I didnt have any update regarding my parcel to USA, called them and the lady on call gave me actual update.Keep it up

This is an utterly useless office. My item which was supposed to be delivered in 5 days has been stuck here for more than a week and hasnt even reached customs yet. I tried calling but couldnt reach any helpline. And this time it isnt even about the pandemic as the lockdown has been opened since monday. I really dont know how a thing that got shipped processed and returned from customs in a single day in the United States takes more than a week to do the same thing in india. This is the current state of all government offices and they call us a developing country.

Neat and clean place. Officers are so helpful. Dont forget to bring your government issued ID proof before visiting this place.

My international parcel has been stuck here for over 4 months and I still do not have a good explanation for such circumstances. Absolutely appalling service in which the management does not respond to emails either. I would give them a zero star rating, if that were possible.

If you want to send any commercial or even non commercial items to foreign country, do not trust the bloody indiapost service...the officers are corrupt, never answer the phone calls, ask for bribe for custom clearance... Better options are TNT, FedEx, Aramex, DHL...if you still send your parcel by indiapost, chakkar lgaate reh jao ge...joote ghis jaaye ge but bina rishwat ke parcel ka custom clearance nhi hoga...baaki aapki marzee !!!

Never use Indiapost unless you want to lose the parcel. They never deliver, never talk, never update. I sent some urgent documents to USA and its been 2 months, no one knows where it is.

Called them , they picked up and told me to wait for a while. Lets see, if i get my parcel on time with all relevant custom duty fee details. Im giving this office 6 stars. :)Edit: Custom Clearance is completed, now the status is showing Item Dispatched Edit : Recieved my product. Paid the custom duty right on my gate. This office deserves 6 stars.If you havent received your product yet, I request you to kindly cooperate with the staff and have some patience, this is not amazon.Known issue: They do not pick calls but if you call during 3-5pm, youll surely get lucky.

This is a warning to everyone who is reading this “Never ever send your parcel through Indian post” They are rude unprofessional department who are just doing their shift without doing any work. My parcel is stuck since July 2020. They will just re-direct to other departments if you ask for your parcel. Bloody thieves.

I saw every government department is with age old illitrate and rude staff,why you are having salary just leave the job and sit back at your home,the govt staff need only salary rather than doing honest job,so this is modern india where dead governing head.

Poor service. This is govt after all. one has to travel 1 hour to solve stuck goods coz they dont reply calls and when u go - they remain closed . Zero Info . No systems. Lack of ethics ,substandard behaviour , and couldnt bother. This is govt service . And want their palms greased if they need to solve your order . They detain for no reason just to harass u .

Worst government office Ive ever come across with.Firstly, held my parcel in customs for so long.Didnt pick up any call when I tried contacting them.When I went to their office and said that it was a gift, not a purchase or anything. Shes sending her old bag how could she have a receipt now, they told me to arrange it anyway.Opened the parcel in front of me and did found out that the things were not costly and new. It was just a birthday present, a small handbag and a watch, then agreed to release the parcel without any fees.Now today, when I received the parcel from the postman, I was asked to pay 2200 rupees for the, which is even greater than the total worth of the items.Had no choice but to return my parcel.And i know theyre not even gonna send the package back to the sender. Theyll keep it with themselves as they always do.

The parcel I sent to France has not been delivered despite 2 months have passed. After complaint, there has been no reply. Terrible services.

Awesome Service . My documents got stuck in Delhi customs for past 4 to 5days, sent from US. I called Delhi postal service and gave my tracking number, staffs were very helpful regardless of language issue, within few hours my documents reached Tamil Nadu.

I dont think i should waste my time by criticizing indian foreign post office. I am surprised they are still not ashamed to operate in the same disfunctional manner. They dont care about your parcel . I really hope someday this very important office which is responsible for many international parcels everyday gets better. I also hope some one incharge does something.

Read the reviews and found that basic information about this office is missing .This is a department of Posts dealing with postal parcels from foreign countries.As it involves imports, there are Customs officers overlooking to watch that the goods received are as per Import policy. Only goods of value and kind as per import policy are allowed free of duty.. ( Can be read on Central Board site)All parcels are under the custody of postal department. They are produced before Customs officials , who sort out parcels, which may need Customs clearance.Only such parcels are opened in presence of postal staff and parcels are reseated after Customs clearance and are again in custody of Postal staff.If parcel contains items , which may attract customs duty, a notice is sent to the receiver, and parcels are recalled from postal authorities and re-examined in presence of receiver .Then reseated and warehoused with Posta deptt.There is no provisions in any country to send the goods back to sender. That has to be arranged by receiver .

Very poor service.very bad experience with India speed post. Today 32 day but my consignment is not received. I am continue tracking my consignment still on same place no any update. I have trying to contact coustmer care services try all helpline number but they are not pick up the phone and also complaint via email but no reply. Try all the way .but no any update or solution. I think private courier service 100 times best for india speed post service .thay are dilvery on the right time.

My parcel arrived in Delhi India on March 9th. Firstly custom clearance took a month even though it was a priority mail. Apr 11th it got cleared from Customs and its 21st Apr now and I still do not have my package , even though the delivery address is Delhi too. I mean this is how Government bodies work in India. They are just a waste of taxpayers money. Aur unko salary revisions bhi chahiye time to time. Crazy and ridiculous.For all the supporters of the regime who might say this is because of Covid 19. Let me clarify even last year I faced exact issues with Indian Postal services. Worst ever.

Staff is very helpful and courteous. I wanted to get customs clearance and the Customs Department Personnel were also very helpful.

Very responsive and helpful custom officers, they held my parcel, i called custom office to ask what to do now, they told me to send a email to customs officer at [email protected] with details like purpose of parcel, value of parcel, proof of payment and bank statement. i emailed them proof of purchase + bank statement and they released my in 24h.

India Post should change its name to incompetent post, I had a package from Thailand they sent back for no reason (they did it almost immediately). Could only be 2 reasons (address was all perfect, Amazon does it, not sure why these donkeys cannot):1. Some lazy guy thought it is easier to put it in a bag and export it them to deliver it2. Some idiot saw the return address and thought that is the send to addressWhat a waste of my money, better to close your business if you cannot do.

Never answer their calls. The customer care number is always, always congested. If by chance you do get through, the executives are always busy. The people working there are a disgrace. Its better not to have a FPO than what this country has. This department should be closed.

Ridiculous service as must have existed 100 years ago. No follow up, no customer support, no answers to hundreds of helpline numbers. Customer Care email address do not exist. No responsibility in case of mishandling and lost packages. DO NOT TRUST INDIA POST WITH YOUR VALUABLE OR URGENT PARCELS. THEY SUCK. WISH TO GIVE THEM NO STARS AT ALL BUT UNFORTUNATELY THAT OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE. Using Pigeons instead of India Post will be more reliable.

Indian post office, a service one should never opt for. 3 months and a parcel was not delivered. Travelled 3 hr one side, to receive parcel from foreign post office and here as hell, it reminded me of office office serial. One counter to another. They know very well how to trouble your customer, wish goverment hand it over in private hands.

Its very nice here. The staff and senior staff is very cooperative. They understand our problem provide instant solution many time as I face a problem.And post service is also owsome. In starting they took their time as custom change the policy but now its all ok you need not to wait to book Thier international parcel

This service is very rubbish, no one help you. my parcel is hold in Delhi. but no one is receiving my call. no one want to do his job properly. i dont know the reason that why the parcel is stock in Delhi. i suggest you to please dont use this service for any urgent parcel.

Contrary to other reviews I was pretty satisfied with the place. I went there personally to track a parcel from aliexpress. The staff there were very helpful to track my Item. Mr. Dubey and his colleague in the loader section helped me track my parcel which was already out for delivery. They made multiple calls to coordinate the delivery of my parcel at my office. Very bad experience , my parcel on fast track mode still did not delivered after 3 weeks. It took me 3 days continuous call to have first conversations and no update. Really bad experience . i had send this from UK on fast track twice but none reached to destination yet.

Received a letter with No Name below, my Name mentioned wrongly dispatched on 11.08.16 which I received on 20.08.16 and asked me to come to there office between 2-4 pm with the import licence and documents which are Baseless in some gym proteins which are already distributed all around delhi with free home delivery. My mail in which my certificate was parceled was dispatched/shipped on 11 April 2018 from mailing company via California -America from US 1st class mail service which doesnt provide tracking number & should be delivered in 4-5 weeks according to them, I hadnt received it in after that time period, So I reached my local India post office in Gokalpuri- delhi, it hasnt arrived so I contacted company and they said mail service doesnt provide tracking services and mailed a replacement on 31 may with better local address information, same thing it didnt delivered either, so I chose to find it myself and visited international postal department in ITO from Shahdara on 29 June and they also said nothing can be done without tracking no. , told If reciever address is not found it is mailed back to America and advised to go to Jhilmil post office, In order to saving it from mailing back and to find it, I went there on 4 July and they straightforwardly refused that they cant find it without tracking. So anyone responsible in the authority please tell me where is my certificate?

Worst experience going to the Delhi Foreign Post Office, the head ASP is hell bent on delaying the delivery.Even after the article has been redelivered 2-3 times and he could see that it hadnt reached (as I held the tracking report in front of him) but he said I dont give a damn, to quote him its not my work to deliver the articles, the postman is responsible for it, I had travelled all the way from my Noida office after talking at the DFPO customer care that I will have to collect my article from their office and theres no way out.And when I reach there after talking a half day from office this idiot head deals with me like that. I have already been waiting for more than a month and after that also he says that I will not deliver the article to you even though you are here taking time out of your office coz I dont give a F**K.

Never order anything from abroad through usps. Its been over 3 months that my order has reached Delhi but no one from the department is even responsible to send the parcel to the allotted address. Pathetic service. No one picks up the call and they havent even provided their email address where one can write about their query.

Parcel held for inspection for a period of 2 weeks even though USPS tracking said it cleared customs Forwarded to the next local post office for delivery since a week and there has been no tracking available for a week now. Really bad service.

Really really bad experience. My parcel is stuck there and they didnt respond my call. Priority mail servic is only working outside India. Salo haram ka khane ki adat h bas. Kam to tum logo se hota ni h.

So i had to personally go this place because they werent answering my calls(like every one elses) . Turns out, even that didnt help. They are hellbent on delaying the process, you can literally do nothing about it.
