Prakriti has been a space where every day is breathed with love and attention for children, since I moved in as a facilitator a few months ago.The joyous faces of the children blending in with the relaxed atmosphere of the school is how every school should be.A home away from home, where learning is natural and in sync with the everyday experiences of life.Education at Prakriti is organic and wholesome which is reflected in the deep learning of a subject rather than rote or superficial information gathering. Prakriti is a place where I understood the true meaning of my life. At an early stage of my career, I decided to work with children because they are pure beings of nature and working with children is a new learning every day. I have been associated with Prakriti since 2012. During these years I have unfolded myself a lot and discovered a lot of hidden, unexplored qualities. Prakriti gave me a platform to discover those qualities and I also grew along with the children.My apprehensions about the ability of male facilitators to connect with children gradually got dissolved, as I realized its not gender which connects adults to children, its only Love which helps us to stay connected.I always relate my self to the inkblot symbol of Prakriti, which is dark in the center but gets lighter when it spreads. Similarly, I started my journey with Prakriti with so many doubts and fears. With the passage of time, as my horizons expanded, started feeling that lightness within me. Each learning adds more and more lightness to my being, like water to ink.

Understanding comes only through experience. And for experience there has never been and never will be a substitute.When I reflect on my journey of two years with TeamPrakriti, the above said lines seems true in every aspect. Theres always an opportunity to learn something new when you are a part of a persevering and dedicated team, lead by committed mentors. They show you a way you never knew- existed! You see yourself blooming.The same goes for the children of Prakriti. They get hands on experience and it seems to work out best for them as well. Hi Team Prakriti,We were a part of the Summer Camp Jamboree 19. My daughter who is 2.8 months old had more than just a time away from home. It was more like visiting another house with trees, open play, sun lots of it n sand n mud in other words (bachpan) childhood which now revolves around malls n everything that takes you a little away from being silly n funny n yourself ! Loved the entire fraternity n so much love n laughter n clamness what else is needed for a child to grow. All backed by so healthy and nutritious food yummy!! It was a summer vacation more than camp.Thanks for giving such an experience to my child.Keep doing the good work n shall see u all soon.Rimjhim & Vineet Tandon
