Stopped in here for lunch while traveling on business. This is the best sushi and Seafood Soup I have ever had. I ordered the Crunch n Munch, the Phoenix Roll, and the Ninja Roll. The atmosphere was lovely and the people were VERY friendly and attentive. Fantastic!

Place is very scary based off the outside, me and my friends were about to go to the Denny’s down the road but then we saw the interior. The interior is really nice and updated. Also the fish was nice and fresh and didn’t smell fishy at all and tasted amazing. Also the chicken teriyaki tasted amazing and was nice and moist. Ice cream was great as well.

I love it here! I cant even remember how many times Ive been to this place now, but its such a hidden gem! I love their sushi selection, and the family is so warm and welcoming. I honestly keep coming back here to support them as I find them to be such a sweet family. Don’t let the outside scare you, sincerely. Go inside and you’ll be greeted with kindness and good food. Sushi Lunch/TNT roll was wonderful, and ended with some lovely mango mochi.Will come again!

I cannot describe how much I love this place, I will get food here every week if I could. The sushi is so delicious, fresh and beautiful. I have many allergies and they are always very accommodating with the matter, they will also let you customize some of your own sushi rolls if you ask them 🍣 🍱! Also the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. This place is a 10 out of 5. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Food was fresh service was good. Place was empty for a Sunday night but from what I understand they just reopened for business, they had been take out this whole time. Would definitely go back.

The sushi rolls were well constructed but the ahi was definitely not fresh. It was ordered in what they called a red dragon roll. It was dry/leathery and painted over with a sauce. The rolls were smaller than we were use to and I expected them to be larger considering the price charged.Ive had sushi in some of the best places in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Japan. This is very average supermarket sushi.

My first time here after landing in Stewart International from Florida. Absolutely, the best sushi Ive had in ages and I eat sushi regularly. We had the Home Run Ball, O.C.Roll and both were Oh sooooo good!!! We also had the Itzmi Roll made in cucumber, and the Black Dragon Roll with eel. We started with the fried gyoza. Very good. Service is outstanding, pricing good!This restaurant is set back from the road on the side of a small strip mall. Well worth finding and trying. Youll be happy that you did.

Decent sushi, always fresh but their selection is mediocre at best. They don’t offer anything different or exciting. Same boring cookie cutter sushi you can find anywhere. Very unoriginal

Itzmi’s sushi is so wonderful my husband and I ordered it for our Christmas Eve dinner. It was absolutely delicious! The staff is also very nice, even when super busy. Thank you, Itzmi, for the incredible food and service!

Wings were slightly spicy and tasty. Tonkatsu was a generous portion, but a little plain (even with the sauce). Ice cream is always a treat there!

Ive been going to Itzmi since they opened some time around 2000.The quality has never declined and many of the staff are still the same.They introduced me to Unagi (eel) and Ive gone back for more ever since. Worth every penny.

I dont eat Sushi personally but my wife wont eat Sushi from anywhere else.

Whenever I try a new sushi place I try the miso first. Though simple, if they put effort into this soup then the sushi is usually fantastic. The miso was good so I tried their signature rolls and some appetizers. Everything was delicious. I could taste the freshness of the fish and I could tell a lot of effort went into my signature rolls. They did not fall apart like some locations. The wasabi was mixed beautifully. Sometimes you get wasabi that is patchy with super spicy snot inducing chunks and bland bites other times. They were so nice. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem. The presentation is beautiful, fish is fresh, easy on the palate, and the soup is very flavorful. The seafood soup is aromatic, well seasoned and a must have. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Went here based on the reviews and it was even better than I imagined. It was probably the best sushi I have ever had. Truly enjoyed every item I ordered (home run ball, tnt roll, oc roll and crunchy munchy roll). In addition the service was great. It was a cold rainy night and the woman was literally running from car to car to get our food out . Definitely will go back

They are still open doing curve side pick up! Most places have closed down by now but fortunately I was able to get my sushi fixing and it was absolutely amazing. Very fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and fast service.

I am a sushi lover and I can say that in Santa Fe this place is in the Top 1, always fresh fish, excellent sashimi rolls well prepared and very good, attentive and friendly attention. The place is very clean and good decoration. The food is at a great price. Its usually very empty and quiet when I visit. As I saw that they have Happy Hour but I have never been able to go to those hours but it is a good option!

The food is good. I forget what I ate already but the chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and tender inside. My friend had sushi which he says was also very good. The staff were very polite and attentive. I kinda wish I would have snapped some pictures too since the place looked pretty decent as well.

Dont judge a book by its cover - I almost did and am glad my friend pointed me to the reviews for what was INSIDE. The food was great, the owner was friendly, the service was wonderful, the prices were also great. We got both cooked and raw rolls, the Avocado bomb thing and some fresh sushi at the end. I was happy with everything except the soft shell crab which was too breaded so I didnt get the full flavor of the crab. Everything else was great and put this at the top of my list for sushi.

Lovely People and Great Food! We stopped while passing through the area. There are lots of options for Japanese/Korean food in the area. Im so glad we stopped here. The portions were good and the sushi fresh. The Home Run Ball was awesome and original. Easy on and off access to RT 84 and 87.

Itzmi regularly serves up delicious and creative sushi offerings as well as dishes from Japan and Korea. Their menu and execution is much more cared for than your ordinary photocopy sushi restaurant experience, and their service is top notch. I highly recommend the Itzmi roll...

Absolutely delicious food! Tempura calamari was crispy, spicy crab salad was a generous portion of nearly all crab with very little cucumber and it was lightly dressed with spicy sauce. Sushi was fresh and delicious. This will probably be my new go to!

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Orange County is tucked in the back of a tiny, unassuming strip mall, near the local multiplex theatre. A few years back, Id been lamenting the scarcity of good Japanese food in the area, when a local urged me to try Itzmi. So glad I did. Its now our familys go-to spot for fresh sushi, Kani salad, and yummy hand and traditional rolls.

Love this place. Its a hidden gem that my family and I have been going to for years. Good sushi and clean and friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices; even the grandkids like it. Try their Bento boxes! Bathrooms were updated awhile back, but still could use some improvements.

We were visiting from upstate. We were craving sushi and took a shot based on the reviews. The food was fabulous and the service was great too. Sushi was fresh. The TNT roll was delicious. I also highly recommend the calamari tempura, and the bulgoki. It’s served on a sizzling skilllet and it was amazing. The waitresses were very warm and friendly. Don’t judge based on location or decor. Let the food speak for itself. If I lived here, I’d consider this my local gem!

We have been taking our kids (now 14 and 15 girl and boy) from 10 years ago. The family that runs Itsmi are very nice, kind and courteous. The quality is great and the service is fast. High quality. Say Hello to Mi the hostess and server.
