It was a wonderful experience and a great movie night The seats are comfortable and food was yummy. Picture and sounds effect are just right. The theatre has a very strict check-in procedure to ensure your safety. Also you will find sanitizer handy and nearby. Service at the restaurant and before movie were friendly and efficient. I will recommend.

Updating with a second visit. I requested a refund for a ticket I bought for someone who did not make it, and the refund process could not be easier. Even when I was dumb and used the wrong card to receive the refund the manager helped me overcome my error with swift professionalism. Great service is how specific locations of a chain stand out.Nice to see there is a VIP theater in this location now, great for a night without the kids. So happy to be back.

Ive been going here for years and its always been pretty good. Very good location with lots of restaurants and addition entertainment.Did the VIP movie and it has all been updated. It was pretty clean before but everything seemed a little cleaner. And they have heated motorized recliners...very nice!Volume seemed unnecessarily loud, found myself wanting to reach for a remote to make the volume less painful.Other than that, great 👍

Overall great experience. The tickets prices are reasonable and the food was tasty (The food is also brought to you). This particular location has a clean and modern lounge, with a bar, seats and even a pool table. The actual theater is relatively new meaning the seats all work perfectly (The seats have buttons that can heat or recline) I heard some people complaining about the VIP in other locations because the seats were not working properly so keep that in mind. All in all I recommend this location its definetly a great time.

Its open, the menu is good variety and quality, the price is bit higher but I dont go to movies every day.

Very happy with our first cinema experience back since they reopened. Theres really nowhere like a cinema for watching good movies. Staff are courteous. A little more cleaning is needed though.

Rude manager and the worst thing is the crew is not at all polite to guests, i was talking to a manager the crew named CRAIG was just interrupting and not behaving good plus arguing in between while me and manager were talking.I would like to suggest cineplex in Oakville to teach some sense and manners how to talk and greet guests.

**VIP Theatre Pro Tip: While the lights are still on before the movie, figure out the buttons for your seat. Theres a switch for the back rest, one for the foot rest, and one for HEAT! I did not realise this my first time, fumbled around without looking, and halfway through the movie my butt was suddenly on fire! Still a great time, 10/10, will go again.**Ive been coming to this theatre my entire life. Through the years I have watched it grow and change with the times, while keeping its original charm.Whether Im here with the crowds for a new movie premier, or alone in the middle of a weekday, Im always treated very well by staff, and the place is always pretty clean. Only critique I could make is that the arcade machines are old, but hey, we all play games on our phones now anyway so I dont blame them for not upgrading.The new (to me) VIP area is fantastic! Servers go above and beyond to accomodate anything you want or need, and the seating (which is leather couch there!) is super freaking comfy!Besides having like 2 decades of memories here, its also just an overall fun place to go. I will continue coming to this theatre as often as I can; I know its a chain, but its honestly great, and a community landmark, and I will always show support.

My seat was dirty, the staff let people sit in non socially distant seats, and nachos were not on the menu. We paid for VIP where you dont have to get up for food. When we asked to order nachos they said they were out yet they had it on the other side of the theater. No one came to take our order we had to ask two times. Absolutely not worth it.

I watched a movie here, you feel relaxed, even out of everyday life. Movies to suit all age groups. I highly recommend.

Theater wasnt crowded during the afternoon. Everything looked well kept and clean. Can reserve seats online with lots of distancing put in place between seats. Staff are wearing masks.

The DBOX AVX is an interesting experience, but not for me.. the vibrations and the chair shaking takes the focus away from the movie.. also the chair is not as comfortable and doesnt recline at all.. not going for it again.

Vip is nothing what it seems.I was never informed how service is ran. Tipping shouldnt even be an option, my server took my whole order and never seen her again. ALL my food was served at once.. which it was all disgusting. The cauliflower bites were freezer burnt like BAD.. We left the whole tray there. Never got take out containers (Even tho i woulda never ate the food anyways) Nothing. Horrible experience and horrible food.One good thing is the seat warmers.

Great theatre and kept in clean shape… however cashier service 👎👎, last time I went to this theatre and purchases snacks, I was given option of using scene points, like all other Cineplexes, but here I guess the rules are different… here service is lazy

Terrible experience, unfortunately. After spending more than 1 year closed, Cineplex should be much better than before, with improvements due to COVID-19 and with more precautionary measures. My wife and I went to watch Shang-Chi in the UltraAVX room at 9:40 PM on September 6th and the experience was worse than before the pandemic, from when we arrived until it was time to leave. At the entrance to the Oakville-Winston Churchill complex there was only 1 person scanning the tickets, a long line with no social distance. In the popcorn area, lines were also forming without distancing. The drink machines were all dirty, no one was sanitizing the touch screens. Upon entering the room, we came across a dirty floor, littered with cups and packages of popcorn, a sticky floor and dirty seats. The impression I got was that the room was not cleaned all day (or weekend). Zero cleaning, zero hygiene. They removed the alternating rows for social distancing and now there are people sitting nearby, all the time without a mask, just jumping 2 seats to the sides. On the way out, another problem, there was no one to organize, everyone crowding in on the way out, once again without distancing. I used the mens washroom after the movie and again it looked like it hadnt been cleaned all day, the floor was dirty and it stinks. There were no distancing measures in there either. What do you expect from a company that resumes activities like this? Wasnt it supposed to get better? Wasnt it supposed to take precautionary measures to avoid a new lockdown? Ridiculous.

Facility was very clean. Staff was friendly. I enjoyed my first movie since covid.

Enjoyed the movies here. Especially during stage 3 where you get to reserve your seats. And not packed inside.

A few serious complaints about this locations current management .....Based on our experience on Sunday, Aug 1st at approx 3-30 to 6:30 PM.1) a popular new release with 8.0 reviews ( Stillwater ) is being shown in a small screening room and selling out 2 time slots ahead. By contrast, F9 has been showing for 3 weeks and is still in one of the largest rooms with approx 500 seats and only about 30 people attended !Obviously an opportunity to switch and sell more tickets for the new and popular release..2) Mens washroom near lobby was FILTHY with urine all over floor and toilet seat broken at hinges3) Only one ticket agent and a long line of people needing assistance, Not everyone can or wants to purchase on line.The ticket terminals only had one of several available due to distancing. Surely more terminals could be available or units repositioned4) We purchased 2 seniors tickets and gave them our 2 Scene cards but were told they could only accept one for points. She later moved to another terminal and registered the 2 purchases on 1 card versus 1 on each card. Seems ridiculous that this was so complicated however Kudos to the young lady who did assist us by using another terminal while 15 + people waited in line.5) Benches in hallways near screening rooms have been removed due to Covid... Ridiculous as people need a place to sit prior to movie time and would obviously not sit with strangers .6) Lines for concessions were long and absolutely not properly distanced between customers.Location needs better management as we try to manage through Covid. Cineplex has been very vocal in the media about government closures yet havent ensured good location control !

First time in a movie theatre , after 5 yrs being in Canada. Saw Captain Marvel in IMAX experience . It was amazing.Free refills for soft drinks , lot of options for snacks ,The staff were very friendly and co operative .The whole location was spacious,Plenty of walking and sitting space.Good parking spots available,Nearby landmarks, Dave and busters , Hilton suites , sub way restaurant,

Good place for movies. Located in an open convenient location. Child friendly, big parking space, good food and drinks. 3D and IMAX screens present.

Best VIP theatre I’ve ever been too. Had the back row of theatre #4, right in the middle. The tickets are about $5 more per person than other vip theatres but worth it. The recliners are incredible!!! Also has heated seats! Vip section is larger than other theatres we’ve been to, yet due to the recliners the capacity in the theatre is smaller (which I prefer). This is my new go to for movies!

We checked out the new VIP lounge the first week and it looks great! We were there one of the first days it was open, so you could tell the staff were still new and trying to figure things out. Our server was very nice and working hard, but seemed a bit frazzled. Our burger was never ordered in kitchen, which was very disappointing when only one meal was brought out. Appears there’s still some ironing out and training to be done behind the scenes. The staff made it sound like management was confusing - which isn’t something we as customers should hear.The VIP theatres are amazing. Much larger, comfier and recliner seats, you can adjust putting up your feet, and angle of back. AND seat warmers! Roughly 80 seats in the theatre. Not a crazy large screen, but it’s not necessary in a smaller theatre.Unfortunately the service in the theatres seems just as confused as the first week we visited the lounge. The first server couldn’t scan the coupon for a free popcorn and wanted me to pay and then contact cineplex for a refund. No thanks. Asked for a manager and another server came in and scanned successfully. Delivery was a bit of a nightmare though. Our drinks came without the popcorn the first visit. 15 minutes passed. Second visit, they brought us popcorn and a drink we didn’t order. Which we later realized we must have taken someone else’s order. We had 2 more visits of servers trying to bring us food or drinks. (That we hadn’t ordered) So there was either a malfunction in the ordering software or staff are still not trained properly and there’s a lot of confusion.There are a lot of options for food, including healthy options which are great compared to what you can get at the regular (non VIP) Cineplex. Taste wise, it was good, but we didn’t have anything to go on and rave about (yet). We’ll have to do more exploring of the menu! The kitchen was a bit slower than expected, but this is something I’m sure will be improved with more experience.Tip: if you like warm popcorn, order and pick it up yourself. We’ve been to a few cineplex VIP and our popcorn is always cold and sometimes not tasting fresh.Note: the VIP washrooms are separated between women and men. (Unlike other nearby VIP theatres that have the shared washrooms but with separate rooms of toilets and sinks which are more private). They are nice and new. Built in air dryers beside sink are a little hidden, so that stumps most people.I’m very happy to have the VIP theatre experience without having to drive so far.*original lounge review December 17, 2019, updated with theatre review January 20, 2020.

Went to see Tenet in the Ultra AVX theatre. Far too loud to be enjoyable. It was at rock concert levels.They booked us into a regular showing an refunded the difference. Unfortunately that theatre (14) had sound issues too, far too loud on just the right surround. Tickets refunded. I’ve never left a screening once, let alone twice in one cinema.Shame, I thought it would be a treat to get back to the cinema, now I think I’ll just stay at home instead. Louder doesn’t mean better.

I am so glad this theatre is open again. They are doing a great job at making me feel safe. The VIP having 2 empty seats in between is a good social distance and everything is clean. They now have three sizes of popcorn (finally), and not shy with the butter.When we arrived, it was nice when a staff member said hello, welcome back.

I have always went to this location. It’s clean, organized and not overcrowded. Since they have been closed I order on Uber eats from their concession. It comes well packed and they gave me free future movie passes and Trolls cups which my grand daughter loves. I feel it for the businesses that are shut down during this pandemic. I try to support what I can which is nothing in comparison to being open but they show their appreciation with the small gestures.

Parking is horrid but the movie theatre is nice! UPDATE FOR 2021. Went to see a movie in VIP and I felt so safe. Servers were so lovely and had masks. I found everyone was very good about the guidelines. You wear a mask when you walk through and soon as you get to your seat you can remove. I put mine back on when talking to the server though no one asked me to. The movie was very enjoyable and we had a great time. I can not wait to enjoy again!

Prior to COVID, I would come here very often because they played many movies that weren’t playing in most theatres. It’s a good venue. The size and layout and numerous washrooms are great. BUT downside is that they have some SMALL auditoriums. The screen is small in these auditoriums.

Parking was a lil weird but what can ya do. Walking is good for you. Nice theatre. Loved seeing Scott pilgrim vs the world in a theatre again after 10 years.

This is my last time in this place in any Cineplex.. bad service except the problem with my hacked Scene Card !!! Which nobodys told me about thats fine .. but is hard to serve a hot popcorn?? And the Ads started the time the movie should start. Next time I would go downtown Toronto and really enjoy the time.

Really good picture quality

The iMax experience was fantastic. Big sounds with a big screen. Plenty of food options outside the theatre. There is a VIP area here where you can purchase food and drinks to your seat. Not very busy at the moment due to COVID-19. Our screening only had 3 people.

My favourite theatre to go to obsessed with a drink machine Love all the options, theaters are nice and large. I did go before covid time so Im not sure how things have changed but its amazing.

Nice to be back to the movies

VIP experience and absolutely, positively, categorically no going back to any standard cinema experience once youve tried this! Theres a classy bar back here. Then theres the theatre itself. Where to begin? The smell of cleanliness and leather hits you before your eyes even register the seats. Sit back, recline, order from the menu where the waiter is only too happy to serve. I had the warm caramel brownie with vanilla ice cream. All of this before the movie even starts. Heaven

Enjoyed the VIP with the amazing seats!!! These seats fully recline, even your feet are up, they are heated and the headrest adjusts as well. Food was ok, service could be better as we only ordered a couple of things but they brought something else. Friendly though and happy to fix. Washrooms were clean and well stocked. Parking is pretty full and we had to walk in the rain because the lot was full. Highly recommend this seating though!! Makes up for all else!!

This Cineplex place is pretty good considered to other cinemas around, because it’s right off the QEW and it’s got plenty of options around it from restaurants to Playdium.From the inside it’s not fancy but it’s nice, theatres aren’t big I barley found a seat when I went this weekend!It’s not as busy during the day the movie is 13.99 for regular daysTuesday’s are cheaper

Very nice theater. Relaxed atmosphere & very nice staff. A very good place to go watch a movie. Massive theater.

We went to see Frozen 2 in 4D and it was an amazing experience, my family loved it. We had 3D glasses, and our chairs moved (it was difficult to eat and watch). At some points, they released smoke into the theater as a special effect. After the movie our 4 year old also enjoyed some of the arcade games in the main lobby

The love seats is whats message this location my favourite one too go to now. The seats fully recline and you can have them heated, cooled or normal. The trays for holding good are bigger than other locations and have drink holder. There is tons of for space because the seats recline. Servers are friendly and quick to assist. The lounge is something else, absolutely beautiful with a pool table and plenty of sitting area. This is the only location where I could play the Cineplex trivia games while waiting for my movie to start.

What a busy place , but always clean and the cineplex teams are always smiling.

I remember when this opened was so ahead of its time.Its not that anymore. But in these times it gets high marks for being clean and open with some flicks.

First time in a cinema since Covid. Great to be able to get back to some normality. Looked clean and felt safe.

Not a bad place to relax with friends and watch some flicks. Toilets get clogged once and awhile though.

Over all good theater but very busy. The washroom on the main theater side were super gross, though. The VIP is much cleaner, and staff there are awesome. Good selection of food and drinks as well as alcoholic beverages. Poutine was very yummy.

Large theatre. Has a lot of movies to offer - they hold a lot of events here, such as the Flashback Film Fest which puts older movies back on the screen, and also shows indie movies. No other theatre I know of in and around the Mississauga area shows them. Ive never had a bad movie experience here.

Nice place. Arcade games for kids inside. The sound quality of the theatres seemed to give less surround sound feelings. Parking space around is very limited considering the Cineplex to have 24 theatres. Better to go early therefore, otherwise have to park far away.

Had a good experience here overall. What I liked the most was the cute alleyways and the roundabouts around the cinema. The fact that there are many fast food options at “outdoor” prices is also great. I reduced a star because their prices are too high for what they offer, at least my opinion.

The new VIP area is great, its the best way to enjoy the movie experience with a more mature crowd. The beverages and food selection are great and it makes for a fantastic experience. Seats are comfortable for even the longest of movies.

The VIP theatres are awesome. Pricey but worth it for the super comfy seats that offer lots of room and powered full recliners. Friendly and helpful staff top up the experience!

I love this place. Spacious movie halls and very comfortable seats. Delicious snacks and coffee available within the facility. Also free parking with lots of spaces are available. The good thing about this location is that there are many good restaurants around the facility with french like patios and good views. One can enjoy a nice dinner after watching the movie...

New VIP lounge and theatres here are the best. Heated/cooling seats that recline all the way back. Super comfortable and fun. Lounge has great vibe especially on Saturdays!

4DX, What an experience.!!

Clean, bright. Rather loud and a bit overwhelming but then I dont go to movies very often. Staff were helpful and signage was excellent. Dang, but this place is BIG! A clearer outside entrance from most of the parking lot would be helpful. You park only to see gast expanses of blank wall and the only doors are exit.

A large theatre in a large complex with many other activities (bars, mini golf, arcades, and restaurants). It’s the same as any other cineplex, however it seems to be a bit more clean than other ones I’ve visited. In addition they let you get your own drinks so you can ask for a water cup and get free pop or juice from the Coca Cola freestyle machines.

Best location in Oakville. Love the fact that it is surrounded by popular stores.

One of the mainstay cinemas in the area. Has a lot of good restaurants and bars in the immediate area as it is part of plaza.If you are thinking dinner and a movie, this is likely a good spot to consider.

Who doesnt love going to the movies. The popcorn lineups move pretty quick. Theyre constantly cleaning the property. And there is a lovely older Irish lady that takes your tickets up front most times that I go is always helpful and very friendly.

Very polite staff in the VIP section. Everyone greeted us and welcomed us to the section, and was polite any time I walked by. It felt like an actual VIP and not just as a naming gimmick for better seats

The theater itself deserves a 4 star rating. It is a good, clean theater that is well up kept. I took away 1 star because of the hideous parking lot layout. You literally have to park behind the theater and walk into the complex, past the restaurants to get to the entrance. There is no ability to drop of people who need assistance: little kids, grandparents, or someone injured. It is handicapped accessible, but not handicapped friendly.

Felt completely safe in this theater. The proctols here are A1!

How has this theater been under construction for almost a decade. I was there to see the first Saw and it was all torn up and it was still pretty much the same this time. Maybe the paint cans and plastic sheeting are part of the charm

Loveeee this theatre! The seats are better, the sound and temperature of the theatres are great and the always offer a wide range of films. Wish they had more Christian films coming in though and the prices for snacks could be a bit better.

I am the type of person that loves movies and I went the new VIP I was blown away! The chair reclined and you had so much more room then any other VIP I have been to. I think I found my theater that I will be attending from now on!

The theatre here is located at a complex with a dessert restaurant, night club of some sort and a few other establishments. The parking is kinda weird since we had to walk around the back to get to the front entrance.When entering there’s an arcade to the right. To the left is the ticketing office. Once tickets are scanned there’s the concession stand right in front.The theatre that we were in wasn’t that big but big enough to seat everyone comfortably. It’s nice that when people want to get by you there’s enough room so that you don’t have to stand up or get squished.

I love this Cineplex, always go out of the way to come here to watch a movie with my family. parking is great, not overly crowded and a great plaza. went here the other day with my family and the movie Abominable was amazing for adults and kids. I do recommend it.
