Horrible experience I had with madras rasoi. They dont know how to treat a customer. One lady spoke harshly. They even dont know about time management. We ordered food items but it has been served lately. Foods also not up to the level we expected. Totally not worth for our money

I peeped in by its showcase on Shawarma. Not in a busy time around 8.00 pm almost everything over. We were the last shawarma customers.Would have been even better if the customer care had been perfect.Real problem here is parking a vehicle and taking it away.I asked for classic shawarma with extra mayonnaise. I dont know which made me sick for two days shawarma ? Mayonnaise ? Or my Appetite?

This place has very good ambiance plus hygiene nd they seem super kind people . The food was amazing.. and I would love to be here again.. they didnt mind me enjoying my time there for almost hours... Please do check this cool place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Forget about the food, food was 3/5.But read below!The staff - it was like every spoon I bend down to eat, there was an underarm!Basic etiquettes has to be taught to the new staff. The old staff was considerate. Please do your recruitment process properly!Very bad customer service!

The place looks good from outside and the ambience also looks good. But I guess the management has to be more people friendly and you guys surely need to improve the quality of your food.Chicke 65 - was good but a little over fried.Garlic Chicken & Lemon Chicken - Literally couldnt find the taste difference between the garlic chicken and the lemon chicken. Both had the same mixture and tasted same. The differentiating factor was the lemon rings in lemon chicken. Thank to that.Biriyani - The chicken biriyani had good colour but lacked all flavours. The masala on the chicken in biriyani tasted like raw chilly powder masala.Porotta and Rumali Rotti - AverageAnd one more suggestion - I do understand that Ooty is a plastic free zone but please do make cloth bags available at a cost so that the people who want to opt take away can be at the ease of carrying their parcels.I literally couldnt carry 4 bundled paper pouches, Finally had to leave the parcels at the counter to find a bag.

Concentrate only on online orders. Less attension to customers who are dinning.

Last night we ordered food from here,it was good thats why we went to hotel for dine in today, quit nice place but they have worst service, we ordered some food but in that they didnt served Daal Till we finished other food, they should improve their service.Overall food was good,authentic ooty spicey food.

I rated 1 star because I couldnt rate lesser than this. The reason is behaviour of the receptionist. Her behaviour was so arrogant. I didnt expect this from such a reputed hotel. Im so disappointed. She behaves as if we are all slaves. Please look into it and never lower the respect of your branch because of such worst reasons. Thank you

Pathetic service, served raw tandoori rotis and no one bothered to check when complained. Did not have any condiments on requesting for the same a weird explanation saying we serve combination of south and north indian food was given!

It was ok ok type but if you are a North Indian and want to eat tava roti and Delhi style food, you will get that up to some extent

Why did I visit this place? Well, on the way this was something we found , we stepped in, realised how bad the place was. We were the only customers there. There was no cleanliness we felt. There was only one guy who was there to attend us. We stepped out. Guess you can skip this place.

Top marks for food. We had naan, gobi Manchurian, rotis, egg masala, omlet and chicken Biryani. My friends said that biryani was perfect, possibly the best biryani in all of Ooty. Very filling dishes, clean ambience and in the end it wasnt a pinch in our pockets. The service however could have been better, maybe they should hire more employees. All that aside, it was a very pleasant experience.

It was on the way to our resort but looking at the reviews we were not keen on going but decided anyway and turned out that it was very good decision the food was pleasant but not the best the seating arrangements was really good and the service was excellent and reception was very welcoming. We ordered few things every thing tasted good except that it was spicy which works well with others but we dont like spicy. So overall it was 4 star but gave 5 because the ratings in Google are less and it doesnt do any justice to the restaurantNext day Review: I did get stomach upset, had vomitting and diarrhea. But cannot be sure its because of this food. As we also had lot of things from doddabetta peak road side eataries.

The food was fine. Parking facility available. Though Madras in name, the chicken biryani was Hyderabadi in cuisine. Service and seating facility (approx 40 seats) was fine. Rs. 1000-1200 for 5 pacs. Grilled chicken available.

Ordered fish banjaran,mushroom 65,prawn masala,garlic nan,rice,dal fry.Dal dry was awesome so as rice😜.Prawn masala, Garlic nan were also upto the mark.Fish banjaran is tasty but the fish filet is very thin n fish was dry.But wait...the twist is here....mushroom 65 is a disaster...Will suggest not to order any 65 here...it’s like normal pakoda with some fried curry leave n chilly on top of it...no masala or sauce...But the price of all items are less..so you can try it...bt not any 65

Worst place for food I have ever seen. Ill recommend everyone to fast instead of eating here. Total faltu food as well as owner... Veg soup had chicken stock.. not a place for pure vegetarian....

Worst customer experience, the attitude of the lady manager is very Bad. We waited for almost 1 hour to have Briyani, but after one hour of order taking, the staff came and asked for placing alternative order. Very poor order management. Like us many faced the same issue with them.

Serves tasty food, however noticed a slight taste of low quality oil in their fried food(chicken 65). We also had chicken shawarma which was really good in taste, disappointed in the quantity though.Place is usually crowded during meal timings and hence do expect a wait time to get served.

Gud place to have some.nice quality dinner..Tandoori was off the hook. Service, its gud but here it tends to be crowded at times. Especially during holidays..They have sufficient parking also.

Very slow service for the number of items we ordered. Taste was fair and baby corn golden fry was a great disappointment. It smelled and tasted foul but the hotel didnt agree to the same.

Ambience is at minimum, music was nice they were playing good songs. We had placed order for Tomato Soup, Dragon chicken, one paneer starter, Rumali roti, Aloo gobi masala, classic shawarma and Chicken Tikka biryani. Food was average. Service slow I only saw one steward. Cutlery, water had to be asked to multiple times. So overall not a place for second visit. Moreover there wasnt any soft drinks or for the matter any for order.

Food was tasty, they should see the packing properly for the parcels , all curries were not packed properly.

Staying at Ooty dint expect such nice north indian food which was available here...reached at an odd time for lunch, around 4 pm hence could not enjoy kebabs, however butter chicken and nan were fulfilling...when at Ooty and have craving for north indian/non veg food do visit Madras rasoi surely!!!

Very poor quality food. Only tea is available as hot drink. No option for coffee or milk for children. Tea itself is not hot. The crockery also doesnt appear clean. Service was also sub-par. Hardly anyone in the restaurant, but had to wait 10 min for someone to even attend to us. Only pros are location is good, parking is available for cars.
