.

Please note that I had tough time with this property given that this was my first booking with OYO i have to admit that it was not even a OK experience.I learnt that one should not pick OYO for family booking and plesure trips rather should use it only for business trips for individual travel.I still dont know how Rain forest is rated 4 which misled me to go for it. Infact its note even good for rating 1.1. The property is on a cliff away from any basic amenity and after 7 its very risky to travel in those roads2. The rooms are very cramped and the bed is so small for a family3. Leaky water taps and toilets4. Pathetic un-hygiene breakfast served too late and at their own mercy5. No decent TV channels to enjoy evenings, no other entertainment options6. More importantly no HOT WATER facility and all the three days we were made to run around for hot water in that cool climate, when confronted we were abused with harsh words7. Property manager used to ring at 6AM in the morning asking us to have bath as water was hot then as if we get up late there will be no hot water, spoiling our trip meant mainly to relax but we came back stressedI sincerely request OYO to inspect properties properly and engage with them if not you will be kicking out of business for sure.End of the trip I felt i poured 18K into the drain as we did not enjoy a bit ther for three days. Thanks largely to OYO.

Booked this hotel through OYO but am very dissappointed with it for the price i had to pay... The approach road is not at all great and will damage your vehicle if youre not careful... There was no provision of 24 hrs hot water and we were told that hot water will only be available from 7.30am - 8.30am... We were also charged quite high for getting the food delivered in our rooms...Room and bathroom were decent... In my opinion the off season price for this property is justified but the peak season rates are too high...

We arrived from vizag and stayed 3 nights at the Rain Forest. The pick-up from the airport as well as reserving a restaurant for a special dinner.We had a club level room, very much recommendable.

The service is great, although they have fixed timings for food. The rooms have a clear view of the hillside, and its amazing to stand there early in the morning with a hot cup of tea or coffee.Overall, no complaints. Only fault is that the food is not available whenever you want it to be.

Nice hotel and a very good breakfast with excellent service but missing small things like a free newspaper which I always appreciate when staying at other hotels. The location was good and I would stay here on another trip if I make one.

Nice place to stay in ooty. Very supportive staff, nice clean rooms and If possible take balcony rooms which gives you the amazing view. In nutshell, I recommend to everyone this if you better place in less rate

We booked 3 rooms for us.however they provided hot water only in 1 room just for 15 minutes,that also after requesting so much.even when the Oyo app showed it will be available for three hours.Rooms are very dirty.even sheets were not at all clean.The foremost thing is the receptionist and the service guys are very rude and were not even listening to our concerns . We called Oyo but got a reply that their customer service will call back in 10 mins.They never did that.we didnt expect such a bad service from oyo .While we checked out,they asked for Oyo apps and gave review themselves .Although we should have asked them the reason,but needed to leave that hotel asap.So beware of the ratings in Oyo for this hotel

My husband and I were guests for three nights. The rooms are very spacious and super clean. Love the quilts on the bed. Breakfast is awesome. Great food and lots to choose from. Friendly staff. Had pizza and ice cream for a snack. Awesome place. Cant wait to come back.

Hotel is good for stay. The only thing is the hotel is located on a hilly area and the route to reach to hotel is very narrow and difficult as on 15/05/2018, and no proper parking place for cars.. Otherwise the hotel is good with all the facilities like food, water and comfortable bed and homely atmosphere.

Everything was good except few things like there was no in-house restaurant. No channels in TV. No lift. Road to hotel was very rough.

Budget hotel but the rooms are very congested. Not properly clean . Full of flies and insects .There is no good view from the hotel balcony of ground floor. They doesnt have their own restaurant. So food facility is zero. Only they can serve free breakfast which was served from a nearby restaurant. Me and my husband visited in the month of May. When ooty was full of tourists. And though we didnt get any other hotel so we had to choose it.
