Nice place to enjoy with your friends and family. You will get ice-cream and other snacks 10rs higher then the MRP but trust me they worth it. Specially with the view of India gate. Although the place is little much crowed so i suggest you to visit here at morning time. people usually exercise here.If you are planning to visit India gate then you have two option either to come by private vehicle or by using public transport if you are using public transport then either you use bus or metro if you are using bus then check bus no from your area ( 623 and 604 bus number come here ) if you are using metro then Janpath is the nearest metro station.

Visited the area in July, it was very humid but still fun. The evening is the best time to visit, lots of activities and fun. Although it was in the middle of the week and around 10 pm, it was very crowded.

There are two ways one can walk, Rajpath, this fabulous Central Vista, from National Stadium to Rashtrapati Bhawan or the other way round. Those who have been to Washington DC, this will remind you of the Central Mall, between the Capitol Hill to Lincoln Memorial. One should be careful to note that, unlike Washington, Delhi Rajpath walk should be done mainly in the winter season, say from mid-November to mid-February, the remaining time being hot, humid and can be difficult and can take away the fun.Reach India Gate, more accurately, Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, thorugh car or bus or any other transport and start your journey just in front of the stadium. Take Rajpath and walk to India Gate

Rajpath (formerly known as Kingsway) is a ceremonial boulevard in New Delhi, India, that runs from Rashtrapati Bhavan on Raisina Hill through Vijay Chowk and India Gate, National War Memorial (India) to National Stadium, Delhi. The avenue is lined on both sides by huge lawns, canals and rows of trees. Considered to be one of the most important roads in India, it is where the annual Republic Day parade takes place on 26 January. Janpath (meaning Peoples Way) crosses the road. Rajpath runs in east-west direction. Roads from Connaught Place, the financial centre of Delhi, run into Rajpath from north. After climbing Raisina Hill, Rajpath is flanked by the North and South Blocks of the Secretariat Building. Finally it ends at the gates of Rashtrapati Bhavan. At Vijay Chowk it crosses Sansad Marg, and the Parliament House of India can be seen to the right when coming from the India Gate.It is also used for the funeral processions of key political leaders of India. The opening scene of the movie Gandhi starts at Rajpath.I love my india..

Four reasons why I like this place are....1. The grasses here are well Maine and lush green.2. The cleanliness is evident here and it looks neat most of the time.3. It is a comparatively large area which can accelerate large no. of peoples.4. This place has a very nice ambience because of the location.

A beautiful park near India Gate, But these days, over crowded, I visited today(4/8/2019), humidity was horrible. And Grass was also not maintained. Dont go with your kids. You will not enjoy in this hot n humid weather. Parking is also full and very far, You will get tired to reach your car. Mosquitos were also disturbing. Avoid visiting in this weather and also on Sundays.

Detailed evaluation3.5A park leading to the India Gate.A long straight road.Because there is a tree, you can walk in the shade. There were stray dogs, squirrels and crows. There are people bathing at the waterside.Trash bins were installed at regular intervals.I think that it is good to take a walk if it is cool time such as morning and evening.
