It is an excellent place to buy anything you want. Specially, you can find very good food at pretty reasonable prices around it. It is a shopping area in a Govt. Colony called Lodhi Colony/Road
Spent my childhood around here. This place is just charming.Slow lighting, not much of crowd, and soothing atmosphere will make sure you enjoy good evening walk.Plus the old shops, themed cafes and graffiti on the walls are like cherry on top.Go there and enjoy.
I visited this place for the first time... Its truly mesmerizing... completely dedicated to designers... exclusively for art lovers... Complete makeover of your residence or office could be possible once you visit this market... Though it is equally important from heritage value point of view because its existence is likely about a century ago and you can see that once you visit this. Allnall good experience over here.
Good but better options available in few km range. Best for people living in Lodhi Colony.
Meharchand market has seen a great revival over the past few years. There are some nice eateries, cafes, boutiques for clothes, home furnishings, accessories. Some good confectionery and sweet shops are also located here. The location is convenient and mostly parking is not a problem. The market is a mix of old and new worlds. Some of the older businesses still exist and interspersed with new age boutiques and restaurants.
Good place.. not crowded. Has Designer Stores, Eateries pet grooming parlour and many more
Very nice place . Here you can get good skin care doctor and apart from that not much market is there
Well location. Good for roaming around, but not during current COVID pandemic situation. Take care of self and family. Go there if essential, in noon time.
Intresting place to shop.Few excellent shops here selling Indian handicrafts and homewares.
Maximum showrooms are closed!!Worst parking experienceNo best place to eat & chill (except juneja)
Quite comfortable with good experience to visit a restaurant like Yaara da Pind. All d best for ....YdP team
Its a very interesting place. You get many useful items here
The Cheese Ball, Kunafa, Sidewok takeaway, 3 of favourite places on a single strech of road, driving there every week
Old world charm. The market has some top luxury stores while having the famous Wonder Tailors and some stand alone amazing eateries.
It is almost okay. There are 4 to 5 good shops for daily needs. Like confectionery, medicines, sweets, books and stationary. Some veg, non-veg restaurants are also their.
Market looks expensive but it is not.You will get ladies garments at very affordable price. Lot of sale options are available. Better than sarogini nagar market.Nearest Metro : lajpat nagar Metro Station
There is this wonderful lil place called MI meat suppliers. Do Not give them a miss if you happen to be around here. Especially if youre an ardent non vegetarian like myself! Their dishes, though all are outstanding, you just cannot go wrong with their burrah mutton. Try also their changezi, brain curry, fish and their awesome khambiri rotis. Also if youre lucky and they like you, theyll also do out of menu mirchi parathas
Very expensive comparing to other markets nearby. Kotla is just at a walking distance from here. Dont waste your money in old Meherchand market.
Gud place to shop and dine or some snacksGot wall paintings near market in lodhi colony for taking pics
This place houses the best day to day products like stationary, coffee shop, chemist shop etc. When I was a kid there were no branded stores here. Now it has become a bit expensive.
For a good CCD coffee and WOW Momos
Converting whole market in show rooms and gradually becoming celebrity market. Lower middle class people dont think to visit here for shopping.
I really like the subtle vibes of the place.
The market has variety of shops, from restaurants including Subway, Gopala and Ganesha. It also has some stationary shops, mobile shops and other ladies garments shops. The prices may be high for some customers and the variety is limited.
If you around lodhi road and... You can find almost every thing you need, food, meds, electronics, bakery, sweets, street food, stationery and books, paint and cement, poultry and meat, vegetables, all in all almost everything.... But if you are looking for variety you might be disappointed.
A single spell of rains caused ankle deep water logging.... avoid during the rains
Not so crowded market but nice hygien maintain
You have got lots of parking space on side roads. Very clean market have stationary shops food, cloths election machenics.
Peaceful, rush free area for buying trendy stuffs
Didnt spend much time here, but the boot polish guys in the bulane do wonders for 40 bucks.
Food joints are good both for take away and dining...
Markets closed during lockdown except grocery and medical shop. Market at a very good location.
Lots of nice places to go in a single market
Its down at heel. I first went there 35 years ago when it was ruled by the Wonder tailors. It was a low end market then. The big push up came in the early 2000s, with the chic boutiques and designer restaurants. But its lost a lot of the shine in the last 2-3 years.
A traditional neighbourhood market slowly becoming fashionable with several boutiques opening shop.
Beautiful place for window shopping.
Had a quick lunch at Elmas.. delicious Chicken and Mushroom Pot Pie with a Belgian Chocolate Milkshake !
Old meher-chand market is awesome cause it gives you the family-wali feeling
A very old but a very nice market but a lot of traffic. This market is a part of street art on the walls of Lodhi Road flats. It has a small Cafe Coffee Day shop with Wow Momos stall and other fast food restaurants. This market has a lot of ATM counters
Great market for household purposes but i would still prefer khanna market over it anyday
Very old market, but changed with time, nowadays called mini khan market. Almost everything you will find there. MI food is very good joint situated in this market.
Nice one 👍👌👏😀
Meharchand markit is normal fare shops, and all type of food, dress and all kind you need are avelable in old meharchand markit,
Old and good market. It has got all you need for your daily needs.Free parking and big parking indeed.
If someone is visiting here one can find crockery and some home and cafe furniture
Good brand have come up here
Its help me so much to reach there
A good neighborhood market but relatively expensive
This is now known as Khanna Market
All daily needs avble here
Has substantially changed over the years. This market was hardly known for being a go-to spot. Now, it offers two Cafés for coffee enthusiasts like me to consider- Cafe Coffee Day and the somewhat upmarket ELMAs.While the CCD is as warm and welcoming as always, Elma offers an unforgettable experience with a rather extensive menu- covering Pies, Tarts and Pastries to Salads, Fresh Juices and what not.Personally, I would opt for the CCD solely because its fortunately located at a cosy market Corner. And we all know we cant skip a Corner Café- given the sunshine 🌞 it soaks in from all the sides.Apart from these two coffee ☕ places and a few stores selling fashion forward clothes and accessories, the market does not have anything more to offer.
Good enough to see.
Very useful and nice place for shopping
Good place, good infrastructure and crowd
Great place but little expensive.
Nice collection at reasonable prices
Mehar chand market is located on Fifth Avenue Lodhi Colony. AIt is is not everyday market though it has some grocery stores chemist, tailors n dry cleaners and some eating points like subways etc. Its not very popular as Khanna Market on the other side. Opp side of the market is encroached upon by auto mechanics, dhaba etc. The far end towards Barapullah is occupied by a travel agency and transporters for parking its fleet of vehicles. As the road leads to Barapullah or NH24 or Meerut Expressway, At night vehicles move at very fast speed without a fear of any accident which is dangerous for pedestrians and disturbs the resident, Lodhi Colony Blocks as well whose flats are facing it. Dont understand why there are no speed breakers or ruggers are provided as there are three T junctions on this road.
Excellent shopping market
Badiya market but costly
Its One of the oldest markets in South Delhi. All Necessary Shops From Grocery Stores, Mobile Shops to Fast Food & Coffee Shops Are There. This Market has plenty of parking on the Road Side. All Shops have large Sinage. It Caters to Mostly Government Residential flats which are plenty in the surrounding areas. Overall A Pretty Decent Market.
Place with coffee and food options. Junejas dine in outlet is wonderful place to treat your taste buds with Butter chicken naan roll..
Old mehar chand market is combination of expensive as well as affordable price market. A lot of shops of various goods are there. Overall good place to visit.
I didnt venture a lot but it is a market where you may get some stores which you never expected but I never open a store if I have to open one.As a consumer it is a community market.
Most Items of daily use sold at MRP rates, few elite restaurants available. Better to go to Khanna Market 500mtrs on the right which is a bigger and cheaper market.
Good foot fall
Super tasty 😋 street pizza and other street foods..
There is an expensive market, but the goods are good. The Market is just nearby Lodi Market, there is not such a big market that you can buy all the goods of your choice from here, so my advice to you is this, see the reason for another market.
Good ac service
Shopping for your everyday groceries made easy
Market famous for cafe, cuisine, designer clothing and repair of old clothes.
Boutique shops alongside old time tailors who repair old clothes ....charming coffee shops too
Nice Market. It seemed to be more focused on local residents needs.
One of the most renowned markets in Lodhi colony. There are several reputed shops and restaurants here.Parking is an issue.
The only exciting thing about this place is - THE CARNATIC. Its a cozy place with warm lighting and exquisite south indian food with flavours dripping out.
Very old and sophisticated market place with rich history of New Delhi....
Good old place to find everything in one place
👍
Amazing place. Amazing location. Parking available. Few eating joints.
