I eat here more than once a month and can not remember any bad service or food. Sushi is my favorite food and Yokohama serves the best in CT. Always fresh and delicious.

At least once a year I go to Japan. One of the reasons is good food and of course fresh sushi. I am so glad found this place because the taste and quality reminds me of Japan. This place is one of the best.

Busy but mellow sushi restaurant in a strip mall. Sushi was excellent and the rolls were very good, I would also recommend the fried dumplings. Deferential going back.

Excellent food and service. We had their bento boxes although they don’t call them that. They come with a good assortment and soup is included. The prices are reasonable and fair. We have been here several times both before and after the lockdown. Please give it a try.

Wow! Just wow! Fresh everything! The head chef and all others were amazing! Dont let the location fool you, this place is the best i have encountered in a long time.

It wasnt really worth the money i spent. All of the food was bland. Even the fried rice didnt taste like anything. This was our first time ordering from them, I dont know if this was an off day for them but im pretty dissapointed.

This place never disappoints! Either sitting by the sushimans bar or at a table they are always very attentive and friendly. Food is always done to perfection.

Pleasantly surprised at how amazing the sushi is here (have only done takeout). Moved to Litchfield Co from NYC last year and was really missing sushi as it was a weekly take out order for us. Some friends recommended Yokohama and I am so glad they did! The food is fantastic. I give four stars for inconsistency. Last night, the sushi was the best we have had from Yokohama. Other times, its not as great but still VERY good. Looks unassuming from the outside, but high quality and their online ordering platform is very easy to navigate. Will be back, often!

Delicious and friendly. Great saki and wonderful collection of rolls. Also has a diverse menu for non sushi eaters. A favorite spot amongst the locals.

Yesterday was the first time in this good restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the excellent service, with the superb meal and fine drinks and with the friendly cost. We will surely return there in a short time.

My favorite sushi place in the area. Food is great service is nice. Sake is hot. The baby yellowtail is the best. Ginger dressing is great. I havent had a bad food item here. If you like sushi youll love this place.

The food is always wonderful, very fresh and delicious. The quality of service can be a little variable, which brings it down a little. I love the dynamite and monster rolls. This place is VERY popular, so if your going with a group of more than say, four people, consider getting reservations. The seating is a bit close too since its not the biggest place. But we still enjoy the food so much we keep coming back!

I have eaten sushi throughout the tri-state area but without a doubt This is my favorite place has a lot of class. The sushi and sashimi service is spectacular and very very fresh and the prices are wonderful. It exceeds by much in quality what you pay in this restaurant I recommend them with all honesty !!!

Yokohamas sushi is as good as sushi gets; youll find no better elsewhere. The pieces are large, delicious and incredibly well prepared, and the fish is exceptionally fresh. Additionally, the sushi chefs take the artful arrangement & presentation of the meal to a whole, new, wonderful level! Enjoy!

While charging my electric car at the nearby DC fast charging station I enjoyed a delicious lunch here. The food was fresh, the staff was very friendly and efficient, I had a very enjoyable experience here. Will definitely return the next time I travel by this area.

The udon was sup-par but the sushi was exceptional. Definitely only a really good sushi joint so dont expect the other Japanese cuisine to be all that great.

It was my first time eating Japanese but I can say I would definitely eat there again. If its your first time eating Japanese then you should definitively get the lunchbox meal. Overall the food was great, the service good and the interior was very nice.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. On the outside it looks small and a possible hole in the wall, but once you’re inside, the food will transport you to a fantasy world. Being a southerner from Georgia, it’s been hard pressed to find a restaurant that serves sweet iced tea. Not only do they serve sweet iced tea, but it rivals any that you find in the south. The sushi roll that was specially made for my taste was outstanding and ranks among the best rolls I’ve had. The fried rice is what all fried rice aspires to be. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions that you may have.

This place is quite misleading from the outside: a sushi restaurant tucked away in a small corner of a shopping plaza turns out to be home to the best sushi in the area! The staff members are very friendly and offer very speedy service. The food is great and they have something to offer for every pallette.

Severe Food Poisoning requiring medical attention! It is with a heavy heart that I leave this review, because up till recently my wife and I have enjoyed this place a lot. We lunch there a few weeks ago and had the fried oysters appetizer. We knew right away something was off about it, a couple of the pieces tasted rancid, but by then we had had most of it so the damage was done. About an hour after the meal it started. We both became very sick, but this was unlike anything I ever experienced. I ate most of it so I took the brunt of it, but we both remained sick for weeks. with a trip to the ER for me. My doctor said we both contracted Vibriosis. We reported them to the local health department and were interviewed. I have noticed this place isnt the cleanest restaurant in the world, but I never thought something like this would happen. Obviously we will never return, but I hope this review spares others from the same problem we had.

Service is so friendly and prompt. I got the salmon teriyaki bento box, and for the price, you get a lot of food, its great. My friend got the chicken hibachi lunch, and again, a big plate of food. Tasty, well seasoned. Would go again.

Good food. Said we could bring a special bottle of saki that had been brought as a gift from Japan. First quoted an uncorking fee of $5, raised to $15 when she came with the corkscrew.Would have saved it for another occasion.

I have gone here for anniversary dinner multiple times, as well as just lovely date nights or a simple lunch. Every single time it has been amazing and the staff wonderful.The omakase has been worth it every single time. The fish is fresh, you can taste it. From Uni to red snapper it is just amazing. Hands down the best sushi in the area and so far for me all of CT.Try something unique like the Indian roll, or for traditional and perfect cuts of fish sashimi

2 stars for the total experience. Our waitress was to say the least rather uninviting. She seemed to be upset when we asked for more time to look at the menu. When our drink order was only tea, it was brought with such fury that I was surprised it didnt spill over. Our food selection which ended up being Scallop Teriyaki was just ok. We originally planned on ordering from the specials menu, but were told it wasnt available because it was a holiday, Columbus Day...go figure. We had a different experience on our previous visit. Hope this was just a one off, but will most likely not return since there are so many other restaurants from which to choose.

The food was okay. Our server was not friendly but not too rude. Until she semi flung us the check. My husband and I looked at each other with a what was that for? Cant say we would come back but who knows.
