Its one of famous landmark in the area and well known for its its prime location. fun and frivolous activities can done done here which shall be supplemented by picnic. Its always nice to have a look at this famous place. During our childhood days, we would often pester our parents to take us to the park. Weekends were exciting because it meant a trip to the park to jump around and play.

Gulmohar Park is a neighbourhood in South Delhi. This park lies between Hauz Khas and Gautam Nagar and is named after the red-flowered Gulmohar trees (Delonix regia) growing inside. The nearby residential colony is known as Gulmohar Park Journalists Colony or simply Gulmohar Park for short, and was established by a group of journalists in the 1970s and is today home to top notch business people, senior lawyers and cine star Amitabh Bachchans Delhi residence.Gulmohar Park is surrounded by Balbir Saxena Marg and Hauz Khas to the south, Yusuf Sarai, Gulmohar enclave and Gautam Nagar to the west, Neeti Bagh to the north and August Kranti Marg and Siri Fort to the east.The colony covers 43 acres (170,000 m2) and has 13 parks inside. It is divided into four blocks (A, B, C and D) and also contains a DDA market and a residents club (Gulmohar Club). Inside the colony is a police post, part of the Defence Colony Police Station.

Amongst many similar places on Delhi, this is definately in my list of most calming and soothing places. With a hidden monument amidst the park, to the greenery and size. Plenty of eateries around the park, which is great after a heavy workout. An open gym which will help keep you fit free of cost. The beautification and cleanliness of the place speaks for itself.

Amazing place to go for a run or play some outdoor games with your peers and family. Has well paved paths lined with trees. Very well maintained and also lit up with lamp posts during the evening.

Orange pathway is great, gives a very natural feel. the park is full of activities and dogs. an instant mood lifter ! theres also great maggi yo be had at the counter right outside the park.

Its a nice place for morning walk, beautiful landscaping and bit of heritage structure. However just feel that its little unsafe during daytime.

Wonderful and well maintained park with long trails and historical monument structures. There is also a open gym facility in the park. It was a great feeling to take a walk in this park. Perfect place to sit, relax, meditate and contemplate the beauty of nature.

A beautiful park in Delhi, with lots of Gulmohar, and a few Amaltas trees. I visited during in May on a cloudy day, and the trees were in full bloom. Very peaceful place.

A nice place close to nature & the monument of Mughal era is the point if attraction in the park.

Its the biggest park in Green Park area after Deer Park. I visit this park daily for my jogging.I like various this about this park1) The pathways are not paved, so you jog on sand. that is good for your knees.2) One circumference of the park is 500m. So you can calculate your distance of jogging easily.3) It has an open air gym useful for many activities. Thus is focuses all age groups.4) Siri fort is adjacent to this park. So you can actually know the exact pollution level of this park at that time.5) The management keeps the park clean.Cons1) Water logging during rains.2) No parking

This is historical park nice clean and Fresh park, go there in morning or evening. But in afternoon there lot off nashedi or alcoholic people ,or some bad guys. Please go only morning and evening walk. That be a good choice.

It is a very peaceful place to walk and relax. All people like to come here owing to its lush green environment. In addition, it has swings and other outdoor gym equipments. It is a large park having a large space walk, chit chat and play.People like to come here in morning as well as in the evening, as it has beautiful views at both times.Usually it is everywhere; however, a few people throw wrappers and other plastic items there. It needs to be controlled.

I just love the place. Im staying at a walkable distance from the park and Im saying this because i am glad to be(oh!! Happy me!)Its a great place to relax from the delhi hustle.. you can take a walk; read a book; plenty of benches to sit around.. big grounds where you can play football, badminton etc etc(in general because people do play there and enjoy)There are some fitness equipments - basically prioritizing body weight exercises.Overall the place is huge, green, well maintained, and eye relaxing. Gentle wind blows around the area and there is a historical landmark in the park which you can see.Only problem i see here, not with the place but with the people who visit here is that they throw litter and other junk inside the park premises -- if you visit the place you may see some litter here and there.PS-- Currently Ive not taken any photographs of the place but in the near future i will edit my review and add some.
