Be aware i bought 50 Cigars after going home to put in Humidor found them 45 cashier also over charged my card when 8 looked at the receipt, i honestly thought they were good people so i called and explained the missing cigars and overcharge the guy just hung up and stopped answering. Stay away. Stay away....

First time seeing the place. I have to admit it was pretty awesome inside. Stopped in to talk to one of the employees in regards to smoking cigars, (Im very new to this), the most popular ones, how some of them taste, the different types of accessories, and how I can learn more about cigar smoking in general. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and such a pleasant guy. Took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing me off. (Unfortunately I forgot to ask his name.) Anyone looking to purchase cigars should definitely stop here. I was very pleased with this visit.

Be aware,, crooks, thiefs, cons, working there, we bought 600 dollars worth of cigars they where in original boxes buy cashier said he needs to take cigars out of a box to keep box on display and will give us a different kind of box, turns out he stole 8 Cigars from the AF work of art and 7 from the AF best seller cigars, crooks.

Couldnt ask for more in a smoke shop. Prices are great selection is great and everyone that I have encountered working there has been friendly.

After being publicly called out by many locals over an extremely offensive sign posted at this establishment, the company’s response was proven with ample documentation to consist of lies in an effort to save face. Upon further scrutiny and questioning the owners/management failed to respond anymore at all, let alone in any way that made up for their mistakes. If handled with real accountability the initial offense would have most likely been forgiven by many, but the lying was the nail in the coffin for me.

Fantastic place, great atmosphere better people

This is the only TAA tobacconist in the state. The decor is relaxed and comfortable and a lounge for members or $20 per day for non-member. The staff are experts and can help you find a cigar perfect for you.

A real tobacconist! Cigars from around the world from a couple of dollars to a few dollars more. Step inside and smell the sweet aroma of pipe tobacco in the air. Walk into the humidor and the smell of cigars is delightful. A fun spot to visit just for the aroma whether you indulge or not. Me? I quit tobacco years ago, but a single cigar a year that I dont inhale...this is the place to break the rules.

So glad I stopped in here on a whim during my Christmas shopping. I don’t know anything about cigars but didn’t feel awkward or out of place. Got my boyfriend and his dad a few cigars (they loved them). Really cool atmosphere and nice organized displays. The worker (cool mustache) was so fun and helpful! Definitely worth checking out. Reasonable prices and overall, a great experience.

Excellent shop! I could not have had a better experience. The guy working (failed to get his name) was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. As a newer pipe smoker. looking to expand and move away from sweeter flavored tobaccos. Ive been to most of the other shops in town. Ive found that in a lot of times the guys working in the shops come across as elitists that dont have time to answer questions. This was not the case here. All my questions regarding types of tobacco, different blends, and brands were answered clearly and professionally. Based on his recommendations I left with a handful of new blends that I am excited to smoke. I will definitely be back! Customer for life!

Ive been visiting S. G. Roi tobacconist for years, if theres a cigar that America can sell, its a good chance they have it. The awesome walk in humidor its always an olfactory walk through Bliss. A cutter and torch at the register, then relax and smoke inside in one of their two barber chairs. Can soda and cigarettes as well.

Good place for cigars, has a classic smoke-shop vibe with a large walk-in humidor. Best in class imported cigars, but there is definitely a premium price compared to, say, Omaha Cigar Company. All in all, great place to go if you want a few fancy cigars with the boys, but probably not a place to buy cigars in bulk.Pros: classic feel, knowledgeable staff, wonderful cigarsCons: premium price, parking sucks on the weekends (they cant change that, though)

Just had the worst experience I have ever had at this place of business. Went in with the intent of purchasing pipe tobacco and cigars but there was no one at the counter. My wife and I went to go into the humidor and a gentleman with nasty slicked back hair in the humidor very rudely told my wife her purse was not allowed. Which has never been a posted rule or a demand made any other time we have been there. We will not be going back.

This is a good place to buy some top shelf cigars. I saw that someone complained about service but my philosophy is if there’s two customers and one employee you might have to wait a minute or two. We’re in a cigar store... Either chill out or go back to vaping. It’s called common courtesy.

While the communication may have been lacking in that situation, whenever i ask to be notified about cigars coming in, theyve never disappointed.

The man inside was very rude to me and my family without reason. Ive been to many cigar bars and am friends with owners of several companies and have never been treated as such. It made me feel like as a customer I didnt matter and I would not go back there for any purchases any time soon.

Extremely unprofessional and difficult to work with.I reached out to the owner of S G Roi in June to try and arrange to have someone on site to roll cigars at my wedding. It took two weeks to get a call back, and after that I would go weeks without contact from the shop, despite many attempts on my part to ask questions and put our agreement in writing. I spent over a month asking for an invoice to be drawn up to based on the quote I was given over the phone. Finally, today (a month before the event and nearly two months after I first contacted them) I told the clerk on duty that I needed an invoice signed before the end of the day or I would have to cancel. Instead of the call back that I was promised numerous times I got a short email from the owner stating that the individual he guaranteed me would be available for my event wouldnt come unless he was guaranteed to sell at least 100 cigars, and that I would have to pay for any difference if that many werent rolled. This would cost me more than five times the (multiple hundreds of dollars) quote that I was first given for an appearance. There was absolutely no mention of a minimum order at any point during our communication prior to this.I am extremely disappointed in the service I received. I have spent hours trying to arrange this special gift to my groom to be, which I never would have entertained if I had been aware of these requirements. Whats worse, the owner sent this information in email form, which disallowed me from asking questions around the mistake he made in failing to inform me of crucial details regarding the agreement. I would strongly urge anyone planning an event to steer clear of S G Roi.

S.G. Roi is the best tobacco shop in Omaha. They have an excellent selection of pipe tobaccos, cigars, premium cigarettes, tobacco pipes, and accessories. Their prices cannot be beat. The staff are very friendly and well-educated on the products they carry. I live in Bennington and I refuse to go someplace closer for every reason I stated above. They are that good, people. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else, and you wont either after your first visit. Thank you S.G. Roi!

Im relatively a newby to the world of cigar smoking pleasures so it has been a little tricky as to pinpointing just where my palate is located. This past weekend I explained my situation to Nick at S.G. This place is a true gem. Stumbled upon it, and was very pleasantly surprised- no place quite like it in Des Moines. Great selection of loose pipe tobacco, Fine cigars and what appeared to be mid to top end wooden pipes. There is a members club smoking lounge upstairs (membership is: $150/year = lounge access and %10 off everything, at all times)Cigar selection is VERY reasonably priced. The store is decorated with a slew of old and antique cigar and pipe tobacco related memorabilia- including a 4ft tall Mr. Punch man, and one of the increasingly rare, authentic life-sized wooden Indian of the female variety.The gentlemen working was helpul and seemed genuinely passionate as well as knowledgeable about the cigar and pipe tobacco world. If youre in the area, pop in at the Havana Garage- S.G. Roi is their supplier.
