Cafe Ekante is that part of Eco park that has options to walk around and enjoy the view.Food are little bit expensive but tasty and justified with the location & ambience.

Its a nice place to visit and spend some time. Ambiance is awesome and the views you get is very good. Staffs are good too.Food is average and quantity is good, two people can easily share.The prices are quite high, but I think its quite reasonable if you see the location and ambiance.

Its one of the most beautiful restaurants I have visited so far. The location is amazing. And the decorations and vibe just fit perfectly with the scenery. Also the food here is delicious. Specially the soups, they are just amazing. Portion sizes are enough. Most people think the prices will be very high based on its location and ambience but its not at all the case. Prices are quite reasonable and affordable. The food is also great taste wise. Might need a few little additions in their desert menu. The ambience is awesome. Best place to have a family dining. And last but not the least the service is also very upto the mark. Staffs are helpful and polite.

It is mainly famous for its supreme view. Island is very beautiful. If you want a romantic place, must visit in evening and you can stay overnight as well. There are beautiful cottages .

It was a nice place to visit at the weekend afternoon. Youll get some places to take pictures. Parking fee for two wheelers and four wheelers are Rs. 20 and Rs. 40,respectively.

The main attraction is the centrally situated Lake and the refreshing greenery. People can stay at Cafe cottage or dine in at Cafe Ekante. Bengali and Chinese two main cuisines are available in separate restaurant. Food is good in terms of quality and quantity. Prices are quite on higher side. The ambience is really good for spending time with friends and family. Ample car parking space. Ultimate place for Photography because of the close to Nature theme. The restaurant is very good. It has well ambience, well behaved staff,food quality is too good,but range is slightly high. The place is too calm. If u want to grab or take the mesmerizing environment my recomendation is to go to the place at evening and night dine out also. Properly sanitised and clean place side of the lake.

Firstly Cafe Ekante is that part of Eco park that has options to walk around and enjoy the view.You have Dhaba Ajante, Cafe Ekante and the Houseboat restaurant. I visited the houseboat with a group of 15. We wanted to book a day in advance but was denied, we wanted the menu to look at which they have not uploaded online or even on FB page which is weird!!! If you want to visit the Houseboat you can Only order Chinese...not sure of the business logic here. I would recommend the houseboat for the ambience...not the food. Main course was better than starters in terms of price and portion. But we were happy with their special nolen gur ice cream and caramel custard. Main course and starter prices for non veg items are around 250-300+ per plate. They had cold drink but not fresh lime soda!!! Overall I think the management is not too interested in generating great reviews for their food...the view is doing the job anyway to get business...

Visiting and dinning in Ekante Cafe is Awesome, because of the atmosphere and Scenic beauty around.The Cafe inside the beautiful water body of back side of Eco park realy amazing.Car parking system is very bad even charging ₹50/- the persons on duty in car parking is very bad behaviour. Maintanence of the area around is not upto the mark, plants and trees are drying out. Heigine of restaurants questionable,needs improvement, although food cost is above 3star pricing.In all spending day outs here is nice with friends and families. Remember in weekends, you have to wait more than one & half hour to get the table for fooding.Suggested to build a Colddrink, coffee and packaged snaks Counter here, so that visiters can enjoy visiting here.

Food is excellent! Youll find few unique Indian dishes here. Try their Crab (Kakra) Gorgora, fish lababdar and pora posto bata among others. But the waiting time on any of the holidays or weekends is huge if you do not reach there before 12noon. Ambience is nice.

Ambience is mesmerizing! Just mesmerizing! If you plan to come here in the weekend with your family or partner this maybe is the best place to crash. Hospitality is great. Stuffs are very nice and humble. Food are at a higher price though with medium quality & quantity.We ordered both chinese and bengali dishes. Bengali dishes are really preferable and chinese dishes is not really good. I would personally suggest to try বাসন্তী পোলাও , ঠাকুর বাড়ির Mutton কষা, পোষ্তোর বরা here.

The only good cafe you will find in eco park. This cafe also provides free boat ride so that you can cross the lake from the other side but dining in cafe ekante is must if you avail the free boat crossing ride. The cafe provides typical bengali cuisine as well as chinese, the average cost for 2 people is 1500 rupees . But the food is really amazing and the staff is really very good.

We went there few days ago but we had a very bad experience. atfirst the ferry service will start if the total passenger more than 12. so we had to wait outside for more that 30 mins....its very wrong process... now comes to the restaurant.. ambience wise its quite good. but they dont have any professional staff. very poor service.. now comes to the food...as per garnishing its ok ok but quality wise not so good...you can get better quality food at roadside hotel...as per Restaurants food & service quality my opinion is they are expensive....

Very poorly maintained, overhyped and overcrowded place. They do not pre book or reserve table and you have to wait two or more hours to get into the dinning area. The table service was delayed and waiters are failed to serve cleanly. It was my first and definitely last visit to Cafe Ekante.

Honest review... as per ambience I would give 9 out of 10... but as per food and service I would give 3 out 10... I ordered simple bengali luchi with kachalonka chicken and basanti polao... luchi was not like fulko luchi...my mom cooks luchi way way better than that... also the chicken was kachalonka chicken , jekhane bhai jhal chilona, so kichu bolar nei.. basanti polao was good.. now the service part.. they gave a bottle of water without glass..we had to ask for the glass.. also they took enough time for the bill... and the most irritating part... bhai etho table er opore sob etho, rice, used tissue paper..taropore eshe bill dicche.. diyechi dhyatani... my point is.. you can visit the place to enjoy the ambience..but please dont expect the food to be the same... its not at all upto the mark..

I visited the restaurant today around 2.15 PM. Food was good. Ambience was also fine. But service was not up to the mark. Very slow. Deserts was also not satisfactory.

Situated on eco-island, if you are driving by own car then it is recommended to enter through Gate No. 01 of Eco Park, and parking is available upto the Restaurant.Food quality is very pathetic compared to the prices on the menu.Ambience is very good, however Choice of songs inside the restaurant is pathetic.The waiters and staff are very courteous and helpful, however the service is slow and not upto the mark. The service needs to improve drastically.The lights inside should be dim, so that the outside view can be enjoyed while dining.The wooden bridge walkway is the cherry on the top, best place for nature photography as well as for clicking your best portraits.Do Not forget to bring your DSLR and enjoy the sunset and Cafe Ajante on an island inside a city.

So if you want precise location search for Café Ekante Eco Park in Google Map and you are good 👍OK , Let me tell ya first..U have to walk ,so I will recommend ,if you are bringing any elderly person with you, call Cafe Ekate prior and get a Cart (lil cars they have) , I am not sure whether this service is available for people visiting their restaurant, please call and check once.- Environment outside the restaurant is really pretty and get a lot of opportunity to click nice pictures as the scenic view is Beautiful. This restaurant is on an island in a water body and its overall relaxing.- Environment inside the restaurant is alright ,neat and clean ,with good comfortable furniture . If u want a romantic experience, take a seat by the lake.- Service is OK. However a Suggestion to the restaurant, to pass onto their Waiters..please tell your waiter to ask the customers (Young and Old ) before taking their plates. I am mentioning it coz I faced it, my lil 6 years munchkin was not asked if she has finished her food and the waiter took her plate away. Unfortunately I was not present there then n my husband was on an important call.. Other Restaurants and Hotels we have visited till now have waiters, who ask, even the youngest ones ,before taking their plates. Hence guys you need to Work on This part.- Food 💜- We had Basonti Polao ,Jhuri alu bhaja, Mutton Thakurbari, Bhetki Sorse and Daab Chingri, Nolengur er Ice-cream and Brownie with icecream. All the dish were Excellent. This is the first time I had Mutton Thakurbari & Daab Chingri & they were perfectly cooked and full of taste. Nolengur er ice was Amazing and Brownie was soft n fudgy.My Compliments to the Chef💜- Price was on a higher side but every penny was worth it . Very nice place to hangout in a sunny winter day. The place is serene. Here you have a nice green stretch. You have a huge water body and open blue sky. The atmosphere and ambience in this place is superb. In evening if there is a party then there might be loud noises and strobe lights. But on a hindsight you can book this place for a party if you want. They have very beautiful banquets and cottages. The catering here is superb. The bengali dishes are mouthwatering.

This is the best and closest gateaway from Kolkata. the rooms here are modern and very well furnished. the lake side jetty is a strong attraction for me. the Cafe serves bengali and north indian food. very well cooked. dont miss the fish fry, whatevet else you order.stuff are courteous. service efficiency so so. expect lunch to arrive in an hour after ordering. but hey, you are on a gateaway and under no hurry. orden another plate of fish fry in the meantime.

You cant get this ambience anywhere else in Kolkata. It is a unique experience. Only Bengali ethnic cuisine and Chinese cuisine available as of today. Tried both. I must say, the taste of foods are genuinely good. On top of that, it wont burn your pocket much. I would say that satisfaction to cost ratio is quite high compared to other exclusive restaurants/cafe in Kolkata.Tip: For lunch, try to reach around 12 pm to get table beside the window.

Food is really good, chicken with green chilli gravy was fabulous with tandoori roti. The Beguni was nice too. The service leaves a bit to be desired, pretty slow.The pricing was a bang for buck so Id still recommend it and worth waiting a little longer for the food.

This restaurant is horrible. If you order veg food they will serve you Non veg food very silently because their service people are careless. So, you have to be very careful . If you are strictly vegetarian, avoid this restaurant.

We reached cafe ekante at 6:38 PM with two senior citizens. They denied tea cofee entry. They said they will take only dinner entry which will start at 7:15 PM. So we had to return from there. They should have mentioned this in Google or at the entry point itself. One thing which I admire is they arranged cart service for senior citizens.

The restaurant and cafe are amazing for everyone who wants to sip on coffee or enjoy food with a view.There are two cafes- one serving Indian dishes and the other serving Chinese dishes. You could either opt for a fancy lunch on the pretty houseboat or have coffee and snacks on the open, roofless deck during sunset. Try the bhetki fry and the soups in Chinese preparations.

So Read Full ==Cafe ekante is located at the centre of the lake of Eco Park.The timing of the Cafe ekante starts from 1 p.m. Now, if you want to go there you need to wait at the jetty of eco park or you can simply enter from the other side of the lake connecting directly from main road.If you are entering from eco park, the boat will take you to the restaurant, which has three separate sections, one is Chinese, another is Bengali, the other one is Buffet lunch outside in the lawn. I read recommendation from the Zomato and Google that there is Indian also available, but it is not available now.You need to wait there for at least one and a half hours after penning down your name in the queue. After ordering the food you need to wait for at least half an hour also. **So the total waiting time is almost two hours** (provided you are lucky)We arrived early even before 1 p.m. But got our food at 3 p.m. Now you can understand our frustration. the people working over there are overqualified to be receptionist and waiter, mismanagement is everywhere in that place.So basically you are already annoyed and you are not in the mood to have food.Coming to the food we opted to go for a la carte Bengali restaurant, and what we found that options are very limited, even some of the items are not available (disappointed at not getting the jhur jhure alubhaja).But what we found that the quality of food is splendid and in quantity too.We ordered -1. bhetki fish fry2. bhetki macher paturi3. Cox Bazar Chingri Pulao4. Daab ChingriBhetki fish fry was ravishing. When we asked for kasundi, we had to wait for 10 minutes to get the kasundi. Daab Chingri was just heavenly, Gravy was mouth watering and the Chirgri mach melted into our mouth.** PRICE ** What people usually complain about it being highly expensive, we didnt find that because their portion is satisfying. bhetki fish fry was given two pieces in one plate. vetki paturi was also of two pieces, Daab chingri contained 6 succulent Golda Chingri & in case of Cox Bazar Chingri Polao you need to take 2 plates for 3 persons.Now it is your choice whether you will go to this place or not, the journey to the centre of the lake was very romantic & soothing but the waiting time is certainly too much & you cannot do much activity at the center!
