One of the good railway stations which comes under South Central( coastal) Railways. It seems that it falls under the administration jurisdiction of Vijayawada.It has 3 platforms n 5 truck routes. One goods train is positioned in one of the truck routes most of the time. It has lot of passenger amenities like rest rooms, Veg Light Refreshment Stalls ( sells idli, vada, dosa, curd rice, veg biriyani etc etc) very cheap, water - both chill n ordinary, elevator, lift, tea coffee stalls, over bridge, sufficient seats for passengers, ramp, display boards showing arrival n departure of trains, individual coach display system, dustbins, wifi facility etc etc. Regular RPF security personnel posted for the platforms to monitor n to help passengers. Lighting is also good.It connects Howrah, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Tirupathi, Kakinada, Kanyakumari, Bangalore etc etc n lot of important stations. The trains like Circar, Navajeevan exp, Charminar exp, Grand Trunk exp are all passing thro this station. It has one enquiry counter also. Also displays in the entrance arrival and departure train notificaton display system.It seems that Covid 19 vaccination is being done from 8 AM to 1600 hrs.Negative points:1. Lot of mosquitoes2. Covered passengers waiting rooms3. Display of single board showing the coach position of the train ( individual display of coach position is available but consolidated coach position display us not available). It is available in many South Indian stations.

Really a good railway station with hygeine and sanitation work and the woes of police guards are really appreciable. Also things changed alot since last three years and burgeon can be seen with escalator,lift and others like social distancing which is crucial for citizens in this pandemic situation

If central government give preference to make slopes on the way of staircase, then everyone feel free and easy to carry the heavy luggages. Actually it was needed in every station .so that communication should easy and riskfree also. Thank you

Very very neat. Always kept clean. Police personnel are at ou help always.

The best part is it does have nicely functioning lifts in all the four platforms. So luggage carrying is not an issue. However you wont find coolies that easily...! Every platform has food stall that has more than just dry snacks and coldrinks...!

Now infrastructure improving little bit. Some times lift not working. Senior citizens are facing problems for changing the flat forms

Ongole railway stn is a small and well maintained rly stn located in Andhra Pradesh with totally 3 platforms. Almost all the North, East and North-East bound trains stop here on the 1st platform and all the South bound trains stops on 3rd platform. It has an escalator and lift facilities inside the stn itself, to switch platforms. Good Canteen and Shops are also available inside the stn. Ongole stn is located at just 4.30 hrs journey away from the Chennai Central Stn. You can alight here, to visit Chimakurthy Granite Mines, which are only 35 kms away from the Ongole City. Nearest airport to Ongole, is located in Vijayawada.

One of the busiest and well maintained railway stations in Andhra Pradesh. It is neatly painted on the outside giving it a beautiful look. It has 3 platforms. Train coach display indicators are available. There is an escalator on the first platform and lift on the second and third platforms. All express trains halt here for two minutes. Long distance Super fast trains halt for one minute. Autos are available outside the station to go inside the city round the clock. Ola and uber are not available at the time of writing this review.

Though its a small railway station with totally three platforms in it, its neat and hygienic... Coach numbers are clearly mentioned even before the arrival, escalators and lifts are in proper condition, toilets are available so over-all it is a decent railway station which people can prefer for travelling

Ongole Station is the main line between vijayawda Madras. It is the district headquarters. Many of the trains is having stoppages. Platform 1 is towards the town side. Retiring rooms are available. Separate waiting halls for male and females are available. Sharing autos are famous here, need not engage individual autos. This town famous for Ongole breed oxen. Dry crops coirriandrum and Tobaco are famous crops

We gets the train to Chennai, Tirupati, naidupeta, cheerala, Bapatla, and vijayawada. Previous it was crowded. Now not that much

Railway station is good and area is well maintaining but only toilet areas are not maintaining well(bad smell is coming while walking all over the station).if toilets are maintaining well then the station will good to go.

Cleanliness is good, but the fans or waiting halls maintainence is worst by the staff .... they dont switch on the fans till we complain on 139, station master nerver respond and reply in an arrogant manner

The passenger traffic has grown many times over the last 2 decades but not so much of increases in passenher amenities at the same rate of growth. Hiwever the maintainande of the station is really good over the last few years. Overall there is great potential for this station to exponential ruse in passenger movement coming years. Better the authorities keep pace with tuis growth very much atvthe same rate.
