The Jesus and Mary College (JMC) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. The college was established in 1968 by the congregation of Jesus and Mary with the approval of UGC. The religious congregation was founded by Saint Claudine Thevenet in Lyons in 1818. Currently, JMC is run by the Sisters of Jesus and Mary congregation. The College began with the vision of educating young women to help them bring about development in themselves, their homes and society.

The college provides numerous opportunities to get to see famous personalities in various fields of interest which makes college life even more fun...I have seen most of the colleges of DU, and I have to say that jmc has a really big campus as compared to other colleges....well maintained gardens and park...includes open gym as well...lot of space to move around....a really big field for sports activities....Bunch of intelligent, talented, curious, friendly, enthusiastic, optimistic, and fun going students out here ....I feel really blessed and privileged to be a part of this institution.

Located in a safe area. Police officials are always available outside the college premises which makes the area more secure. Parking is the only issue as its a main road and tow away zone.

I have graduated from JMC recently, and I miss my college days. JMC was one of the best decisions of my life.....It is in the top 5 colleges of DU for Commerce and Arts, located in a posh diplomatic area, it has one of the most largest campuses of DU(15 acre), has the best auditorium in DU, amphitheatre, ground, gymnasium for the college students, spacious classrooms and clean washrooms and near Satya Niketan(hangout spot) and metro station are hardly a kilometre away....and not to forget immense leadership opportunities(various clubs and societies) and great encouraging & supporting faculty.......JMC has invited the President of India, Dalai Lama, and such great leaders as chief guest for various events....hence...I would say it is one of the best colleges in Delhi
