The complex comprises busts of war heroes, and a precinct of four chakras, with each one signifying different values of the armed forces. The Amar Chakra (Circle of Immortality) is the innermost circle. It has a 15.5m tall granite obelisk with an eternal flame to pay homage to the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. Then comes the Veerta Chakra (Circle of Bravery), a gallery depicting scenes from the battles Indian forces have fought.Nearby is the Tyag Chakra (Circle of Sacrifice) made of granite bricks with names of 25,942 heroes, their rank and regiment, etched in gold. Besides soldiers who were killed in wars of 1947, 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1999, the names of heroes who died while on Indian Peace Keeping Force Operations in Sri Lanka are also inscribed at the Tyag Chakra. This structure is fringed by 600 trees that act as a wall representing the soldiers who protect the country, and hence called the Rakshak Chakra (Circle of Protection).

Anyone who wants to know that how many brave hearts has sacrificed there life for keeping our country safe should visit this memorial atleast once in there life.As a normal person we dont even realise that we are busy in our work of earning few bucks and we are so engaged in that work that we are not even aware of the facts that there are so many brave hearts who are sacrificing there every moment of life to keep us safe.I am amazed to see that how ignorant we are, that so many police officers, army personnels and paramilitary forces persons sacrificed there life for keeping us safe and we dont even know about there sacrifices. This memorial is the least what we can do for those martyrs and each of us should make ourselves and other citizens of India about the contribution of these martyrs for us.This memorial will definitely bring an awareness among common citizens of India about the sacrifices of our brave hearts and our future generations will respect them and will feel inspired by them.As an Indian its our responsibility to be aware about our forces and educate others about this and this small contribution of us can do wonders for our country because once peoples see and understand the sacrifices of our forces the will know how to take responsibilities and act accordingly. If the sense of responsibility seeps in all of us that will transform our nation into a great nation.
Best to see at evening
Must Visit to pay homage to our Bravehearts
