Used the swimming pool only on hourly rate. It was simply superb as its giving an Awsome view of the hills. And the neatness of the pool also good. Worthy one.

Lovely place. Wild stream behind the facility is superb. No disturbance from outside public. They have independent pool in Rooms. I feel that rainy season will be dangerous to get down to the wild stream as you can have Mountain water rush any time, which is life threatening while in the rooms with independent pool , it will be superb with a mild cold atmosphere. I would recommend you guys to give a try with family during monsoon.

Calm and serene place suitable for a staycation with family.. View of river from room is a feast to the eyes.. Really liked the privacy of pool.. Loved the nature friendly theme of the resort.. Highly recommended.

The resort has been planned in such a way that it compliments the nature,culture,food and traditional values of Nilambur which can be seen especially in the names of each room .The staff were friendly and warm, we could see their enthusiasm in making us feel at home and providing individual care to each and every guest.Had a lovely chat with the owner who was also warm and friendly.The stay was worth every penny and rooms were lovely and spacious.Had a wonderful time with my family . Will be returning soon with rest of my family !Thank you and keep up the good work.

Beautiful resort. Excellent location, in perfect blend with nature. Ambience is awesome. Food is simple but delicious. Rooms are spacious, especially the pool rooms. Mayaahi is a place for some Me time. It is not adventure or activity based resort, rather its more of a nature oriented private experience. We had booked the poolvilla for two nights and hence I shall review the same from all angles:1. Place and route: Although Kakkadampoyil, one does not have to go to the peak (if going via Nilambur) to reach it. The roads to the resort are good and is not too far from nilambur either. So travel is not tiresome.2. Climate : Its not going to be the chilly experience (which people want in Wayanad or munnar or Ooty) since its not way up hill.3. Ambience : The resort has a nature theme and they aim to be a NO plastic resort. Its surrounded by mini gardens and on the back, have their trekking area which has water flowing downhill (we can dive into it). Hence you always hear water flowing especially in the balcony and its very relaxing.4. Poolvillas are on the first floor itself making it convenient for families.5. Room : Clean, cool and cozy with warm lights. Space is apt for two people. There is one bedroom (Queen size bed), a mini bar, bathroom and balcony with pool (balcony has good lighting and a great view).Wifi available in room. Room does not include TV as of now.6. Food : Good n tasty n Travel friendly. Includes veg n non veg (halaal). Mostly South Indian cuisine.7. Room service (food) : Available on demand. Neat packing.However, their dining deck has a good view of the forest and hence they recommend dining from there.8. Privacy : We have our privacy, be it balcony or overall.9. The staff and their service is also good. I would like to thank Rox, Shameer, Shaijal, Sonu and Basheer for the Mayaahi experience. They are always open to suggestions and at your service.10. Pool is maintained with mechanised cleaning system. It is cleaned everyday. Pool dimensions would roughly be 3.5 * 2 * 1.4 m.11. Campfires (individual or group) and dining around it in buffet style are arranged.12. Price : Pool villa charge is Rs. 7k per night. This is inclusive of taxes and breakfast. Lunch and dinner are separately charged.13. They do have a honeymoon package which comes around 10k per night, which includes rose bed, candle light dinner, cake etc.14. Network coverage : Decent coverage for Bsnl and Vi, and average for jio. Other networks, I am not aware.15. They are developing their own brand of natural cosmetic products. However, they prefer the guests to carry their own cosmetics and toiletries since those are personal items, especially during COVID.Menu on the days we visited :Welcome drink : Watermelon juiceBreakfast : idly sambar / puttu with Chana curry (sometimes both), coconut and onion chutneys, steamed banana, eggs (boiled / omelette), veg sandwich, teaBefore noon Drink : Water melon / Passion fruit juiceLunch : Meals (Pappad, Moru curry, Spinach n dal curry, beans, fish gravy, erachi roastDinner : chappathi / ghee rice, paneer butter masala / dal curry, chicken tawa / roast, salad (Lebanese / normal), cut fruits (watermelon / pineapple)All in all, we had a great stay!!
