One of the best resorts that I have been to recently. The complimentary breakfast had very limited options but yeah, It was enough and every dish was just awesome. The four star rating is because of the games they provide. They just give it for the sake of if, You literally can’t do anything on a open badminton, Basketball courts at Ooty climate. There’s an Xbox which will not work good 😄 And an not well maintained ATV Bike and indoor games.

One of those few properties in Ooty, closer to the main town, but still far away from the buzz. Sits along the Doddabetta mountains. Very friendly staffs, large play area (indoor & outdoor) for children, daily activities, camp fire, large rooms and a very well maintained property

Nestled away from Ooty town, Accord Highland is a quaint resort with spacious rooms and cottages. They offer good variety of amenities including outdoor and indoor play area which makes it even more attractive. Highlight of the resort being its close proximity to Doddabetta peak point, one can see the morning mist/ fog floating down the hill. Morning walk is a bliss here...

Accord is a terrific resort. Please visit. We were in one of the cottages. Fantastic location, great service by all. I especially remember their Event manager Mr Sivakumar and his trainee Vipin and one Mr Parthiban in restaurant. They have lots of games both indoor and outdoors and of course the weather is great.

Lovely place and very courteous staff. Good for family with children. There are lots of activities available for free like badminton xbox, cricket net etc. Dedicated play area for children too. Food was awesome. Bar and other services are closed due to pandemic. Room felt like it is getting bit old now but considering the location you will not regret your stay.

You can only enjoy food and nature but not the stay. Heater not provided in room even after a request. They have very few Cottages always occupies. Big families with kids need to find out from them with the occupancy available according to room.

Hotel management is so kind and 24x7 they are available for any needs. Both the complementary and paid food is tasty. Hotel is located nearby Doddabetta hills and has good hill view from hotel room. Property is maintained very clean and eye catching. I like to visit again.

Beautiful stay here , lovely place, helpful and devoted staff, wonderful chefs , inside the hotel campus there is a sari and other fabrics shop too, play area for children and adults too. Must stay here if travelling to Ooty . at night time this place looks more beautiful with light rains and the croaking of frogs ..

The hotel was a bit different apart from the other ones since it has a good accommodation and well experienced staffs... The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the games and the person( Mr. Shivakumar) handling the games and other things were incredible!!! To be honest we were staying in the hotel for all 4 days completely...

Its not about whats inside, for me. Its all about the outside area that had a badminton court, a cricket practice net, a volleyball court, and then a nice cozy room with all indoor games. This was the main attraction. I for one had a good time playing games long forgotten in the hustle bustle of life! Also, not to forget the tiny little hut that on the green hill, that serves hot tea/coffee, with cookies! The rooms too were beautiful. But like I said, the experience was all about what was available in the game zone, for me! ❤

We had a good time in the hotel. Delicious breakfast and staff were super friendly. The bonfire was hosted well by Shivakumar Ji.

Went and visited this property for an overnight stay. A few factors that contributed to my sad experience are as below:1) While the property has a scenic location, its an old property with a very average upkeep2) Room service was not great as things were missed out in orders often3) The largest factor that contributed to my experience especially outside the hotel was the way people treat you. I am a north indian and was driving a Telangana registration vehicle. Needless to say that the locals knew immediately that I was an outsider. From the Tamil Nadu stateborder at bandipur forest, to anywhere that I travel in the state, people are rude and unwelcoming of outsiders. So much so that on one of the forest checkpost the officer openly let go TN vehicles and said that only Locals are allowed in this area. On asking why, he said that outsiders do accidents. I called 100 and spoke to them but they also discussed something in local language and said the same thing, whatever happened to Freedom of Movement across the state as our right. From the other side, all state vehicles were coming through the same road as well. PS I am born and brought up in the Himalayan foothills and had much better driving skills on the hilly terrains than many over there.I am an avid traveller and just look for opportunities to pick my car and explore places. Been to dozens of places across the country but TN was the first place where I realized that yes, there is discrimination on grounds of race in our country.Id recommend to readers to try exploring places in Karnataka and maybe Kerala, and keep good amount of money for bribes and a day buffer for unforseen circumstances if you HAVE to visit Tamil Nadu as a state. Me and my wife have decided mutually that this was our last willing visit to this state.

Me and my wife stayed at the resort during second week of March 2021. It was a very pleasant stay. The staff is courteous, very co-operative, humble and prompt. The rooms are specious, clean and have all the basic amenities. Housekeeping was prompt. The weather was very cold during night, as this is situated at even higher altitude than Ooty. But it was pleasant during the day. The outdoor activities are fun, and the staff, especially Mr. Sivakumar, the event manager, is quite enthusiastic about it. The restaurant is very well maintained, and has variety of menu. Menu is not much extensive if one is vegetarian, but its still good for 2-3 days of stay. The view from the resort is very nice and soothing, I doubt any other place in Ooty has such a unique view. The area of the resort is impressively big. We really enjoyed our stay, and will surely recommend to anyone. It was worth the price we paid.

The hotel was really awesome. We stayed for only one night but wished we could have more days to stay.The hospitality was very good by all the members including restaurant staff. Rooms were clean and room service was on time.Breakfast was included with lot of varieties and they completely ensured that all the food items are served properly.Bonfire hosted by Mr shiva was included with lot of activities which we didnt expect would be fun but it turned out to be most special element engaging all the members.Overall I would rate 5 on 5

One of the best place to enjoy your holiday. It’s located near to the city and it’s very easy to commute to all tourist places nearby.We had a great time during our stay as they have many activities inside the hotel Guitar class, Karaoke, Bonfire and lots of indoor games. And we love their restaurant and the taste of food.If you are planing for a stay with elderly people, please put a special request for the rooms on ground floor as they don’t have any elevators.

I can assure you 100%, Accord Highland is such an amazing hub for both family members as well Crew. I personally advise the couples who is having babies they can be so comfortable their. Worst hotel in whole of Ooty especially the operation managers behavior towards the guest. Very poor wifi and very poor service. Too much expensive and most of the outdoor activities are chargeable.

The organising manager for activities Mr. Sivakumar made the stay extremely pleasant and exciting. Due to COVID, most of the tourist attractions and activities were restricted for the public. Although, everything that anyone ever needs for a memorable stay is provided in the hotel. Great service! Loved Mr. Sivakumar. Absolutely baffled by his energy and talent.

Very well maintained property. I found the staff to be very polite and helpful. Place is located at a high altitude and the views from the place are just amazing. The facilities are top notch. Enjoyed the food as well.

Got proper parkingRoom are spacious though bathroom little small.They have got huge area covered outside with multiple play option specially for kidsAs indoor games too from TT, chess to xbox.It keeps the kids occupied well. And the view is mesmerizing.Evening they have tea option outside then bonfire till nightCost is little higher side but worth the money for the location and hospitality.Would rate this as one of the topmost family resort in Ooty

The room was clean and well maintained. The Lawn and play area will keep you more relaxed. Breakfast was good. In room service was fast and good. Go for it.! Worth the money.!

Excellent staff, very friendly and they go out of their way to accomodate your requests so your stay is pleasant. Close to Doddabetta peak and 6-7 kms from other sights in Ooty such as botanical garden and the main lake. Breakfast Buffet was included in the package we opted for and it was a decent affair. The view from the rooms are great. There is no lift at the hotel which makes it a chore of climbing stairs for the elderly. Also, the food ordered during lunch and dinner could be improved.

WE STAYED THERE 2 DAYS WITH MY FAMILY,ROOMS WAS GOOD BUT THE SERVICE TO ROOMS WAS VERY POOR IF WE ASK STUFFS LIKE SOAPS OR SHAMPOO,THEY HESITATE TO GIVE THOSE PRODUCTS,FOOD WAS REALLY PATHETIC,WOULDNT RECOMMEND THE RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL, SERVICE WAS DRAGGING SLOW AND SLUGGISH,didnt taste good for the price we pay,we even complained to the front desk people,what we faced and they said they will rectify all those issues, Lets hope for the best,RESTAURANT IN THE HOTEL IS NOT RECOMMENDED....

Great property, great service, nice views and really good food. Their breakfast buffet menu is large and so many varieties. Try to get their deluxe suit or cottages for best mountain views.They have a tea stall which opens up in the evening where you can try different types of tea and its complimentary.

Hotel is built in a great place just below doddabetta. The rooms, staff, food and fun activities available at hotel are great. Especially the highland tea kadai. Best place to plan our weekends and holidays.

First of all, the location of the hotel.. Its is situated at dottabetta, and the view from this place is awesome and its with a huge space to spend value time with your family. My stay was for 3 days..Though we have spent the day time roaming around through places at ooty, the evening time was worth spending here.. The tea shop, the indoor and outdoor activity area,camp fire.. Everything was well organised and its value for money and will be best suited place to spend time with family especially with kids. Food was also good and all the staffs were easily approachable and polite.. The room ambience was good but a little more maintainance may make them feel great.. One more drawback is that they dont have lift facility that makes it a little difficult for old age people to climb stairs.. Rather than this every thing here is worth and we had a well spent time here.

Good place with great, scenic views. Well maintained property with clean rooms. Service minded and helpful staff. Were reducing four stars for a couple of unpleasant experiences during our stay of six nights at the hotel, about which the staff had lengthy conversations with us, requesting us to not mention them here, and have promised to address them for future guests.

Excellent location. Closest to Doddabetta peak. Away from hustle and busy streets of Ooty town. Great view of the valleys from the hotel lawns. Rooms are okay. Good king size beds available in the rooms. Breakfast spread was good. Restaurant staff were very courteous and attending to each guest very well. Mr. Narendrakumar was excellent in his service. Mr. Satishkumar and Mr.Sanjeev were helpful with front desk services. Entertainment room with indoor games and lawn with outdoor games like volleyball, basketball, cricket net practice were well maintained. High tea and snacks served complimentary in the lawns. One suggestion though - Rooms need to be upgraded since we are expecting Accord standards. Television and set top box need serious upgrade.

The hotel is Closest to Doddabetta peak. The customer service is really great.The room is really spacious and clean. They give basic amenities like tooth paste, soap, kettle, locker, etc. They also provide 24hrs hot water facility.The room service is excellent when we request room heater they provided it immediately. The breakfast buffet is super.A special mention to Mr.Parthiban he always attends the guests with a big smile. They also have indoor and outdoor activities for relaxation.The tea kadai concept is really  thoughtful.The view from the lawn area is so beautiful.The assistant manager Mr.Manikandan is really helpful and supportive. All the staffs are attending the guests with a smile and treating them with a very good way.The chef is very polite and calm he gladly accepts our request in food.They also give accommodation for the driver by giving the bunk bed and bed sheets. Overall its a perfect stay.The only thing which I feel is the restaurant menu has only limited options.

Location is perfect. Hotel has a good view and its close to dodabetta peak. Good amenities, a huge park (cricket, football, basketball, trampoline, volley ball, video games, indoor games etc) for kids and elders to play. They even have bonfire setup in the evening over the weekend. Complimentary welcome drink and then complimentary tea/coffee and snacks in the evening.Rooms were excellent, only problem we faced when we stayed there were related to the leakage in the ceiling of the bathroom and the bathroom room lock, but both of them were addressed in few hours after we raised to the management. Management staffs were courteous and the room service for food were also available. Limited food options for room service as well but cant complain given the quality of food.Breakfast buffet menu is kind of limited but tasted really good and the service was excellent.Hotel is on the way to Ooty from Mettupalayam via Kothagiri, not that far away from Ooty junction but better place to avoid the Ooty center.Must stay hotel given the location, view, amenities, hotel staffs, rooms and decent food.

This is the 2nd time we are staying here in Highland, we had Excellent experience. The staffs were very polite. This hotel has a variety of gaming activities like all indoor games, cricket, shuttle, basketball, karaoke singing and campfire which we found entertaining.

Good not great..... When it comes to value for money accord chennai, Puducherry is way ahead.....

Very good property, much away from the city noise and pollution will stand out as one of the most important factors to choose Accord highland.The team is cordial and helpful. The food options are good and the food is tasty as well.Has a nice lawn useful for many games and which is also used for serving Tea and coffee in the evenings in a scenic natural setting.The rooms are spacious anss comfortable.Downside ? Their internet connectivity is fluctuating and inconsistent and if you are in need of a stable internet connection wherever you go, you better make an arrangement for yourself.

Went there for our Anniversary .The resort is quiet big and numerous activities to indulge in .Its a heaven for kids as there a huge playarea both indoor and outdoor .They had bonfire activity every evening as well .They even made a lovely cake for our special day at the last minute which was heart touching .The staff is courteous and friendly .Overall a Good Experience .

The Rooms are very average.The bathroom is poorly finished.The bathroom fixtures are not fixed properly and tiles are in bad condition(pics attached).TV was not working continuously throughout my stay and have to call them to repair it each and every time while using it.No wooden flooring for the price.Overall a good hotel,but not worth the money(Over priced).

We really enjoyed our stay at Accord. The view from the hotel is amazing. The People over there treated us like their family members. Top-notch breakfast buffet with Quality taste. While leaving I honestly felt like missing something big. This hotel gave me a memory of my life. The people here are magical. Especially Mr.Manikandan, Mr.Parthiban, Mr.Raja, Mr.Arun and Mr.Sivakumar. loved the Guitar session and bon-fire session by Sivakumar. After hours of Google research we booked this hotel directly.We were a bit sceptical at first.When we arrived we were greeted by mystic mountains and Cold weather. Rooms where adequate & clean. In the morning we went for breakfast we where pleasantly surprised by the hospitality and the taste of the food.specially idlies a must try. Hotel staff treated us like a family. They kept feeding us with delicious food. This hotel is situated in such a place that the temperature is more cooler then Ooty city and it’s peaceful and isolated from the chaos. We extended the stay since we where in love with the climate & their hospitality. We enjoyed the indoor games and bonfire activity at the night. I must tell you there are many hotels with more amenities and facilities but this place has a soul. people working there makes it happen. The hotel is progressing and constructing new cottages and upgrading their existing rooms.Tea kadai at the lawn area Serves the best tea with biscuits and snacks will become a favourite spot to sit back relax and enjoy the view. There is a happy cat in the compound it’s as friendly as the staff there. Our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who’s working there.We told them will come back again soon.Online prices are cheaper than direct booking.Property and infrastructure bit old school.Frequent power cut.In-house entertainment can be a upgraded.Entertainment activity needs more fresh approach.Thanks for taking time to read this.Read less

Good hotel and a nice place to stay out of city. Nice and friendly staffs especially Mr.Parthiban. they have good set of indoor and outdoor games. TKadai was a highlight.

Excellent hospitality.. very nice location.. my kid enjoyed all the available activities.. food was good and reasonably priced.

Cost wise it is expensive.. But service and food wise it is good.. I stayed for 3 days.. Per day room cost was 7k.
